Hi all,

Thought I’d start this thread early so we can all get to know each other šŸ‘‹

My story so far -

  • Been TTC since Sep 2022
  • Very low AMH/AFC and MFI
  • 38 (me), 40 (OH)
  • This will be our 4th egg collection since November 2024

1st EC - no fertilisation
2nd EC - no fertilisation
3rd EC - 3 embryos ā¤ļøā¤ļøā¤ļø

  • 1st transfer fresh - BFP(!) but sadly miscarried at 7+2. Two days after we saw our miracles heart beat.
  • 2nd transfer FET - cancelled. Lining too thing.
  • 3rd transfer FET - BFN
  • 4th transfer FET - BFN

What a journey! But I can’t give up, just yet. Our plan is to mimic the EC 3 and then PGTA test any embryos we are fortunate to get.

Currently on 28 days of growth hormone injections, DHEA and OVUM

Hi @PlanBFertility26!
Thank you for starting this thread. I'm due due to start a cycle in April too. I had two failed cycles last year (didn't manage to get any mature eggs), so I'm not feeling too hopeful, but me and my partner wanted to try one last time so at least we could feel we did everything we could. We've changed clinics and this new clinic seems willing to throw everything at it. We're both in our early 40s and my AMH is low, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed šŸ¤ž

It sounds like you've been through quite a journey - hopefully this cycle will be the one šŸ™How are you finding the DHEA? Our clinic has prescribed this too and I'm feeling a bit apprehensive as I've read that it can have some bad side effects.

PlanBFertility26 · 13/03/2026 07:34

Hi @SnowDrops26

I feel fine on DHEA, never noticed any signs to it anyway

Im really hoping your new clinic helps you get some mature eggs. Its heartbreaking when the cycle ends so soon and you’re not even given the opportunity to get to transfer.

Hi,
I think im an April cycle? This is my first time so its all very new to me, been ttc baby number 2 for about 6years I think, my eldest is now 9, we were going to go for ivf a couple years ago but I was under a lot of stress and we were planning our wedding so put it off so here we are now. Husband has low sperm count so we are going for icsi.

i started my synarel down regulation nasal spray on Tuesday and start my injections beginning of April! Feeling very apprehensive but glad to be here.

OneGladOtter · 15/03/2026 12:24

Hey!!! I am hoping to be a part of this group …. 1st fresh failed unfortunately in Feb and currently waiting for my follow up appointment (8 week waiting list) so I am kinda in no man’s land atm. Don’t really no what’s next right now so any info I would be super grateful to hear xx

PlanBFertility26 · 15/03/2026 16:05

The waiting is definitely the hardest in IVF. Waiting and hope. Thats what I’ve struggled with the most.

It’s so true, I thought the injections were going to be the hardest part but 100% the waiting

Thank you šŸ™‚And that's good to hear about the DHEA. Fingers crossed for everyone for this cycle! The waiting is definitely the worst

Hey all, thanks for setting this up @PlanBFertility26. Fingers crossed for everyone ✨

Hopefully starting my first cycle and injections on Sunday, got all the medication at home. Feeling very nervous and agree about the waiting feeling so hard, feels like our life has been on hold for years

PlanBFertility26 · 17/03/2026 22:49

Hello. I recognise a few names here from previous threads I’ve read.

I’m going for a FET in April cycle after a failed fresh transfer in February.

it’s my first frozen and I’m still debating natural or medicated but swaying towards medicated for the certainty of dates as I’m a bit of a stressor. My darkest line on OTK was around day 18 which is unusually late for me and I don’t know if it was due to the medication taken last month or what.

i have a 5AA and a 4BB so if medicated doesn’t work this time then I will try natural the time after, it’s just which way around to do it to work out.

I have a strong feeling it’s due to egg quality as I’m 38 and don’t have the healthiest 20s however my clinic hasn’t mentioned PGA testing so not sure if they actually offer it - I’ve only heard about it through these forums. I will need to ask them

all the best wishes for everyone on this tough journey!!! ✨

Pregnant4456 · 20/03/2026 18:13

Could I join please? Not a fresh round of IVF but our first frozen transfer round - transferring a PGT tested embryo which I am finding is just putting my hopes up in it working.

Doing IVF as I have had multiple ectopics and sadly don’t have any tubes left. We are trying for our second child. DS is 3 but thinks he is 14 lol.

Due on my period on 2nd/3rd April. We will be doing a natural modified cycle with Letrozole at the beginning of the cycle to help me ovulate at a more appropriate time!

We did our round of IVF back at the end of January/beginning of Feb so happy to help if anyone has any questions also. Sadly the fresh transfer didn’t work.

Best of luck to all. The waiting is the worst bit - my first cycle after egg collection is going to be 6 weeks long so I have found the wait to start or FET round hard! Xx

Thank you 😊! Due to take fourth day of injections tonight and had first monitoring scan today, feeling a bit worried about the number/growth of follicles but trying to not panic. Has anyone else started treatment yet?

PlanBFertility26 · 24/03/2026 21:39

Hi @Bubbles14
What about the values worried you?
I’m still plodding along in my month of growth hormones injections and DHEA prior to stims.
Tomorrow would have been the estimate due date for my first ever BFP that we lost. Making this journey seem even more impossible tonight.

Sending love to everyone

Hi everyone! Now I got confirmation that my prescription is with Stork and it will be delivered on time I can join (was holding off just in case!)

This will be our second round - first gave us 7 eggs that led to 5 blasts but unfortunately they were all genetically abnormal after PGT-SR and PGT-A which was devastating. So we go again, 2 more rounds left on our funding x

PlanBFertility26 · 25/03/2026 12:22

@Moosey898 that must have been devastating! May I ask how old you are?

Yeah it was pretty awful - I'm 37. Started TTC when I was 27 with my ex for 2.5 years but miscarried. We split up, had about 2.5 years no TTC during which I met my now partner and we've been trying 3.5 years with 3 missed miscarriages and a neonatal death at 22 weeks (they had to induce because I had an infection that could have been really bad for me and wasn't responding to IV antibiotics). So it's been a hell of a journey so far. Oh and I was diagnosed with chromosome translocations in December 2024 after recurrent miscarriage testing hence the PGT-SR xx

PlanBFertility26 · 27/03/2026 20:57

@Moosey898 sorry for slow reply.
SO sorry to read what you’ve been through. This journey is not for the faint hearted.

Thank you. It's definitely not!
I started spotting today so looks like CD1 should be on track tomorrow, so stims hopefully starting Monday. Back to it!xx

PlanBFertility26 · 28/03/2026 20:32

I’m CD 23 but having some small amounts of brown spotting. Period never usually comes until CD 27-30. Clinic are just saying wait and see šŸ¤¦šŸ¼ā€ā™€ļø

First ivf cycle going to start on a few days. Just waiting on my period now to start injections. Have high amh but still planning for two cycles at least don’t want to be too hopeful. Doing icsi zymote and pgta testing

PlanBFertility26 · 30/03/2026 14:17

First day of stims yesterday for my second round. Not sure how I feel about it all. Mentally already preparing what the dates would be for my third round šŸ¤¦šŸ¼ā€ā™€ļøguess that's just my brain trying to protect itself.
