Hi all,

Thought I’d start this thread early so we can all get to know each other 👋

My story so far -

• Been TTC since Sep 2022
• Very low AMH/AFC and MFI
• 38 (me), 40 (OH)
• This will be our 4th egg collection since November 2024

1st EC - no fertilisation
2nd EC - no fertilisation
3rd EC - 3 embryos ❤️❤️❤️

• 1st transfer fresh - BFP(!) but sadly miscarried at 7+2. Two days after we saw our miracles heart beat.
• 2nd transfer FET - cancelled. Lining too thing.
• 3rd transfer FET - BFN
• 4th transfer FET - BFN

What a journey! But I can’t give up, just yet. Our plan is to mimic the EC 3 and then PGTA test any embryos we are fortunate to get.

Currently on 28 days of growth hormone injections, DHEA and OVUM

I think we're both exactly the same day, I'll be on day 8 of stims tomorrow too!

Scan today, they didn’t tell me how many follicles I have but just said there wasn’t much happening at the moment.. so maybe I don’t have any? I have no idea.. I should have asked 🫣 but they’ve increased my dose and next scan is Tuesday, they done a hormone level today too, said with my amh which is 14 that i definitely should see some response so fingers crossed the higher dose helps

Thank you 😊 I got 7 eggs last time, 6 fertilized and got 5 blasts (sadly none genetically normal though). If I can get the same blast rate that would be incredible but I'm trying not to expect it because I know it was way higher than usual x

Scan all done, waiting on bloods.

Today’s scan showed -
Left x 2 both 18
Right x 7 - 5, 8, 11, 11, 11, 11 and 17

Hoping my 11s catch up

Had my scan too - looks like Monday for EC, just waiting for clinic to call and confirm, and also confirm trigger time etc x

Sorry to hear that there weren't any that you could use last time around, that's an excellent number of blasts though, so keeping everything crossed you get a good number on Monday!

Looks like EC Wednesday for me, around 22 folicules in total but quite a lot less than 10, biggest is only 14 but growing quite equally which I've been told is good. Have to keep a close eye on the smaller ones to make sure I don't end up with OHSS, otherwise I may end up with a freeze all cycle again and further delays 😥

Triggering tonight. Don’t feel I have enough follicles but here’s hoping.

Clinic have told me to take higher stim dose tonight along with my double trigger.

Heres hoping for a miracle.

EC booked for tomorrow, took my trigger last night so a day injection free for today! Worried about OHSS, they gave me a different trigger this time but said I was borderline so not sure how I'm going to be after EC now..

4 of the 5 have fertilised

Hopefully they're all developing well! Have you had any updates?

I had my retrieval yesterday, was one of the worst experiences. The sedation didn't work anywhere near as well as last time and remember it all, very very painful!

13 eggs collected, 10 mature and 9 fertilised with ICSI. We had a big drop off at day 3 last time, but this time won't get an update till day 5 which feels like ages away!

@Rosemary121 oh you poor thing, that sounds horrible! Amazing numbers, well done!

From the 4 fertilised, we still have 4 at day 3.
2 are at 8 cells
1 is at 16 cells
1 had some abnormal division but is still plodding along so isn’t out the game yet.

Had my 3rd scan yesterday,
right - 19,19,19,17,17
left - 24,20,20,19

Took my trigger last night with EC scheduled for tomorrow morning, feeling quite nervous now this morning 🙈

Best of luck with EC I’ll be dying to hear how you get on as mine is scheduled for next week too and I’m so nervous as I’ve never been under sedation or had any type of surgery. Those numbers look good for you👍

All being biopsied and being sent to lab for PGTA 🥰⭐

They cancelled my last scan and replaced it with EC on Wednesday. Hav 25 plus follicles on each ovary so obviously worried about OHSS so being out on antibiotic etc very nervous as wasn’t expecting things to move so fast now this wee

EC was yesterday, sedation worked great, I don’t remember a thing.. we got 8 eggs collected and I’ve just spoke to them this morning and from the 8 we got 7 fertilised.. feeling very emotional, now have to wait til Thursday for the next update
