There are a couple of good shoe shops in Ealing and Pitshanger - I was just considering a possible trip to Kew combined with shoe shopping ... But might just go to Kew to see the crocus tomorrow afternoon. If it's not raining.

Must grab some lunch now!!!

pcworld · 12/03/2009 13:49

Actually, Kew it's been quite a while since we caught up with you in the Tesco Mogden cafe. Ahh ... such is the exciting nature of one's life these days, eh? We checked out Sainsburys Hampton this morning. It has a Starbucks!

SFX, just go out twice in a row. You may find you'll like it! I went out twice last week, it can be done!

SJ99 · 12/03/2009 14:31

PCW - LOL at starbucks find! May have to check it out

Sfx - I know how you feel about going out twice. I went out eariler in the wk too and now I'm exhausted (although I have had a hectic 2wks in the daytime too). Only so much eating, drinking and being merry that I can handle atm

rosmerta · 12/03/2009 14:33

SJ, how was playgroup? Sorry we didn't join you but a wise decision as ds1 has now fallen asleep! In fact, both boys asleep, bonus

SJ99 · 12/03/2009 14:38

sounds like a result Ros!

Playgroup was good, it's v. relaxed and finishes at 11.30am so fine for a small outing, ds1 seemed to enjoy it as we haven't been there since last summer

Going to enlist his help in making sushi this afternoon
Slng - was it you who wanted the recipe?

sfxmum · 12/03/2009 14:42

rosmerta · 12/03/2009 17:28

auntie, mine or Kew Gardens!

Re starbucks, I remember seeing a cartoon with the headline 'Starbucks opens in a Starbucks toilet', always made me lol

rosmerta · 12/03/2009 18:00

is nothing sacred?

mygreatauntgriselda · 12/03/2009 18:26

Ros - don't ask me, I'm completely uncultured. Although I do enjoy a bit of "In a Rut" by the Ruts

SFX I can feel a MN picnic emerging!! Hope the weather is fab for tomorrow and that I don't morph into Waynetta Slob half way through the day...

mygreatauntgriselda · 12/03/2009 18:27

sfxmum · 12/03/2009 18:30

SFX - LOL

Ros - , what next indeed

MrsRecycle · 12/03/2009 19:29

Happy Birthday Steppie - hope you are out celebrating in style.

lol CafeSushiMummy..

Quite a few coming out to play tomorrow night - sfx, you must come as we need to toast your 40th. You will probably find you enjoy the two nights out.

Shame I can't make Sunday, looks like it's going to be a good turn-out.

Auntie, would have loved to meet tomorrow but ds is going to gymnastics at mid-day so won't be able to get back in time. Maybe next week?

rosmerta · 12/03/2009 19:43

Happy birthday steppi!

SushiMummy · 13/03/2009 07:42

Happy Birthday, Steppie!

Hope everyone is well.[waves]

rosmerta · 13/03/2009 07:59

Sushi, just seen your other post, hope ds is ok

SushiMummy · 13/03/2009 09:40

Thanks, ros. DH rang to tell me he seems better and he put a bandage on his sore leg followed by Neurofen for the inflamation. He is at nursery now as the nurse said as long as he keeps quiet (as if!?), he should be OK. DH's working from home so if anything he can bring him home to rest. We are still keeping a close eye on him today. DS said he fell of the bike but no cuts/bruises so we are .

sfxmum · 13/03/2009 09:41

good morning all

sushiI hope DS is ok

I think we will slowly get ready and head out whenever for a run around at Kew

rosmerta · 14/03/2009 07:44

Morning all, nice to see a few of you last night, hope everyone made it home ok!

I'm now very tired as I still had to do ds2's feed at 3am, have had to explain to ds1 that this morning isn't a good day to be asking me why for everything! Though he is making me laugh by continually calling a character in Lazytown Robbie Bum! Childish, me?

Looks like a lovely day, think we're off to Kew for a family day out!

sfxmum · 14/03/2009 10:02

good morning all

nice to see so many last night and yummy food too no skimpy puddings there

thankfully dd slept till 8.30 and so did the rest of us, lovely
I think we will take it easy today and I don't think I will be going out tonight, not when there are no trains from these parts to London

SJ99 · 14/03/2009 10:27

Nice to see everyone who came last night, I had a good time

Strangely I woke up at 4am absolutely ravenous, all that gasbagging must've burned off some extra calories

Sfx - pity you are missing your night out, enjoy your day though

SJ99 · 14/03/2009 10:28

Oh and Sushi, glad to hear DS is well again

sfxmum · 14/03/2009 10:37

oh and Sushi thanks for my lovely goodies and card
