BehindLockNumberNine · 18/04/2014 16:53

You are NOT alone Biscuits, the walls of your room are bulging because of all of us mumsnetters squashed in there. Look, over there, next to the window. See the tall, heavy set woman with the rather out of date hair-do and the goofy glasses? That's me, right here with you xx

SayCoolNowSayWhip · 18/04/2014 22:11

You're not alone Biscuits, so many people are thinking of you. Hope you're managing to get some sleep.

NationMcKinley · 18/04/2014 22:15

And I'm the slightly chubby helped along blonde, also with glasses and probably talking too much. See? We're all here, linking arms and supporting you through this. My lovely friend has breast cancer at the moment. We've renamed it cuntcer as we're foul of mouth Wink. Keep talking to us if it helps xxx

yegodsandlittlefishes · 18/04/2014 22:41

Yes, see the short, rotund pink woman in a crumpled dress with long frizzy greying hair and blue goofy glasses? That one's me. Actually you can't see me because I'm always hiding behind someone taller. Grin

goofygoober · 18/04/2014 22:46

Lol at cuntcer Nation, one of my dearest is going through it too, she will roar at this, as we are all classy ladies wot swear to each other too.

IwishIwasmoreorganised · 18/04/2014 23:30

Another one here for you biscuits

I'm the one who got sunburnt shoulders the other day - they're peeling now so I'm easy to spot.

The stats sound scarey, but they're not about you. They're about other people.

Hope that you get some rest tonight.

Xxx

affafantoosh · 18/04/2014 23:53

Biscuits ... you hang on in there now. You've got to get your head down and plough through this for your children. You can fight it and you will fight it and we'll be with you all the way x

butterfliesinmytummy · 19/04/2014 00:29

Morning biscuits. Been thinking of you all night. You are not alone, we are all here and happy to do anything to help.

Panicmode1 · 19/04/2014 06:56

Joining the MN 'rabble' here to support you. What a shock for you and your family. If you are near West Kent, then I am more than happy to help in any way. I have four children (3 of them boys) so if your DH needs help with getting them out, they are more than welcome to join my daily "tire the boys out' walks! Thinking of you and sending love and prayers.

biscuitsandbandages · 19/04/2014 07:52

Thank you everyone.
Im sure this thread feels very boring aa I have lottle to update except my moans and worries but in thr middle of the night its where I go to feel there are people there.

Today some bad news for me in that my youngest son is sick. Hopefully he will be fine with daddy cuddles on the sofa but it means none of them can visit me today. My husband has asked my brother to come so I wont be alone all day but this will be the e first day I have not kissed my baby girl xx

saffronwblue · 19/04/2014 08:05

Oh that is tough biscuits. Your arms must be longing to hold them. Hope you have some nice time with your DBro.

YouDoVooDoo · 19/04/2014 08:08

Morning biscuits!

Sorry to hear your DS isn't well, what terrible timing. Hopefully it will just be a quick passing thing and you can get back to dc cuddling and baby girl kissing soon. I can't imagine how difficult it is being parted from them.

What will you do today apart from your brother visiting? You do realise don't you that there are dozens of Mumsnetters on the sidelines waiting to visit if you need distracting by a well meaning stranger Easter Smile

Dragonvale, tiny zoo or Smurfs are both very simple game apps where you have to build worlds, grow crops or breed dragons, sounds silly but you can waste a lot of time on them if you want to do something but not need to use your brain. I know when you are feeling crap even reading requires too much concentration. Jabbing at a screen is manageable.

Anyway I hope you enjoy seeing your brother and most importantly that he brings chocolate. Take care Biscuits.

Ps Out of interest - if you were a biscuit what sort would you be? (See if MNHQ can ask David Cameron about biscuit preferences I don't see why I can't ask you Easter Smile)

Aboyandabunny · 19/04/2014 08:15

Hi Biscuits, sorry to hear your little one is sick and wont be in today. In the meantime hope you enjoy your visit with DB and let us know what we can do to help a little bit.

Only1scoop · 19/04/2014 08:16

Morning Biscuits....sad to hear your ds poorly. Tough day not to see them but nice to see your brother. I'll be doing a virtual visit visit today to make up the numbers....look out for me arriving .....ill bring an enormous biscuit selection and huge hugs....

Thinking of you and your wonderful family.

Spinaroo · 19/04/2014 08:19

I have just seen this and can't imagine the shock! I too will join the rabble so you always have someone to talk to when you log in.

Misfitless · 19/04/2014 08:22

Hi Biscuits.

Nothing to say except that I am praying for you and your family and you are all in my thoughts every day.

SO, so sorry to hear that your little boy is sick, and that this means they can't visit.

Can I just ask, if your DH is aware of this thread? Does he know, that he too can call on any of us (especially those who have said they are near to you,) for practical help?
