Hi

Was wondering if any one else would like to get together one day and have a chat?

The more the merrier, everyone is always saying what is there for children to do, personally i hate going to soft play, swimming etc on my own. Think it may be an idea?

any one else with a suggestion?

x

11am in the car park is good for me. If the weather is poo we can go inside and if nice we can head off the to the park for a picnic.

(can I get a shot in your truck Giraffes? )

wiggletastic · 26/06/2009 08:15

I can give you a lift home Weegiemum and pick you up if you like?

Giraffes, we have not met before and I am slightly wary of your hairy hands but I am usually to be found hanging round Silverburn of an afternoon so if you are bored, come and meet me and DD for a coffee one day.

prettybird · 26/06/2009 12:18

I'll see if I can get along: although if Weegiemum's kids are not going to be there, it wouldn't be much fun for ds.

weegiemum · 26/06/2009 12:38

In the holidays I am frequently to be found in Silverburn eating Thornton's Ice Cream with my kids and wondering why I can only shop in Evans

Next meet?

weegiemum · 26/06/2009 12:39

wiggle - that would be fab! You're not far from me, IIRC?

giraffescantdancethetango · 26/06/2009 20:58

You can of course have a shot in my truck Where is the car park at Kelvingrove? Is it the one for the Art gals? Or is there somewhere else? (Despite being a trucker I actually don't drive, but shhh don't tell anyone!)

Thanks weegie and wiggle, will cat you both.

giraffescantdancethetango · 26/06/2009 21:19

Either I have catted you both or catted one of you twice - I am feeling rather daft tonight

wiggletastic · 27/06/2009 10:35

Ooooh, nice truck! I doubt you could get that in the car park behind the Art Gallery though so maybe I will have to get a shot in it another day?

wiggletastic · 27/06/2009 14:17

Weegiemum, can you cat me your email address and we can make arrangements for Mon 6th?

RedHairedGirlie · 28/06/2009 22:08

wow, nice truck... think that would be a sight parked at Kelvingrove!!

11am on the 6th in the carpark sounds good tome... if the weather is nice, will just grab some food from the museum and we can head to the park..

Wiggle, probably not going to make swimming this week - I am full of a cold at the moment.. maybe we can pick a date next week when we catch up..

PacificDogwood · 28/06/2009 22:11

If a "newbies" to the Glasgow MN mums are welcome I quite fancy joining you all on the 6th with DSs 1-3 (aged 6,5 and 15 months) - brace yourselves!

wiggletastic · 29/06/2009 09:04

Hello RHG

Pacific, you are very welcome and your boys too. My DD loves little boys - tis a worry! Still, I have a few years to brainwash advise her that boys are trouble.

giraffescantdancethetango · 29/06/2009 09:26

Hiya pacific

PacificDogwood · 30/06/2009 21:03

Thanks, guys!
I am trying v hard not to MN too much... but, oh I am weak !

geordieminx · 30/06/2009 21:47

I would have loved to have come but as ds is practically nocturnal he still has a nap at 11ish, so would be unbearable at that time.

Quick question, I have an appointment for a scan at the Golden Jubilee hospital over at Clydebank next week - does anyone know what the parking is like there? If its a nightmare will get the train?

PacificDogwood · 30/06/2009 22:18

There is a direct train from U. , geordieminx, I think, but also lots of parking.

wiggletastic · 30/06/2009 23:52

Parking no probs over there as far as I remember Geordie.

My DD has a nap in the morning too but the time varies. If the afternoon suits people better then that is fine with us.

geordieminx · 01/07/2009 07:05

Thanks hairy truckers called dave ladies.

Pm would be better for me but not to worry - will catch you all next time

wiggletastic · 01/07/2009 11:12

I probably would prefer pm if that suits everyone else? Pretty please? [awkward emoticon]

PacificDogwood · 01/07/2009 21:12

Pm is fine by me, not that bothered, although DSs will at that time of day have aquired sticky/grubby patina -'tis their summer holidays afterall!

geordieminx · 01/07/2009 21:17

C always starts the day clean... after that, well its in the hands of the gods.

He had a white t-shirt on the other day, we were about to get into the car and he decided he would cuddle the exhaust pipe on the car... he looked like he had been down the pit . Little boys eh?

PacificDogwood · 01/07/2009 21:21

DS3's dirt today was all very beautifully water solulable, but you should have seen the colour of the bath water by the time all 3 of them were done [tight emoticon - they all bath together]...

geordieminx · 01/07/2009 21:26

I bathed ds in the garden... with the hose!

wiggletastic · 01/07/2009 21:43

I fed DD in her highchair in the garden with only her nappy on then took her straight up to her bath. I might have used the hose if I had thought of it!

RedHairedGirlie · 02/07/2009 18:37

I can makee anytime Monday, so if aternoon suits the majority should we change the meeting time to 12:30 or 1pm maybe?
