Glad to be of service Cali
Can't help otherwise unfortunately - the pill seems to deal with my period pains.

They didn't waste much time, did they? We used to have a lovely Easter Egg tree with lots of Polish eggs on it. My mum has a vast array of seasonal decorations - I think it must be a German thing (she's not German, just lives there)

Calm down Califrau . I'm not sure I know about the Walnut Incident but it certainly sounds as if you do need some supervision.

Now I'm feeling tempted to get a bit crafty with some eggs.

With good reason, I think. It's for your own good, Califrau.

(Suddenly is very glad she doesn't own a glue gun, due to the fact they are obviously more addictive than any drug out there)

You should get one, Dooney. You know you want to...

Man, I'm tired. Have you ever had one of those exhausting conversation days? Today Colin and I talked about family, marriage, death, divorce, women's lib and changing one's name. I tried to get him to understand how grandparents are mommy and daddy's parents, and he got that Grandma Lady was my mom, but somehow thought that meant my sister was DH's mom.

Then he got straightened out that Grandpa was DH's dad, and that should have meant Grandma Sande was DH's mom, but she wasn't, so we had to talk about how DH's mom was Grandma Putter who died, and that made him want to talk about his uncle (DH's brother) who died, and then we had to talk about divorce and what that means, since Grandma Sande isn't DH's mom.

Then I had to straighten him out that not all mommies stay home while daddy goes to work, and mommy used to go to work. (According to him I used to work in Alaska when I was 7) Then it was no, you can't marry your sister, you will have to marry someone else. Finally, he wants to change his name to Trash Can when he gets older and rename Caitlin "Mary Googie".

dooneygirl · 16/02/2008 02:31

That link kills me, Cali, because my romantic nickname for DH is bucket.

GreatGooglyMoogly · 16/02/2008 23:56

I sympathise and empathise dooney, ds1 is like that too. He knows we are moving back to the UK later this year and this leads to lots of questions about what we we will take/ leave, where we will live, what car we will have, what school he will go to, whether I will work or not, etc!

GreatGooglyMoogly · 16/02/2008 23:57

Cali, pray tell what is the walnut incident? [nosey emoticon]
