Seen it!

SJ - is paneer as easy to make as the recipe suggests? Tried the kids on it and they loved it.

sillybigsausage · 15/08/2008 18:10

Hi

you lot talking about recipes again?

Paddle/Kew - do either of you have an old pair of wellies which might fit DS2? Any size between 4-9 will do - I reckon he'll need some in Camber and don't think we have any that tiny!

sfxmum · 15/08/2008 18:12

just been round to my friend next door who bought me a very nice bottle of vino for keeping an eye on her place while she was away.
glug-glug hour is going to be particularly enjoyable tonight!

oh paddle, if you've got a minute to email me those numbers, that'll be fab. no worries if you don't get round to it, tho. sure you're packing the kitchen sink by now...

enjoy your week the camber crew

toodlepip

stepfordwife · 15/08/2008 18:50

lol right boob escapee, sausage
dd is always yanking down my cossie to show off my sad spaniel ears pert bosoms

stepfordwife · 15/08/2008 18:52

and. kew, they weren't just cakes, they were (adopt sultry tone) m & s cakes..

PaddlePig · 15/08/2008 19:53

is it normal to be knackered by the preparation for a holiday?

PaddlePig · 15/08/2008 20:38

steppie, i've texted my friends and will forward their numbers when they get back to me.

if i think of anyone else i'll add them in.

rosmerta · 15/08/2008 20:45

I thought I'd deign to come and chat with you

sausage, I've just left a message on your mobile, I've got some size 5 Bob the Builder wellies if you still need some.

Paddle, I find I'm always more tired by the time we start our holiday just cause of the packing!

Think I'm in for a fun evening, ds & dh both out like a light!

stepfordwife · 15/08/2008 20:51

thanks a million, paddle much appreciated
have a lovely week

ros, you might have to resort to watching big brother..yes, yes, i know i'm the only sap watching it..

rosmerta · 15/08/2008 20:54

steppie, sorry but BB is my idea of television hell . Thank god for Sky+!

stepfordwife · 15/08/2008 20:56

exactamundo, my friend..
that's why it's so good
oohhh, just time to pour another glass....

PaddlePig · 15/08/2008 20:57

i'm watching bb! i swear i will not every time but i always get sucked in when it's down to the final few.

i just know i won't sleep well tonight, keep running scenarios on how i will get my million bags down the stairs into the car and keep dd under control.

sfx, it was so cute today when our dds declared each other "best friends". have ticked that off "dd's list of things to achieve" now.

stepfordwife · 15/08/2008 20:59

i'm loving lisa...she's nuts

but i want darnell to win...there's a good soul under all that angst

PaddlePig · 15/08/2008 21:00

oh god really?! lol @ angst and also pmsl at arse! but really, he drives me nuts with his whole "pity me but don't you dare pity me" bullshit!

i actually hate them all!

PaddlePig · 15/08/2008 21:01

Lisa is botox queen I am sure. She just has this whole fixed expression that I imagine a blow up sex doll has

stepfordwife · 15/08/2008 21:03

oh god, there's been much mention of the arse this evening.."no, darling, we say bottom."
dd:"no, mummy, you say arse"

yes, i know, but i like him and think he's got people pretty sussed. give him a break - he had to put up with rachel asking if he was black, fgs!

i like rex...love how he winds people up and doesn't care, but again, at heart, think he's a decent person. hate how he is with "my girlfriend", tho..
oh lord, better go and watch it...

slng · 15/08/2008 21:03

Paddle - we are quite relaxed about packing. The principle is that all you really need are your passport (not in this case I guess) and your credit card, though these days it's a bit more complicated with kids running circles around you ... The most organised we were was to have cooked and frozen some bolognese sauce the day before, and took it with us in the car with it defrosting and keeping the rest of the stuff (ie bananas) cool. Is that organised or what? I was pretty impressed myself.

Is there anything else on telly?
