well he slept till 5 so a little better shame dd ended up in our bed at 4.30 am. my boys would love more friends and longer hols.I hope your little man has had a good day, the weather seems as though it's going to be good this week-probably rain next week.

avenanap · 11/02/2008 17:08

We've not done alot today. All activities are next week when all of the other schools have half term . He's playing on the wii. 4:30 is not a good time to be woken up. I bet you're exhausted. we don't know may other children, the ones on the end of the cul de sac are a bit clingy (brothers), their dad had a go at me last year because Joe rode his scooter into his boy's leg. He didn't stop in time. I was annoyed anyway and was busy giving Joe a telling off so his comments were not appreciated. I shouted at him that I was dealing with it and if he'd have been outside he would have seen it was an accident. Joe asked the kid if he was ok but the kid ignored him. All of Joes school mates go to their holiday homes in the holidays of they live too far away. Have you had a nice day?

jes74 · 11/02/2008 21:44

sorry after last post did tea and bathsthen went straight to asda literally just back ds attached to boob and dinner in front of me as well as computer trying to feed type and eat tis fun. spent day running round after dd went to the park dd promptly fell asleep so not alot, and amazed i dont feel tired. Now i've sat down that will probably change. If you have free time next week you are welcome to pop round for a drink and biccies the boys would love it,although i live in chaos

avenanap · 11/02/2008 22:23

I'm sitting on the floor on a cushion which is on a pile of LEGO with my laptop as there's no space on the sofa I think it's a requirement to live in chaos. It sounds like you've had a busy day. I think the government should pay mothers more money to stay at home with their kids as it's a really important job. I'm free on wednesday next week or could meet you in town the week after, then most of the children will be at school and you can moan at me about what it's like to move to chaddesden. Joe and I spend a bit of time in the museum (the one above the library in the city centre) or I could bring him at a weekend. I don't have much of a social life except for the course so you let me know when you are a bit less busy. They do £1 movies at the University on saturday afternoons aswell.

cloud2007 · 11/02/2008 23:35

jes74 · 11/02/2008 23:38

dh is trying to settle liam and i am trying to express for the milk bank, i think the greedy so and so has drunk me dry tonight though. because of liam being so little i have made no plans for this half term so can meet up wednesday. This is what its like at mo living in chaddesden - where is the library? simply not knowing where anything is, and what is a social life?

avenanap · 12/02/2008 00:06

Hello ladies. The 4am starts stopped a few years ago so my life's quiet unless the people next door make too much noise or Joe's ill. Things go rapidly downhill once they start walking. Oh well, it has to be done.

The library is in the city centre at the bottom of saddler gate. Do you want me to meet you in the city centre so that I can show you around? Offers open to all.

Bumpy's is good but it gets a bit manic. I'm stressed by the time I leave.

Have not heard from Mrs Fish for a while.

jes74 · 12/02/2008 00:25

Hello cloud i missed your posting as took me so long to write mine, 4am starts are fun, i am hopefull of a lay in maybe 5.50.
we can meet in the city centre but be warned me and 4 sprogs is not pretty and liam requires large amounts of boob.
im off to bed now so nighty night everyone

avenanap · 12/02/2008 01:04

Do you want to meet without children first incase you think you've made a big mistake and you don't want me in your house?

I hope you get a good nights sleep.

MrsFish · 12/02/2008 09:02

WoW - Nothing for weeks then it goes mad when I don't check in for a while :D

Hello everyone

avenanap - I am originally from Cannock too

hello liam slept till 7 fab that he is, niav heard me in the bathroom getting ready for bed and spent the night in our bed but at least i was able to sleep. I am never normally without at least two children dh works shifts and only gets his weekly rota on a wednesday for the forthcoming monday so very hard to plan around.
I am fine if you would like to come here next week, i'm sure your lovely and i promise i dont bitethe offer is again open to mrs fish and cloud 2007 or if you wanted could meet up tomorrow or friday but aiden is home,so if the weather is nice i was planning on a trip to chadd park as they have completed the new play area.
just let me know what you would prefer to do and i am sure we can sort something. please excuse the total lack of punctuation its the one handed typing around baby thing.

avenanap · 12/02/2008 17:36

Ahh, another Cannock escapee. You chould be proud. You didn't go to Blake aswell did you?

Hi Jes, I'm glad that you had a nice night. I hate it when I've been disturbed, it destroys the whole day. I don't mind children, I spent a couple of years training as a paediatric nurse at the DRI until someone shared their Glandular Fever germs with me, that's why I have ME. I could meet you in Chaddesden park, I'm not sure where it is though. I'm in Uni on friday though. I have not heard back from my thursday lecturer so I don't know if I'm in on Thursday.

Hope you had a nice evening cloud.

See you ladies soon.
Julie and Joe.

jes74 · 12/02/2008 18:21

hi all, on thursday i have the milk bank coming to collect and stab me as need a blood sample, and its a case of any time between 11 and 3pm, so that mucks up my day. must go ds crying back soon!

MrsFish · 12/02/2008 19:20

avenanap - Nope I went to kingsmead

OP posts:
avenanap · 12/02/2008 19:37

I did a bit of my alevel chemistry at Kingsmead, they joined up with Blake and Norton Canes for the 6th form. You were very lucky not to have gone to Blake, it was crap. I spent all day doing nothing as the people in my class messed about all day. In those classes where I did actually get something to do I'd finish it in 10 minutes os I'd have to spend the rest of the lesson waiting for everyone to catch up.

What about the weekend?

jes74 · 12/02/2008 19:58

Mrs Fish i tried and failed to add photos, will get fil to do next time here, hope you had a nice day at the park if you went, the sunshine has been lovely.

We have nothing planned for the weekend and if dh walks to work i could borrow the car on sunday(borrow my own car how sad is that) and then come over to markeaton park as there is alot more there by the sounds of it than chad park.

now i have two sons that are off to bed and i have promised to sit and eat a meal with dh as not seen much of each other in the last few days.

MrsFish · 12/02/2008 21:09

I could do sunday too, if the weather is ok

avenanap - I did a-levels too, I went to Blake for RE, Norton for Art and Kingsmead for English

OP posts:
jes74 · 12/02/2008 23:22

fingers crossed for the weather

avenanap · 13/02/2008 00:39

Sunday's good. You can come and trash my house if it's raining, I live near markeaton park. It's VERY small though.

jes74 · 14/02/2008 18:22

milk banks car broke down today so ventured to markeaton park which was lovely but we froze, hope the weather is nicer on sunday! I miss my small house at least i never had to do much cleaning.

avenanap · 14/02/2008 19:53

Cleaning? I don't bother, too much Lego so I can't see the floor. Are you ok?

jes74 · 14/02/2008 21:02

I'm fine how are you? I cant see my lounge floor its somewhere under crisp and cornflake crumbs i will hoover when liam is up in bed ready for Niav and Aiden to trash tomorrow.

MrsFish · 14/02/2008 21:10

So, weather permitting are we up for a sunday morning stroll at Markeaton? Hopefully I'll be better by then
