Auntie - have signed up for your FB campaign, will do it for real with sore nips Hope your DC had a nice trip

Slng - outing sounds good

Had a good day doing nothing much in particular. DS1 tried to run DS2 over with his trike this afternoon His excuse was that he wanted to show his bike to ds2 Glad we mums have eyes in the back of our heads
Off to bed now I'm exhausted, hope to get few hrs sleep before night shift kicks in. Goodnight all!

mygreatauntgriselda · 20/02/2009 21:30

SJ !!!

I'm looking forward to choosing a BF profile pic tonight, they have some beautiful pics of newborns [broody]

I've just given up BFing DS2 a week ago so feeling bit emotional and about it

Yes they all got back and DH managed not to lose any children or come home with the wrong children!!

sfxmum · 20/02/2009 22:46

I thought it was a pic of us bf our own

slng day out sounds good

sj hope night shift not too taxing

night night

rosmerta · 21/02/2009 07:39

Sj, lol @ trike though I'm sure it wasn't funny at the time! Ds1 has told the librarian she can keep ds2 when she was having a cuddle with him .

Auntie, glad the trip was successful! I must admit I love it when dh takes the boys out for the day, though I do worry when I know they're driving .

Slng, sounds like a lovely day!

Ds1 seemed really tired after nursery yesterday so we stayed at home. He made a birthday card for Nanny, a bookmark & drew a picture of a fish which was actually recognisable as a fish, it was a really nice afternoon. Ds2 sat in his chair, watched us & gurgled lots!

MrsRecycle · 21/02/2009 08:46

Hi ladies - had a lovely time in holland, didn't manage to lose any Lo's (doubt that dh would have worried though). Only problem is I manage to get this nasty d&v bug - totally wiped out
I didn't get the job - really annoyed that I wasted 3 interviews when they knew I didn't have any pre-sales right at the beginning. However, they want me to hang around for the next role, unbelievable eh? Oh and I had to ring them to get an answer. Argh well, they're loss.
House sale still on hold - we are thinkng of changing agents as ours are really not marketing the house.

sfxmum · 21/02/2009 09:30

good morning all

mrsR sorry about the job and sickness but glad you enjoyed your adventure

I do worry endlessly when dd is away from me, no idea how I will cope with school trips, I just think other people don't think through all the possibilities and probabilities and plan contingencies dh is very laissez faire go with the flow attitude, he knows he has to text me at regular intervals when out with dd.
having said that I trust him completely, he is very competent

SJ/Ros attempts to dispose of new sibling are perfectly normal, we have all done it
can't trust the little buggers

rosmerta · 21/02/2009 10:30

I've been reading the least plausible lie thread & wondering when ds1 will realise he can try to blame things on ds2?

MrsR, sorry about the job & sickness, are you feeling any better? Glad you had a good time in Holland though

Sfx, dh has to text me when he gets to his mum's & when he's leaving! And a quick text during the day doesn't harm either, problem is he usually forgets so I'm ringing him & probably looking like crazy stalker wife to his family!

mygreatauntgriselda · 21/02/2009 12:12

Ros PMSL - yes my older two always try and blame the Fat Toddler for all their crimes when they get found out too!

SFX - I have put a BF pic of myself on FB, honest!!!

MrsR that's so crap isn't it? I think you had a lucky escape though - they must be awful to work for.

Have you thught about going multi-agency with the house. I know it costs more in fees, but I always find that the agents work a bit harder then, as they are competing with each other

MrsRecycle · 21/02/2009 16:05

still feeling rough ros. But at least dh is around.

Auntie - yes what an awful company to work for. Haven't thought about multi-agency. I was going to get a few of the agents round and see who impresses me the most. We do know we can sell our house - just wished the agent remembered that.

sfxmum · 21/02/2009 17:13

mrsR I do hope you feel better soon, that is rotten

with us atm my main worry is that only child will be too 'spoiled' for want of a better word or too lonely growing up

dd and dh making a blackberry and apple pi which dd insists on calling a EVA pie in homage to WALL-E, they made finger puppet robots this morning bless I love weekends when dh is around

sfxmum · 21/02/2009 17:15

and auntie such long keg and long hair you have oh my it is like you are a supermoggle

sfxmum · 21/02/2009 17:16

and that is pie not weirdly advance mathematics with fruit

mygreatauntgriselda · 21/02/2009 19:25

Hee Hee - wish I really looked like that. The things I like most about that pic are the chubby cherubic baby and the colours they've used

Am going to a real grown up party tonight, with - errr, grown ups!!! Am soo excited - have just got ready (i.e. wiped all the toddler sno off my dress)

mygreatauntgriselda · 21/02/2009 19:25

Snot, not snow!

SJ99 · 21/02/2009 19:32

Auntie
and yes you do look truly glam in your pic. Enjoy your party

MrsR - hope you get better soon, too bad about the job but maybe you've had a lucky escape

Ros - Can't complain DS1 has been very affectionate with DS2 but I have noticed more of a recent naughty streak emerging from him, I guess the novelty of baby is starting to wear off plus this never ending teething seems to have flared up again this weekend, always makes him grumpy

Sfx - enjoy the pie, off to make some bics to take to KC's now...

mygreatauntgriselda · 22/02/2009 09:56

Morning all (rubs sore head and feet)

Kew you still hosting later- what time ? Feeling a bit ruff at, but hoping to become more human as the day develops

sfxmum · 22/02/2009 10:51

was there dancing auntie? or just high heals? hope it was nice

well I have done about 20 miles this week, I can do marathons like that can't I

mygreatauntgriselda · 22/02/2009 13:36

...oh am feeling very Ruff now

SFX 'twas the dancing, the talking loudly ove music and the late night ...

rosmerta · 22/02/2009 14:00

But auntie, was it worth it?! Just seen your profile piccie as well

Are we still meeting at Kew's today? Have totally failed to make anything so will stop off on the way there!

mygreatauntgriselda · 22/02/2009 14:08

Ros - check out my new pic (not so glamorous...)

I'm going to have to give the meet up amiss as I have horrible sore --head- throat..feeling rough as anything

slng · 22/02/2009 18:58

Hi all!

How was the meetup at the Friary?

Auntie - hope you feel better now! Was going to ask you: where did you go in France for your Sun holiday thing? We are thinking holidays at the moment ... If we go to France we'll have to get DS1 a new passport! Is it five years already!!??

OP posts:
mygreatauntgriselda · 22/02/2009 19:30

Hi Slng _ Point Du La Croix - it was beautiful!!!

Yes how was the meet up at "The Friary"?

mellow2 · 23/02/2009 08:08

Hello everyone,

I'm just popping in for a quick hello. We're mega busy here, trying to get the site ready for some marketing we're doing in March.

I hope everyone is well.

rosmerta · 23/02/2009 08:28

Meet up was nice, thanks for hosting Kew! Lots of yummy cakes as well - dh appreciated his, apparently his run was very hardgoing so he deserved chocolate cake!

Auntie, how's your head now?!

I've asked ds1 what he wants to do today, 'stay home' . Not sure if I can manage a full day at home!

SJ99 · 23/02/2009 08:47

We had fun at the Friary, thanks KC, nice to see everyone Thanks also for various potty paraphanalia, sure it will come in handy in a few mths time.

Might head to library later as I'm sure DS1 books are well overdue

Auntie- hope you've recovered from your hangover, LOL at your new pic!
