Just popping in and saw thread already full up! The craziness of November is well and truly under way. Sorry I'm behind on your news, hope everyone is well.

Still undecided about floor, have got loads of samples ordered. I want a fresh, modern look whereas Dh wants more clinical, utlitarian (sp?) look, need to find something that we both like

Have had a busy day. Dh took dses off to his parents so I've been doing washing (boo) but have also made banana bread (yay).

sfx - I am a master in the art of being rejected for being over-qualified if you'd like to compare notes at any time...

sfx - keeping leaven in the fridge so should be OK till Friday. We should be OK for Wednesday too if you are in. In fact I put another batch in an old coffee jar with press-on lid and the ferment dislodged the lid. Shows it's alive.

copper Wednesday might work as we are likely to keep it local, Friday we decided on going to the British Museum

faffing I discovered, is a very male characteristic but I am likely being sexist

very nice day, managed to run after the late swimming and late lunch

Hope everyone enjoying half term so far

Been to Mercedes world today, the boys loved it

Kids started swimming lessons and enjoyed it. But day went down hill from there, unfortunately. Tales of woe too numerous to be enumerated.

sfx - nearly finishing book 2! It's pretty intriguing. But agree about the sex scenes. Enough already. Going to use some of that leaven tomorrow to make bread sticks. Moment of truth.

we had a quiet ish day, neighbours over for the morning home play in the afternoon, tomorrow we have dentist and likely cinema afterwards, trying to get dd to watch The Muppets instead of the Smurfs

Wednesday I will have 2 extra children for most of the day. dh has another interview, hope not like the first where they still haven't filled the vacancy but keep trying to lower the asking price not yet a viable option

Sfx - too true, I thought the place was great and enjoyed the 1st 2 hrs, I could've easily passed on the other 3hrs But boys really enjoyed it and want to go back, I'll send them with my dad next time who is also car enthusiast

Heading out to soft play now, nothing much this afternoon maybe a dvd. I've tried to plan one activity each day either am or pm so kids can have some chill time too

Dses have had a playdate today, my friend had ds2, I had her ds1 , but now having a rest and watching The Lion King. I'm busy packing & baking, we're heading off to Paris tonight, well at around 2am to be precise...

sfx - We can come by tomorrow afternoon with two more children and a leaven if you like. Anyway we are free after 1.30.

DD1 had a sleepover , and before that her friend had a sleepover , and some other friends came over...i ended up with 5 kids...it was kind of fun :) DD1 was happy and that what really matters these days.

Kewc - we're having a fairly quiet day after being out all day the past 2days. Friend coming over soon for play

We had meal deal last night, think I drank too much but it was fun

island sleepover start being fun at that age, good luck with house hunting

KewC have extra children here already, but it is a nice day so more entertainment possibilities. How is the leg?

vbus we had the M&S deal earlier in the week but did not make a single meal out of it, last night dh made pizza and low fat eton mess for pudding

hope to fit in a run tonight, yesterday was so lovely at dusk, the best run in ages.

copper have food delivery between 12-1 so will be here all morning until relieved I think

Leg still annoying and not able to run. Need to get out walking a bit more to push it but not so easy half term week! Have promised DS McD's for lunch then maybe will hit Kew Gardens as the weather seems nice.
