Is it going to be OK to talk about being a Poly here? (FFMM quad with children).

I got sucked into a thread elsewhere in Mumsnet but it didn't seem to be going anywhere, in fact it got quite nasty.

It isn't clear to a newbie like me where more unusual lifestyles get discussed

OP posts:

Why is this convo in larger families? I have 3 DC, but do not feel it is a 'larger' family.

IAm A Poly- you draw attention to your lifestyle but then ignore questions about it....just wondering why?

Perhaps you should start a thread seperately?
Just a thought...or if you are struggling on here, as someone else suggested, a specific poly forum?

BitOfFun · 30/08/2009 13:40

I am a rabid S&M enthusiast- may I talk about it here please?

jeminthepantry · 30/08/2009 13:40

Yeah I agree Bof....

Mamazon · 30/08/2009 13:42

yes im getting frustrated at the lack of answers. Im aware it is a little nosey but since you are seemingly quite proud of your lifestyle and comfortable with it, hence your name.

and yet you ignore any questions inquiring as to how it all works.

jeminthepantry · 30/08/2009 13:43

BoF- how many DC do you have, we are in the larger families section you know

Mamazon · 30/08/2009 13:43

may as well BoF - you go on about it everywhere else

drlove8 · 30/08/2009 13:45

troll? , someones been watching "big love" i think .

ShowOfHands · 30/08/2009 13:45

I'm into D/s, can we talk about that too.

Gosh, on a Sunday too.

BitOfFun · 30/08/2009 13:46

I don't want to bang on about that aspect of it actually Mamazon- I am more interested in receiving tips on buckle polish etc.

Perhaps I should have posted in Housekeeping?

Still, I guess if Larger Families is a good place for three kids, I can stay here I suppose

drlove8 · 30/08/2009 13:47

bitoffun i think you can be classed as an honary kid so that gives you 4 , so you can stay

hocuspontas · 30/08/2009 13:48

She said herself she's a newbie. She doesn't know that 'larger families' on here means children. Her family is a large family because it has 4 adults. That's the reason she's posted in this section.

expatinscotland · 30/08/2009 13:49

I have three kids, too, but I'm here just to beat BOF because she likes it.

jeminthepantry · 30/08/2009 13:49

Hmm, I dunno.

Oh BoF you ARE naughty.

drlove8 · 30/08/2009 13:50

`suppose ,technically it is a big family then, - just still think troll

BitOfFun · 30/08/2009 13:50

So, silver brasso then? Or just a soft lint cloth? And what do I use to polish DP's helmet?

drlove8 · 30/08/2009 13:50

have we scared the op away? oops

Mamazon · 30/08/2009 13:51

drlove8 · 30/08/2009 13:51

spit and shine BOF

ShowOfHands · 30/08/2009 13:51

OP if you want to ask about cleaning rotas ask about cleaning rotas, if you want to ask about empty nests, ask about empty nests. If you want to talk about sexual proclivities we'll see you here next Friday at Wine o'clock.

BitOfFun · 30/08/2009 13:52

Holes or zips, Shiney?

expatinscotland · 30/08/2009 13:53

Shineon and BOF and I are triplet sisters, too. We're FFF but we like to beat one another in gimp masks.

Can we have our own section?

drlove8 · 30/08/2009 13:53

MAMAZON you a foot taller than me ! a whole foot!
