New thread for new month!

Sorry about the finger Lausy, that it the sort of thing |I do all the time, that and burning myself every single time I touch an iron. Hence the reason I do no ironing if I can help it! DH gave up in the end with me and either sends his stuff out to be ironed (along with the bedding) or has invested in some fab non-iron (seriously expensive) shirts from Chicago that dry totally crease free!

Lau dh only eats fish under duress so perhaps my fingers are safe and would not be much of a treat for him

FIL called on Saturday and told me they would be arriving on sat 31/05 would spend the day with us on sun 1/06 taking us out for lunch and dinner and 'I expect you will be having dd's party on the monday'

can you tell he is used to bossing people about? bless him

Ds down for a nap, fingers crossed its a long one as can't handle grumpy monster again this afternoon. Thing is, he just whinges and whines and that just really irritates me . Anyway, hopefully he'll wake up in a better mood, I've planned we'll do some baking (chocolate & banana muffins)

I'm back - had a lovely week at the caravan, didn't want to leave. Mostly sunshine, apart from Friday when pc brought the rain with her . It soon brightened up on Saturday/Sunday. Spent yesterday on the beach with ds for 2 hours, whilst dds swimming in the pool and dh cleaning the cravan - what heaven. I've decided I'm moving to the caravan, dds can go to school, I can go to Aqua Tots/Beach with ds during the day....

My FIL "asked" dh if we could host their 40th Wedding Anniversary party at our house sfx - that means all the organising being done by me, all the cleaning up, all the shopping.

Any gossip? Haven't time to catch up...
