*SUMMER 2011* Cheltenham Sumner Meetup

By popular demand I'm organising a summer meet up for us Cheltenham Ladies!!

I'll organise an evening 'do' as, I for one, am always in need of a night out

So, shall I throw out a few dates and see what everyone can do?

I'll DM everyone who came/wanted to come last time. Please let anyone else know as well.

Lets have any suggestions for somewhere to meet, somewhere we can sit outside if it's sunny maybe? So if you've been somewhere you think would be a good venue, please say (or I'll end up choosing somewhere that is packed full of race goers like last time )

haha pig? I really did think it was that, we go there a lot but not since had dd,i get no pleasure from a meal out when ive still got bath and bedtime to do when get home.

Pia we've already decided on sat 9th July now as it's a date we could all do. If you can't make this one, I'm sure we'll have another later in the year. I want to try the new Jamie Oliver restaurant so could be a good excuse!!

Ledkr thanks for doing the research. Ok so we'll have drinks at the Exmouth and I'll book a table at the balti nearer when we have numbers confirmed. We can buy booze at the supermarket!

Well, said cat is in fact a bastard, not the murdering small animals kind of bastard but the attacking you randomly, puking where you'll stand in it, hissing at everyone and constant begging for food kind of bastard.

I got the name because there was a thread a while ago where everyone was talking about bastard cats and I was pretty certain that mine was the biggest one!

Of course we love him

ah i see,i actually will never have another cat as was puit off by the bastardness of my last one who did murder anyhing with a pulse.It was part of the Cheltenham cat Massive who reigned for some time.

I wondered actually if we should ask the exemouth if they'd do a buffet for us? What do you think?
It's just that I know from experience that nice we get drinking the need to go for a meal goes out the window!

Ledkr- I still LOVE you, I miss you loads. New job-massively stressful-you know what I'm like and I don't have contacts mobile number anymore as my phone was wiped when it went off to the menders. Yes I could ring you but when I get home, I know you don't like talking on the phone(either do I)

OK I've called the Exmouth and they can do us a buffet for £7.50 a head
We'd get chips, sandwiches that sort of thing

Now I'm happy to do a curry later, or I can organise a buffet so that we don't have to worry about going anywhere, we can get a table and drink and eat etc.

I'm really rubbish cos I really have no preference - it's a meal I neither have to prepare nor do the dishes for, so I'm happy either way!

Well, general consensus is that it would be easier to have a buffet there if we can get a good table. Although no-one really minds anything!

So, I'm going to get that booked, not sure if they'll want the money up front or on the night, but we can sort that. I'll book a buffet for 12, that way if someone can't make it it's not too much problem, and if we don't have enough they can always make some more.
