Geneva Meet-Up Thread. Anyone for wine and chocolate by the lake?

Thought that we could use a seperate thread to save us hijacking TML's thread with our Geneva chat.

Who is interested?

Assuming some of us still have young kids, we could meet during the day for glass of wine coffee somewhere child friendly, or a picnic? Botanical Gardens? Parc de Eaux Vives? Or nearer Nyon area. Depends where you all are.

Or do you want to get out sans enfants in the evenings?

Is that a question?

I am an expert on exhaustion. I may have cornered the market this week. Too stressed to sleep but too tired to accomplish anything that might relieve the stress...

I am stuck on MN.

I am avoiding getting ready for bed because brushing my teeth seems like too much effort.

I am enjoying this peaceful moment without children running around me. (We have borrowed an extra two for the week-end and spend the day with 10 children total...)

Dh snuck off to bed about an hour ago and I was not particularly tired...

I enjoy being dysfunctionally tired on Saturday morning...

No reason, really.

I am pleased to hear that your friend enjoyed it in Cambodia. I sure hope that we do. It was a difficult decision to make because dh was offered a fabulous post in New York City shortly after accepting this one but I really didn't fancy going back there. He has made an immense sacrifice to stick to the Cambodian plan...

(I suppose that guilt might be keeping me awake as well.)

Dh is expected on February 15th...

I just have to find replacement tenants, sell our vehicle, sort out the house, and arrange for the movers so that I can join him at some point.

Thankfully, the house ought to go quickly or so I have been lead to believe.

I'm heartbroken that you're leaving, Cadmum! A fellow Canuck, lost before she was found! We have to meet before you go. I'll try to be better by Tuesday (ds goes back to school - FINALLY - on Monday) and get down to Rive.

I gained a bit more chub over Xmas. Does anyone feel like doing WW with me? I can't face a no/low-carb diet in this weather.
