*SUMMER 2011* Cheltenham Sumner Meetup

By popular demand I'm organising a summer meet up for us Cheltenham Ladies!!

I'll organise an evening 'do' as, I for one, am always in need of a night out

So, shall I throw out a few dates and see what everyone can do?

Saturday 4th June
Friday 17th June
Saturday 18th June
Friday 24th June
Saturday 25th June

I'll DM everyone who came/wanted to come last time. Please let anyone else know as well.

Lets have any suggestions for somewhere to meet, somewhere we can sit outside if it's sunny maybe? So if you've been somewhere you think would be a good venue, please say (or I'll end up choosing somewhere that is packed full of race goers like last time )

The weekend of 17th/18th better for me. How about The Exmouth Arms on Bath Road, it has a Beer Garden? We could even do a meal first at maybe the Norwood if anyone felt up for that.

Its a short walk from there into Montpelier to go to the bars etc.

Crispy.......I could pick you up on the way through? Alternatively we could share taxi costs and get wasted have a few drinks

Sounds good Pat - the Exmouth Arms does quite good food too? or is that only at lunchtime?
Or there is the curry house just down the road

17th/24th/25th are possible for me. 3rd & 4th are half term.

Oh yes, I'm eating at the Exmouth in a few weeks so I hope its good, and they serve until about 9pm I think.

Plenty of Curry houses to choose from if people would prefer a curry, Indian Brasserie was always my favourite although DH likes Balti Walla as you can bring your own booze (or you used to be able to).

Exmouth sounds like a good plan especially as I can walk to it from my dads house!
Let's leave the thread for a few days so we can gather us all in and look at the dates everyone is available

Can't do 17th/18th at all as we have a family wedding to go to in Norfolk.

Any of the other dates though. Exmouth Arms would be fine though or anywhere really.

hi, the only date i can do is the weekend of the 3rd and 4th, the 4th would be better. its ds2's 10th birthday on the 18th so that weekend will be getting ready for and having his party. the 24th/25th is the weekend of my best mates wedding so cant come then either. sorry x

Any of those good for me. I'll probably drive as I'm coming from Churchdown plus I'll probably be up in the night with the baby, so happy to give anyone a lift.

Hi, I didn't make the last meet up, but def on for this one. Think nearly all dates are fine, but generally sat night is better than fri night for me (work saturdays!)

I'm in Longlevens if anyone nearby to share lifts/taxi costs etc
