By popular demand I'm organising a summer meet up for us Cheltenham Ladies!!

I'll organise an evening 'do' as, I for one, am always in need of a night out

So, shall I throw out a few dates and see what everyone can do?

Friday 3rd June
Saturday 4th June
Friday 17th June
Saturday 18th June
Friday 24th June
Saturday 25th June

I'll DM everyone who came/wanted to come last time. Please let anyone else know as well.

Lets have any suggestions for somewhere to meet, somewhere we can sit outside if it's sunny maybe? So if you've been somewhere you think would be a good venue, please say (or I'll end up choosing somewhere that is packed full of race goers like last time Grin )

I was going to wimp out of coming a while ago, but now am looking forward to meeting everyone Smile
I'm still 90% certain I'll come but will be coming straight after work and it's going to be manic tomorrow, so I'll see how bloodshot/grumpy/manky -looking I am.
Will still pay the 7.50 if anyone'll be out of pocket.

Galena · 08/07/2011 22:19

Helloooooo,

I'm still here! Still coming tomorrow, assuming Bumper can still give me a lift (have sent a message to check).

I think I'm looking forward to it! Grin

TsarinaDollytwat · 08/07/2011 22:24

It's going to be fab!!
I haven't managed to get round to doing labels by the way, so if anyone has some sticky labels can you bring them and we can do them tomorrow!

Lets just pray for some sunshine, much nicer to be outside in the sun!

They'll do the buffet inside if it's raining so we're ok whatever happens

See you tomorrow!

AlsoAvailableSober · 08/07/2011 22:27

Fantastic Pat, you can have a glass of Wine or five Grin

I will try and remember some labels......

Bumperlicioso · 08/07/2011 22:36

Have replied G. May be about 15 mins late as going to attempt to get the baby down first. Where's everyone parking? Is the exmouth the one on Bath Road?

AlsoAvailableSober · 08/07/2011 22:39

It is Bumper - not sure if they have a car park, but there is parking on the road and a car park down the side of Sainsbury's (ish)

TsarinaDollytwat · 08/07/2011 22:43

There's a car park off the Bath Road isn't there?
I'll get a taxi so I can have a lot few to drink Grin

DontCallMeBaby · 08/07/2011 23:54

Heading into Cheltenham up the Bath Road ... the Exmouth has a carpark of its own literally just before the pub, between the pub and the garden. I wouldn't recommend it as if it's full you'll have a hell of a time getting back out again. Just after the pub there is a left turn into a public carpark (can't remember if it's just before or after the pedestrian crossing; it's very close anyway). I'm pretty sure it's free at that time of night - it's cheap anyway, at most you'd pay something like 60p.

I will be yomping in a northerly direction, as I am within walking distance, especially when incentivised with an alcoholic beverage or two. 7.15 then? Oh crumbs ... :o

ledkr · 09/07/2011 09:55

7.15?? Never been out so early,in a way better tho cos dh can bring me and then get baby home for bed,Dolly will you be there early i dont know anyone else, ill be wandering around looking lost Grin

AlsoAvailableSober · 09/07/2011 10:02

I think I may have started the 7.15 thing Blush, but that was for when Pat is picking me up. We should be there before 7.45 though.

TsarinaDollytwat · 09/07/2011 10:37

I will be there slightly early. They don't do food after 8 that's why we are early!

TsarinaDollytwat · 09/07/2011 10:40

If you want my mObile number dm me

ledkr · 09/07/2011 10:54

ok brill.ill get there early cos can get a lift and get out of the bedtinme shinnanigans tee hee.

TsarinaDollytwat · 09/07/2011 16:40

Think we'll be inside if the weather doesn't change!

AlsoAvailableSober · 09/07/2011 16:50

Bright sunshine now. Just off for a soak in the bath Smile

What is everyone wearing? Apart from the Linen Trousers, Maxi Dresses & Waterfall Cardigans Wink

BumperlicicusTotalus · 09/07/2011 17:04

Oh gawd, what ever fits and isn't covered in vomit or mushed up biscuits! Which leaves very little!

AlsoAvailableSober · 09/07/2011 17:07

Lol Bumper Grin. I am saying 'pah' to MN style advice and wearing a maxi dress. Brave or stupid some might say.....

TwigletStiglet · 09/07/2011 17:15

i was going to do nice top and jeans but now i might just be daring and get out that maxi dress!

PatTheHammer · 09/07/2011 17:22

Oooooooh, dresses is it???

I don't have a Maxi dress that fits anymore (positive thing!) so will dig out an old wrap dress.....so very 5 seaons ago but I couldn't give a monkeysWink

DontCallMeBaby · 09/07/2011 17:29

I am currently wearing this and jeans and I don't intend to get changed, so you can spot me by the Boden ... ;)

I have made myself a DCMB label but it looks like it says DUMB so I won't be wearing it.

AlsoAvailableSober · 09/07/2011 17:39

this is mine Smile

Wine
Galena · 09/07/2011 17:58

Oh dear, I think I'm going to be underdressed. I'm wearing a white top, under-knee length blue denim skirt and am not going to change. Even got a red granny cardi on and I'm not changing that either. But then, me and fashion don't mix, and if I wore a maxi dress I'd look dreadful, so you can have me as I am or not at all. Grin

BumperlicicusTotalus · 09/07/2011 18:11

If it was nicer weather I'd have busted out my maxi. As it is I am wearing donated jeans, a primarni tshirt and an ancient cardi.

Poor dd2, she was up at 6.30 but only napped 2xhalf an hour today. Wanted to put her down early and kept her awake. She was knackered and now crashed out but may treat this as a nap. Poor dh! May have to leave early if she ends up hysterical!

Galena, looks like I can aim for a bit earlier if you like?

BumperlicicusTotalus · 09/07/2011 18:13

I'm considering bring my crochet along. I don't get much free time and I'd like to maximise it! Idle hands and all that...

Will anyone judge me?

Galena · 09/07/2011 18:17

I won't judge... I would have brought my knitting (my friend has me knitting for a charity project...) but am so tired I don't know if I can face it! DD hasn't slept today at all, so she'll be off to bed soon (daddy's bedtime today).

You can arrive any time, Bumper! I don't have a life will be ready.
