Hi

Was wondering if any one else would like to get together one day and have a chat?

The more the merrier, everyone is always saying what is there for children to do, personally i hate going to soft play, swimming etc on my own. Think it may be an idea?

any one else with a suggestion?

x

pm is fine for me too. Kids are away, so anytime is good, but if it is pm then I can lie in bed all morning do some housework before I come!

About to CAT you wiggle.

wiggletastic · 02/07/2009 19:37

Can we make it 1.30 or 2.00? I know I am being a pest but DD's nap is very unpredictable, could be one hour, could be two, and I hate waking her up.

This will also give Weegiemum more time to do all her housework.

geordieminx · 02/07/2009 20:31

1.30 works for me

PacificDogwood · 02/07/2009 21:04

Anytime pm is fine by me. I will go with majority.

weegiemum · 02/07/2009 21:10

oh PD we are nice (says me who has been to a meet up ONCE!)

I was very aware that everyone was thinner than me!

We need to arrange something when my kids are available so I am not seen as a pathetic weirdo who actually doesn't have any kids and is spectacularly trolling on MN!

geordieminx · 02/07/2009 21:31

you know me PDW

PacificDogwood · 02/07/2009 21:49

Well, exactly, that is what is so scary, *geordieminx !
And everybody will most definitely be slimmer than me, wail!!

weegiemum · 02/07/2009 21:51

PD - we can have a competition.

Cos almost everyone in the world is thinner than me!

PacificDogwood · 02/07/2009 21:55

So Monday it is . 1.30 or 2pm? And where exactly: play ground or at entrance of museum? Or inside museum if inclement weather?

geordieminx · 02/07/2009 21:57

i wont know anyone else either. Ach it'll be fine! And as for weight, i have a wedding dress that doesnt fit so beat that! No cake for me!

wiggletastic · 02/07/2009 22:00

Inside at the info desk at 1.30?

Will pick you up just after one Weegiemum (still haven't got your CAT message though)

giraffescantdancethetango · 02/07/2009 22:05

1.30 is fine.

Will be good to get away from here - my neighbours who have been drinking all day are currently shouting at some seagulls oh how I love my street.

PacificDogwood · 02/07/2009 22:08

1.30 inside is fine by my.

PacificDogwood · 02/07/2009 22:08

1.30 inside is fine by me.

PacificDogwood · 02/07/2009 22:10

at spelling - I blame the red wine. Thought I had not sent that first one as well

wiggletastic · 03/07/2009 07:48

mmmm...red wine

My indulgence last night was a cup of tea and a biscuit.

weegiemum · 03/07/2009 08:21

Ooooh wiggle that was really pushing the boat out.

I had a beer. Just one. It was lovely and cold though!

wiggletastic · 03/07/2009 08:42

A beer!

You are all bad girls!

weegiemum · 03/07/2009 08:58

And today I am going to have another beer with tea as it is curry!!

So shoot me!

RedHairedGirlie · 03/07/2009 21:02

ahh.. a cold beer sounds lovely... still not been brave enough to have a drink yet - am guessing just one beer will leave me feeling drunk!!! maybe next weekend when I have an overnight pass then I don't have to worry about tending to dd in the night

1.30pm is good for me, see you at the info desk!

giraffescantdancethetango · 05/07/2009 12:49

So 1.30 at the reception desk of Kelvingrove. Can someone email me a phone number...just incase of any last minute changes! [email protected]

BBC says rain but then they said rain today and its dry so far...! Am off to the botanics in a bit so hope it holds off.

wiggletastic · 05/07/2009 17:59

I have texted you my number Giraffes.

I am off out to drink wine in the garden while the rain holds off.

See you all tomorrow...

geordieminx · 05/07/2009 18:44

I should hopefully be there with my friend and her twin girls.

giraffescantdancethetango · 05/07/2009 18:55

See you tomorrow

PacificDogwood · 05/07/2009 21:04

Yeah, we are on!
See you there. BTW, are we all wearing red carnations or something, or will you just recognise me by the general appearance of mother near the edge??
