Dizzy has just texted me to say she has had a little GIRL 9 pounds 13oz!! All well and no names decided on as yet....

evening all

just dropping in to say thank you for all your good wishes and welcomes to new baby

miniestdixie home safe and well and still unnamed as yet I don't think I could make a decision at the moment if my life depended on it

just a quickie - went in on Thurs morning first thing, had tests done, needed more as threatening preclampsia - came back negative and went ahead with section, baby born at 11:54 weighing in at 9lb14oz, 54cm long and thick head of black hair like her dad

she has nails that look like they've been manicured and a viscious suck on her - my poor nipples are ruined already and its only been 2 days

left hosp today as the whole wing doesn't have any hot water

tired, emotional but happy

You take it easy and get your DH to spoil you - hope it wont be long till we can meet up with our babies Oh I'm getting all weepy.....

How are YOU? Can I do anything? Would you like any help with bf support? IE just coming and checking your latch is good? Offer is there if you want it.

Hope dh and family/friends are able to look after you so that you can concentrate on recovering and bonding with LO.

dizzy - like your name choice - Dylan - very unusual for a girl but I like unusual names. what are names of other dc's???

dd1 is Ella and dd2 is Lexie
they all have full proper names too though

dd1 is Isabella Jane Rose
dd2 is Alexandra Rae Cecelia
dd3 is Cordelia Dylan Mae

its going ok minipink am low on iron so will have to start on some supplements but we're getting plenty wet/dirty nappies so she seems to be getting what she needs

anyone else about the rain overnight, was very surprised to see house hadn't turned into an ark overnight

I also can't believe dd1 will be starting school a week on Tues, I've got her a wee red checked dress for going and at this rate I'll need to take it and change it for a sodding rain suit

I know dizzy the rain was terrible
It's the 'muchty festival just now and all the daft chookers in their tents were almost floating away - not that they were caring with all the alcohol they had consumed

Great to hear that Dylan is doing good - I had low iron at the start as well but it soon sorted itself out after iron tabs for a few weeks. Take care though and get pampared as often as possible xx

My dd started school last year so i know how you feel, she loves it and can't wait to get back - I can't wait either - PEACE!!!!!

what about the rain this afternoon too?!

Had put a washing out, cos forecast was positive, and had another one ready to go out, when the showers started. Didn't bring in washing for showers cos it dries off fairly quick, but then the heavens opened and my washing was SOAKED, so had to bring it in again and spin it. so now have a basket about 4 feet high with washing that all needs to get dried between no and tomorrow as it's supposed to be bad from Tuesday onwards... but it was bad enough today, so will it be good enough to dry anything tomorrow at all?

I cannot believe the schools start back next week - what happened to summer?!?

have bought dd1 a wee red checked dress to wear to school and at this rate will have to waterproof it

first day of sunshine - well not rain at least and dh been called into court - AARRGGHHHHHHHH [fume]

ladies its threatening to be sunny tomorrow morning - just to give you a heads up

hv came and weighed Dylan today and she's back up to 9lb9oz which is good news
