Hiya I'm new to this like literally just downloaded the app 5mins ago 😬 but I wanted to see how many big families are out there and when I searched it on here so many negative comments it shocked me! I'd like to chat with mums 4 or more ☺️

@gracex4

Why should I not have 1 child when you have 4 or 5? Wouldn't it be better for us to have 2 each? It is only overcrowded because of families like yours. I'm not the one that needs to make the changes.

@Wolfgirrl we haven’t ‘made our decisions so have to stand by them’ we wanted big families and didn’t really care about the environment when we chose to do it.

Mesmeri · 01/06/2020 21:52

You know, I thought I was done at 4, but after this chat I reckon I need to have at least another 3.

12345ct · 01/06/2020 21:52

Wolfgirrl why are you commenting when nobody cares what you think at all. Are you lonely and need someone to interact with? It's embarrassing!

okiedokieme · 01/06/2020 21:53

The problem isn't larger families got most people, it's larger families and benefits/public services. Thee Ed majority of larger families I've met in real life are not working and there's multiple dads. The other issue is that circumstances change, I found myself a single mum and goodness knows how I would have coped if I had more kids.

OtterBe4 · 01/06/2020 21:54

@mesmeri
Quads would be perfect!

gracex4 · 01/06/2020 21:54

I'd smash it on my own like a super single mum if that ever happened I feel your points really judgy

My husband has a very well paid job. We have 3 homes. The kids are well cared for. I work from home.

EsmaeDe · 01/06/2020 21:55

@gracex4 I was a single mum for 1e years. I could do it again in a heart beat!

Wolfgirrl · 01/06/2020 21:56

Yeah I'd noticed that.

My husband has a very well paid job. We have 3 homes. The kids are well cared for. I work from home.

Doesnt change the environmental impact although I suppose it is better than not working or relying on the state.

OtterBe4 · 01/06/2020 21:56

@okiedokieme

Plenty posh folk have 3/4/5 kids.

gracex4 · 01/06/2020 21:56

My husband has a good business I have a small business I run from home and get this..... I'm the manger of a care home looking after elderly that don't have any family to look after them!!!!!!!

OP posts:
Mesmeri · 01/06/2020 21:56

You know, I always thought that too, Otter.

EsmaeDe · 01/06/2020 21:57

I didn’t mean that post to sound snooty just can’t stand when people assume everyone is on benefits! So what if they are? I was on benefits for 3 years and I’m not ashamed of it! But now I’m in a better situation

gracex4 · 01/06/2020 21:58

If some of my residents had children they would have a much better EOL

I know. I'm part of a huge catholic family, I'm used to households that make all of yours look small. 5 or 6 was pretty average. Small was 3 and big was 10+.

But - that isnt an excuse for me to carry on the trend. It isnt an identity, it is a lifestyle choice. It impacts other people, and I care about other people as well as just myself.

Wolfgirrl · 01/06/2020 22:02

Yep, more insult the person as you dont have a leg to stand on Grin
