Photos to email would be great, can you enlighten on me how to get my contact details to you. Actually it turns out that the 10/10 thing is not so different to how I eat any how, but I have to vary it depending on how my system's reacting, so don't think the club is a good plan for me. I am keeping a food diary at the moment to try and find a pattern in my stress/food/symptoms. I am convinced it's IBS but am 'doing the right thing' in getting a diagnosis.
Know what you mean about SAHM syndrome, I am so gagging for the beach and the weathers crap. Did you manage to get a gym sorted?

OP posts:
Papillon · 28/09/2006 08:17

can´t see anything in my hotmail????

your ds needs for summer to warm him up and chase away all those winter chills.

Did not join the gym I looked at, was hoping to get away with doing some child minding there so don´t have to pay sub, but its not happening. Really hope I can start doing yoga. So hard when dh works so much though.

Papillon · 28/09/2006 08:27

All is very good, have cousin who have not seen for 7 years! visiting with her man atm. And was dh birthday yesterday - had a birthday bash for him last night with some friends who came over as well.

So good family kiwi soul food in our house of love

How you doing?

kjaysmum · 10/10/2006 07:08

Hiya, sounds like you get plenty of visiters, must be lovely.
My cousin was supposed to be coming over with her dh and their little boy, 3 years old, but sounds as though her dh has lost his job so having to cancel, such a shame, still I'm not going anywhere so there's plenty of time for my relies to get it together and come over, can't wait to show off where I live!!
I am so nearly a resident now, I had a letter saying it has been approved in priciple but just have to give them another 300 bucks in migrant tax, whatever that means, good job this country is well worth all this expense!!
It's still kind of crazy weather, spring and really warm one minute then tons of rain and cold southerly blasts with snow on the ranges, my garden is doing well though so can't be that cold.

Hi Paps, thanks for the bump on the other thread, that was a really strange and shocking reaction ds had, he's much better today although still has one nasty angry painful sore, I'm wondering if it's connected to his past problem as that still flares up from time to time. Have given him an oatmeal bath and am bathing sore bits with chamomile tea, st johns wart and plantain, seems to help lots.
Ds has been responding very well to having his boarders brought in a bit and giving him less choices, tantrums have all but dissapeared but his latest expression is NO WAY, which I can't help giggling behind my had to!
I have a delightful day lined up, not! doing prep for hospital tomorrow, yuk yuk yuk say no more
Hope your having fun and you and yours are fit and healthy now x

Hey P what you up to?

Hi Finally I can come on the computer. It was a hot seat in the house while all the relatives stayed, so I decided to not go near the computer while they were about and enjoy my time with them. As well as sister being here had cousin and her boyfriend so was a full and busy household.

Sister flew home yesterday and I am feeling quite sad. But only 3 months till I come over which is NOT long now!!!

How did the hospital visit go? Bummer I have not been around more to support you. Glad to hear ds is doing alot better and No Way sounds Way Cute

Turning into a fab day here so once the kids are awake I am off outside.

kjaysmum · 18/10/2006 07:53

Hi papillon, nice to have you back . Have been getting some nice support off a colonoscopy thread, good ol' mumsnet! so don't worry. Looking good, they didn't find anything too serious but still waiting for the biopsy to come back.

Sounds like you've been having a nice time with your visitors, must have been difficult saying goodbye to your Sis, but as you say not long till you come here now.

Ds has done two mornings now being left at a lovely little daycare centre, and it seems to have done us both the power of good, he's taking it very well.

And best of all Papillon as of yesterday I am a New Zealand Resident!!! Yippeeeeeeeee

Congratulations on becoming a residential kiwi! Well done - that might make you feel abit more settled in

When are your results ready?

Have to organise dd 3rd birthday party this week - its on the 29th and no invites out yet.

kjaysmum · 23/10/2006 04:18

hiya, just back from the big smoke, we spent the long weekend down at dp's folks, lovely fun, went out for a Japanese meal, yum. Weather still grim though brrrr and wet.

Will get results next week sometime.

3rd birthday party hey, good luck with it, are you inviting many, she'll be so much more aware of what it's all about at three won't she, ahh bet she'll love it.

OP posts:
Papillon · 23/10/2006 07:15

Weather usually remains abit shifty till December, and I have seen both rain and 34C on Xmas day in NZ.

Yes dd is very excited about being birthday girl She also has 2 mates with birthdays either side of hers - so its all balloons and candles. We have given her a battery operated dog which understands commands, but doesn´t walk - still she loves him. He likes his plastic dog bone and being told to howl

Went to Deepavali party yesterday and ate lots of good food.

kjaysmum · 24/10/2006 08:05

Sorry to go on about the weather, but this is getting silly, we are having extreme storms at the moment, gale force winds and torrential rain, apparently blue skies in Auckland and I thought this was the sunshine coast....hmmmmmm.

Ds went to daycare again today, he seems to be getting better at it, but still insists watching all the kids from the security of his buggy and coming out for a play every now and again but they say he's getting out more and more so it's only a matter of time. I think he'll love it when he gets used to it.

Woof woof!! ahhh cute

Is Deepavali another name for Diwelai or something different?

OP posts:
Papillon · 24/10/2006 08:27

diwali yes

saw on the news the terrible weather, you have every excuse to moan NZ being an isle does get windy wet weather. Move to the Hawkes Bay, much drier.

Great to hear your ds is becoming confident at playgroup, its all small steps - dd managed 2 hours without me at a playgroup last friday!!

kjaysmum · 27/10/2006 06:36

It's good to have the extra time isn't it, i suppose in your case it's time for you and your ds, I hope Kane gets used to it soon, if only I could explain he's in a win win situation with daycare, as can get all the boring stuff done whilst he's off playing and then he gets quality time with me afterwards, I'm sure he'll figure that out for himself soon.

Papillon · 30/10/2006 08:05

vvvvvery tired today after huge birthday blowout for dd (3) What a great day we all had Twas magical.

Still gettting over my cold and hardly sleeping except to get in afew dreams. Think I need a baby routine for myself?!

How was your weekend?

kjaysmum · 31/10/2006 00:30

I'm so happy your dd's birthday went well, many conglatulations, I'm not surprised your exhuasted, hope you manage to catch up soon.
Things good here, lovely sunny day here on Saturday so dp actually managed to get the lawns mowed, it was like a jungle, nice but not exactly in the tenancy agreement!! Sunday was a wash out so just chilled.
Have you got your flights booked yet hope you managed to get the one's you wanted.

OP posts:
PyroPaps · 03/11/2006 07:58

flights are booked and paid for What a mission that was...

Have not caught up from last weekend and have rekindled my cold, ds seems to getting another tooth and temps have plummeted... brrrr - our appartment is south facing and often does feel so cosy and we have to wrap up.

Have a farewell knees up tonite and bonfire night party tomorrow night... eeek have been looking forward to all this, wish I was not so knackered. Have slept better the last 2 nights rather than being awake from 3am onwards!

I enjoyed the image of your dp pushing and shoving a lawnmower round 5 foot grass jungle

how you like my bonfire night name?

kjaysmum · 07/11/2006 07:29

well pyro hope you managed to summon up some energy for your partying, sounds like your burning your roman candle and both ends, ouch sorry.

great you got your tickets when are you incoming? Did you get a decent stopover with your bro?

yeah the garden was v.funny but funnier still was ds mimicking dp with his buggy, so cute

OP posts:
PyroPaps · 07/11/2006 08:32

well you be right about my snuffed candles - did not manage bonfire night and stayed in bed all Sunday. Feeling abit more human now.

I am with my bro for about 6 nights in total. Think I get into NZ about 16th January. Fly out of here on the 10th. Will be flying down to the Bay to the whanau. Will give you a ring once I settle in Do you need to plan holidays in advance or can you take off when you want with the business?

You can probably buy plastic lawnmowers at the wharehouse
