I made the mistake of mentioning the paddling pool and now ds is obsessed with the idea of it! Well, at least its nice enough to get it out today!

We got posh new black shoes for DS1 and stuck a school name sticker in for good measure. Can't really complain this time as his old shoes were seriously worn out...

What a headache I have though! More neurofen, you think? I blame it on all that cleaning this morning.

dd has been running around naked all day and refuses to put clothes on or go anywhere but I need to get out asap

when is DD starting nursery sfx - how many sessions will she be doing. Have decided not ot even try getting DS in anywhere for september this year but to try for next year. If he is less clingy in Jan I may try him one or two mornings.

dd starts in September with settling in sessions at the end of August but it is only 2 mornings to start with probably Wed&Thu.

but we still don't have the confirmation letter this was from a conversation I had with the manager

I need to get more semi regular activities for autumn / winter more to get me out of the house and I am sure she would like that too

i live in mortlake, shirk work from home and have ds1, 8, ds2,7, and dd, 3.

went out last night and didn't get in until 1.30am . like buses, all my social engagements have come at once. being the old fart i am, would prefer them spread over several weeks on once a week basis.

dd is wailing in a very irritating manner...think she's got distemper from the muggy weather..

kew and whatsyername...those kittens CM has are seriously cute, aren't they?
ds1 is lobbying for a pet rabbit

Ds has had lots of fun this afternoon with his paddling pool. He's also been naked at times but then his bf came over and I thought it best that he got dressed!

will take picnic blanket and some stuff to eat in cool box

I know, I hate C&C as well and ds isn't very interested in it either, any other ideas? Queen Charlotte's maybe?

around Queen C is good plenty of space to run, badger set and cafe not too far for variety

C&C is fine in but I find it hard to be there on hot days very poor ventilation

Well I sent a few hurs buried under laundry with my Blackberry multi-tasking from home, then had a barmy arvo with paddling pool, pizza and ice cream with one of DS1's friends -I sooo love the hot weather

Kew - DS1 and DD have been lobbying me for the last hou abour gettng a "pet". They don't seem to ggrasp that hving 3 DCs to look after is quite enough without having an extra (extra smelly) 4th small dependant thing to clean andfeed

The CM is a lot more patient that I am...

Hi all. It is child nd dh free in the COV house! Dropped dh and children off at ILs (as dh is feling better but stillsuffering with episodes of dizziness so didn't want to drive.) I went to IKEA in Wembley and spent way to much, then home had my nails done a long soak in the bath, pan fried scallops with bacon and rocket, with a balsamic reduction, fresh baked roll (not homemade rolls this time) and a mini pot of Gu.

Now in bed watching tv, mning and havin a glass of merlot (my second )

Life is good. Don't plan on getting out of bed before 11am tomrow apart from getting a cup of coffee. Then will hit Kingston for a spot of lunch and retal therapy.

Wha was the final decision of where and when for Friday night?
