paddle!!!!!!!

yay!
welcome back, lovie.
sorry about your grandma, kora. even when expected, it's hard.
hope all poorly dcs getting better.
how are the ABs doing, kew?
all ok here, could do with a bit more quiet, tho, kids have had friends over every day since friday
that'll do for the year, surely...
always thought it was a myth and nurture vs nature and all that malarkey....but boys and girls really are different, you know..
boys' friends over: feed them large amounts, growl at them approx every 15 minutes to to tell them to get off roof/stop waving big sticks above their heads/stop half-killing each-other on the trampoline...then feed them again...repeat...
girl's friends over: much quieter, got to be said, but more hissy fits and delicate, tactful negotiations over dressing up box rage...sigh....and my dd is a tomboy!
and vbus and tilly, sfx..it is really hard when they feel left out at school and adjust to fickle evolving friendships.
i remember being gutted years ago when ds1 said:"...AND I sat on the friendship bench and no-one came to get me.."

ok, better go and clear up tip of a kitchen.
