bluergh to pigeon, i tried to cook it once!

ta for reminder kew, i need cookie cutters!

Paddlechick666 · 24/09/2008 11:08

it's even already fitted with a converter for a laptop, solar panels to boost battery and ipod connector.

It's got PADDLE written all over it!

Kewclotter · 24/09/2008 11:10

Not sure having paddle written all over it is a good thing... perhaps you could negotiate a discount for that?

Kewclotter · 24/09/2008 11:10

Oh and I'm not a good person to discuss this with at the moment - I'm of the "life's too short" frame of mind! Do what makes you happy!!!

Kewclotter · 24/09/2008 11:11

musn't overcook pidgeon - it goes very leathery. Best casseroled I find.

ComeOVeneer · 24/09/2008 11:14

Slng, perfect opportunity to try out the slow cooker.

Paddle it sounds fab, I say go for it, but then I am the impulsive one financially, it is dh who reins me in

Paddlechick666 · 24/09/2008 11:20

going to go and see it this weekend i think.

my new mantra is "you only live to regret what you didn't do, not what you did"!!!

hell, if all else fails I can live in it LOL!

rosmerta · 24/09/2008 12:27

Paddle, I would also say go for it, not sure if we're really the people you should be asking!

Cov, quick cooking question for you! I want to make a batch of fishcakes later, do I freeze them before or after cooking? Or doesn't it matter?

stepfordwife · 24/09/2008 12:44

buy buy buy

stepfordwife · 24/09/2008 12:45

..that was for paddle..
hi everyone else
will catch up properly later

ComeOVeneer · 24/09/2008 12:45

I would freeze them before because otherwise they will tend to be a bit too dry if you cook then freeze, then reheat(provided fish isn't previously frozen otherwise cook then freeze).

mellow2 · 24/09/2008 12:58

Paddle - If it's exactly you want, go for it. Do you have pics?

rosmerta · 24/09/2008 12:58

ok, thanks Cov, knew I could rely on you!

xoxo · 24/09/2008 13:26

Steppy: pasta, pasta, pasta. I have a big book on microwave cooking if you want to borrow it. It's old fashioned but works well.

MrsRecycle · 24/09/2008 13:31

steppy - just had a lovely microwaved bacon sandwich.

paddle - van sounds lovely, live for today, thats what I say...

afternoon everyone else!

rosmerta · 24/09/2008 13:36

Slng, don't know if you know but Ealing library has reopened & apparently has a new chinese book collection

mellow2 · 24/09/2008 13:40

Ros - Are we allowed to join Ealing library?

rosmerta · 24/09/2008 13:45

I think so, I joined a few years ago with proof of ID & address. I think I might go this afternoon & see if my card is still valid as its been a while since I've got any books out from there.

slng · 24/09/2008 13:50

Thanks Ros! I didn't know that. Walked past the other day and meant to check it out.

Paddlechick666 · 24/09/2008 14:39
