Is it going to be OK to talk about being a Poly here? (FFMM quad with children).

I got sucked into a thread elsewhere in Mumsnet but it didn't seem to be going anywhere, in fact it got quite nasty.

It isn't clear to a newbie like me where more unusual lifestyles get discussed

actually id quite like an extra wife myself- someone to do the ironing and bog-cleaning and child de-lousing would be very nice ....
not sure about the shagging my DH though .... .as long as the other wife was very unatractive in a russan-female-shot-putter-complete-with mustash-and-sideburns kind of way i could live with it

drlove8 · 31/08/2009 13:07

good gawd my spelling is awful..... should have spent more time in school and not bunking off with the class hottie >

GoldenSnitch · 31/08/2009 14:24

Ooh, what if all the in-laws are Poly's too!! Then you'd have co-MIL's too!!

TheDMshouldbeRivened · 31/08/2009 14:26

wouldn't mind another wife to do the shagging too. I could sit around and watch telly

expatinscotland · 31/08/2009 14:40

i wouldn't mind another husband to send out to work to bring me more money to spend .

TheDMshouldbeRivened · 31/08/2009 14:51

but you'd have to 'service' 2 of them. And two lots of stinky socks

Quattrocento · 31/08/2009 14:57

LOL at UQD. My school had two quads. That must be extra bizarre. Should I sell my story to the DM?

UnquietDad · 31/08/2009 15:25

Was that a bi-quad then??!

Mumcentreplus · 31/08/2009 15:39

An extra DH would be cool..actually a few would be quite good..1 for DIY,a Rich one,1 who likes to tidy..1 to rub me corns...sorry no extra DW...I could only cope with a Male Hareem

weegiemum · 31/08/2009 15:46

So extended, who started the thread on how we should all be thankful for our mother-in-laws because hers was dead, was a troll?

I found that thread quite upsetting as I am having a hard time with my MIL right now.

This is the first time in 7 years on MN that I have been pulled into somthing like that - what a nasty taste in the mouth it leaves

expatinscotland · 31/08/2009 16:27

That's about the sum of it, weegiemum. Then he/she/it jumped into another thread about not wanting to be groped by one's partner, pointing out that the OP should be grateful rather than angry at her husband and how not wanting groped is an impediment to spontaneous sexual activity.

Then claimed to have been conducting a sort of sociological experiment rather than just being your standard, run-of-the-mill troll.

He/she/it and several other personages it was using then flouned.

Or so we thought.

But, alas, school hasn't started down in England until tomorrow so it wasn't done yet, apparently.

expatinscotland · 31/08/2009 16:31

Oh, it also called me a Puritan, which I found incredibly funny. I waited for a bolt of lightning to strike the troll, in fact, so far from the truth it was .

weegiemum · 31/08/2009 16:58

You, a Puritan expat
