Hello! Just survived first week back at work. Not too bad, nice to see people (and I can't remember who pointed out the going to the loo on your own thing, but it's truly a novel experience these days!). Have missed girls a bit (particularly baby DD as she's in bed by the time I get home usually), but mustn't grumble as very lucky, especially as I get to work from home on Fridays. Which is what I'm supposed to be doing now... Sigh, better get back to it. But hope you are all well and not suffering too many colds or too little cake.

I was wondering how you were getting on Kora. But sadly I have tonsilitis so won;t suggest coffee just yet!

Oh no, poor you, get well soon Kewcumber! I'd love to meet up for coffee when you're better. I'll be around Monday mornings. Right, must get back to the grindstone (must not let lunch break stretch too far while I'm working at home!). Hmm, I'll just get a coffee first...

Hope everyone well, and hope the Tonsilitised One is feeling better.

Nothing to report. Spent most of the day cooking for party tomorrow. Made chocolate honey meringue but somehow managed to forget the last egg white. Result: extremely sweet, even by meringue standard. Kids like it. Must check if they have any teeth left.

annoying I sound and look fine so am getting far too littel sympathy. Though talking so quietly all the time is beginning to freak DS out - artly because I only get very quiet when I am seriously cross with him. He keeps stroking my head and smiling nervously at me

I feel a million times better today - so went to kew this morning and swimming this afternoon and am buggered now!

KewC might just be tiredness and you will wake up feeling refreshed, at least I hope you do

dd is riding bike without stabilisers, I might borrow them as am not making much progress
very sporty day running bike riding and swimming
hopefully active again tomorrow as it is supposed to be sunny at some point and I want to be out for it

We also went swimming today which was great apart from having to wait 20mins to get into pool as it was at max capacity.

Stuck two hours on the road - bad accident at A30. I wish traffic website would say "road closed" rather than "police directing traffic". Harrumph.
