Single Father, New To Mumsnet

Hello All

Im peter, 27 years old from london, I have two children, My son is 5 and my daughter is 4, I use to be a single parent untill my children went back to there mums but i still have plenty of contact with my children, Im here on mumsnet because i would really like to chat to other parents, None of my mates have children so when ever i tell them what ive been upto with them there not really interested, I sometimes feel abit isolated so it would be great to chat to some other parents, My aunt said that i should try a parenting website but she also said that she doubts very much that anyone would want to chat to me because im a guy,
Im just looking for someone that i can chat to about stuff in general and being a parent, I hope nobody minds me being here and if anyone would like to chat then please feel free to send me a message.

why did you take it off innovation?

because i was told i had been here before and i was being investigated by other members so i took it of because i was getting pissed off, il put it back on another time

but surely the photos would have sorted out that confusion? anyway, don't worry about it, just get into threads and over time people will get to know you.

That's a very posed for picture! Don't see what all the fuss was about though. I think you just have to be careful on Lone Parents, women are understandbly wary of men coming onto a topic full of single mums. It shouldn't be that way but I'm sure you can understand why. So long as you don't mention 'dates' or swapping details or anything like that you should be ok.

Do you have any pics of your kids? Do you get to see them often?
