hi 33kjs every park, playground and school gate at some time attracts them, it is a sad part of life. my boys are well aware as last year at a local school (not in derby) there was an attempted child abduction, which really shocked everyone.
hi cloud hope dylan is ok tonight,i know all about bed sharing and bad nights. let us know when is good for you.
avenanap are you ok? as very quiet at mo or is it all them lectures keeping you busy?

avenanap · 16/02/2008 01:06

Hi ladies, have been a bit tied up. Joe's dad has decided to come and see him at the weekend, he did email about 6 weeks ago to ask if it was ok, I replied but have heard nothing back. Today he left a message on hy phone as we were out wanting to take him out tomorrow afternoon and on Sunday. I'm really sorry. I'll be childless on Sunday so did you want me to meet you both the week after? I didn't know about the paedophiles, I tend to watch him like a hawk though because he's always up to mischief. They are playing Alvin and the Chipmunks at the metro cinema in derby university next saturday at 3pm if you are interested.

Sorry about Sunday.

MrsFish · 16/02/2008 08:02

You could still come on you own... you could help look after one of mine

Ohh, thanks. Do you want to see my CRB check? I can't believe it. I've been waiting for him to get in touch with me for weeks so that I knew what he was doing, I offered to make him an appointment with ds's head teacher so that he can ask him how Joe's doing, he hasn't let me know about that either. I think he's coming to pick him up at 10:45 so I may make it for 11. I shouldn't be alot later than this. Hope you are all having a nice day.

jes74 · 16/02/2008 16:16

MrsFish · 16/02/2008 19:59

avenanap · 03/03/2008 21:32

sorry ladies, I had a tooth taken out ouch!. Have been feeling very sorry for myself. ds's going to spend the day at another school so that they can assess him and so that he can see if he likes it, I think they might want him to start in September, I'm getting grief of his head at the moment, I'm waiting for his dad to sort the fees out and he keeps grumbling at me about dss antisocial behaviour. He's a caring soul but only to me, he can wind people up and is often very rude. I've already sponke to a psychologist and the new school about this and they both say that it's beause he's bored but I can't tell his head that, he thinks ds going to end up as some sort of sociopath, unable to have any relationships. Head wants me to pack him off to a boys boarding school so that they can sort him out. Anyone would think he's got serious problems the way he harks on. I've decided not to move south, he doesn't have any family around now and we're only 40 miles away, it'll be worse if we move away. I think I need to get him a pet.

Hope you are all well.

jes74 · 03/03/2008 21:41

I had two teeth out abot two years ago can still remember the pain now it can't be easy being on your own having to make such decisions, i hope the school works out as it sounds like it could make a big difference to him.

jes74 · 03/03/2008 21:50

avenanap i have CAT you my email address it is my aim to spend less time on here if i can as seriously do need to dig out clean my kitchen as well as rediscover tidy the rest of the house

avenanap · 03/03/2008 21:54

I have no idea how to access that. Does it get sent to my other email address?

I'm getting so annoyed with them. Head admitted that the school had failed my son as he should never have been moved up, he won't move him down because he's had parents threaten to move their kids out of the school if he does???

avenanap · 03/03/2008 21:54

He's not that bloody bad!
