avenanap · 04/03/2008 12:37

??? ye olde english language me thinks?

jes74 · 07/03/2008 17:33

avenanap - thanks for a nice chat and coffee yesterday, I hope school went well today.

avenanap · 10/03/2008 19:24

They gave him a year 4 paper so he walked it. It's a tad on the expensive side so I've phoned the grammar school up, they are going to phone me back tomorrow for a chat. Brought him a hampster on saturday, he's really gentle and caring with it, he's even shared some of his beloved lego with it. I have no idea why the head thinks he's uncaring. Are you OK?

jes74 · 10/03/2008 22:29

hi, i'm fine, spent weekend visiting family and left niav there for week thinking i would have lovely week but all the boys have horrible coughs and ended up keeping them off school today - they are so going to school tomorrow. Glad he likes his hamster, from what you have said the head doesn't have a clue. All you need really is to win the lottery then to pay for school fees, holidays and the luxurious life that you should be entitled to have.

avenanap · 11/03/2008 11:14

I live in hope!

yummymummy327 · 15/03/2008 18:14

Hiya!

It's sooo good to finally see people chatting in the Derby section!! I used to check but started giving up hope lol!

Hope you don't mind me dropping in to say hi.

I live in Chaddesden (the quiet side) and really need some adult conversations that DOES NOT include cbeebies, dora or peppa pig lol!

Hope to chat soon x

jes74 · 15/03/2008 23:57

Hi yummymummy327

hope everyone else is well and having a good week, how is the school hunt going avenanap? we are having a lazy weekend and it's been bliss so far as ds's not trying to kill each other for once.

yummymummy327 · 16/03/2008 12:26

Hi Jes

Trust me you would know if you didn't live in the quiet side of Chad lol. Whereabouts are you? I'm off woods road like the chad/oakwood border.

I've got 2 little girls 3yrs and 15months. What about you?

Hope everyone is having a good weekend, dispite the weather

x

jes74 · 16/03/2008 13:25

hi, i'm near park medical centre and near the wilmot arms.
i have four dc, three sons age 7,6 and 15wks and one daughter nearly 22 months so bit chaotic here. due to weather we are watching films and in jim jams still so nice and chilled.

avenanap · 16/03/2008 14:37

Hope you are well. Hello Yummymummy327. It's lovely to hear from you.

jes74 · 16/03/2008 16:45

its been lovely today mooching around indoors, and it was k+a who said yhey were not going out as weather not nice so who was i to object?

yummymummy327 · 16/03/2008 18:48

Hi all!

jes your just down the road from me You definately sound like you have your hands full, I though my two was hectic enough!

Hi avenanap! Thanks for the welcoming

I was the same I just didn't want to go out, even though everything in me was soooo bored and really did want to go out I just didn't want to be bothered lol I didn't even go to the gym tonight which is unheard of It the only real "me" time I get

I do hope it will be better tomorrow! I hope you all have a good night! xx

avenanap · 16/03/2008 18:55

We went to pickfords house for an hour, was ok. They are having a Dr Who day next saturday if you are interested.

Jes, I've had an interesting discussion with a mum from school about that person who has a problem with my ds, she said she's had arguments with him before and she thinks he doesn't care what he's saying, he told her that her ds needed to spend more time away from his family! I'm meeting her for a coffee and a natter tomorrow. ds is doing well with the friendship book, he was given a certificate in assembly for being the best kid in the class. I was so happy . There's nothing wrong with him after all! Looking forward to the day at grammar school tomorrow, have not told the head and won't be asking for a reference. I think this is why ds didn't get into the school he saw last week, the head was about to phone ds's head as we were leaving. Glad to hear that you are well.

jes74 · 16/03/2008 21:27

if head stopped other school and don't blame you for not asking for reference-hope day goes well tomorrow. will tell boys about Dr who they should like that. how is the hamster?
yummymummy you obviously have more energy than me to go to the gym although I really would love to start swimming again before the childrn I used to go 5 days a week.

avenanap · 16/03/2008 21:31

Hmmm. Hampster! Sleeps all day, up all night, sounds like my brother. I put it in the bath (empty) with Joe yesterday so that I could clean the cage, eww, hampster poo! Joe was really good with him, gentle and kind. The bloody thing just sleeps, eats, poo's and goes around and around in it's wheel. I want a rabbit.

jes74 · 16/03/2008 21:56

I love hamsters!! but not cleaning out poo sounds like he's a hit with joe - maybe get a rat next then he can teach it tricks not keen on rabbits the only ones i have ever come accross have been bad tempered things!

avenanap · 16/03/2008 22:04

I like rabbits, they had some lovely ones in the shop . Next time!!! I'm not having a rat in my house. Ewww!!!!!!!!! guinea pig maybee I'd like some hens but I don't think m neighbours would be happy. Can't imagine why? Joe breaks up on Wednesday so it limits the exposure to the mad headteacher. I have arranged to see his class teacher on Tuesday so I can talk about his test results and find out whether he is uncaring and opinionated. I already know that he's opinionated, it's the uncaring I have serious problems with. How's things with you?

jes74 · 16/03/2008 22:18

we used to have rats pet ones obviously and they were more intelligent than some of our friends{male friends obviously}
I'm fine as usual feeding son but he is nearly asleep so dh is making me a nice rum and coke. Bet teacher has no problems about him and tells you he is not uncaring. You should get headteachersectioned a easter egg for all the shite support he has given you

avenanap · 16/03/2008 22:27

Haaa, lol! I have some bowel prep that the hospital gave me last year, it really does clean it out (gross). I might make him a nice whiskey cake . Teachers been telling me how much of an effort joe's been making with the other children and his school work. I'll have a nice chat with him on Tuesday.

SwtSimplicity327 · 17/03/2008 19:48

Hi ladies!

I don't know where my head has been but I only realized that this weekend is easter! I know I did sneak one of the chocolate eggs while I was doing the ironing hehe Does anyone have any plan for easter weekend?

Jes it's not that I have the energy to go to the gym it's a fact that my all time favorite jeans are sitting in my wardrobe waiting for me, along with half clothes lol

SwtSimplicity327 · 17/03/2008 19:48

Oh forgot to say this is yummymummy327....just changed my name

avenanap · 17/03/2008 20:02

Hi, I'm going to take ds to the museum for the Dr Who thing on Saturday. We are going to spend all day stuffing ouf faces with chocolate .

jes74 · 17/03/2008 20:45

I like the name change one advantage of moving last summer is my wardrobe shrank considerably so i will one day purchase new and non maternity clothes.
dh is working all of easter except sunday so quiet weekend planned with lots of chocolate
being consumed.
avenanapcan i get a double buggy around pickford house for dr who day or is it a very bad idea?

avenanap · 17/03/2008 21:42

No chance. I they are doing the same thing in the big museum in the city centre though and it has lifts. Pickfords house is a listed building though so they have a whopping flight of stairs.
