Thought I’d start this thread early so we can all get to know each other 👋

My story so far -

• Been TTC since Sep 2022
• Very low AMH/AFC and MFI
• 38 (me), 40 (OH)
• This will be our 4th egg collection since November 2024

1st EC - no fertilisation
2nd EC - no fertilisation
3rd EC - 3 embryos ❤️❤️❤️

• 1st transfer fresh - BFP(!) but sadly miscarried at 7+2. Two days after we saw our miracles heart beat.
• 2nd transfer FET - cancelled. Lining too thing.
• 3rd transfer FET - BFN
• 4th transfer FET - BFN

What a journey! But I can’t give up, just yet. Our plan is to mimic the EC 3 and then PGTA test any embryos we are fortunate to get.

Currently on 28 days of growth hormone injections, DHEA and OVUM

Hi all.
just had baseline scan after 28 days on growth hormone. Just waiting on bloods to see if good to go. 6 follicles, likely to lose one as already at 10mm. Absolutely gutted. We had 12 at baseline last year. Consultant thinks last cycle I was just super lucky as AMH of 1.9. Feel like calling it a day already 😭

Hi all, had my embryo transfer x2 on Monday so I’m day 4 post today. Nothing in the freezer from this cycle unfortunately. I’ve tested already twice today and got negative (I know it’s too early I just really want a sign!!).
overall so so tired from the progesterone. Have my blood test on the 8th.
Baby dust to us all! Xx

Good luck! I had 2 negative first response tests on 4 days past transfer (one in the am and then pm) and then they were positive on day 5 on my successful cycle so hopefully you’ve just tested a little early! Hopefully it’ll start to show something tomorrow.
I have my transfer on Tuesday .. fellow early tester 🙋🏼‍♀️

Hi all, starting my injections tonight, first cycle so a bit apprehensive, been on nasal spray for down regulation for 3 weeks now, only side effect appears to be exhaustion so far.

you’re doing great by the sounds of it. First cycle carries a lot of unknowns about drugs and side effects etc. I found it helpful to talk in the phone during my injections! Whatever distraction works for you might help. Good luck xx

Day 6 of stims for me today on my second cycle. First monitoring scan on Monday. I've changed up all my supplements etc so will be interesting to see if it's had any impact on things. Trying not to get my hopes up.

@Moosey898 good luck. I think I was reading your thread from your last round. How are you feeling?

Honestly expecting it to fail like last time. We get 3 rounds funded though, and after that our journey is over, so I'll be seeing those 3 rounds through no matter what (this is no2). I can't be left with any what ifs xx

I understand the feeling. We’ve been private from day 1. I’m very fortunate in being able to afford it so far but this will more than likely be our last chance as I’ve run out of funds and OH is mentally done.

What time is your scan on Monday? X

Made an IVf shrine so I can try make injection time self care time too!

1st injection done last night, injection itself was fine, my friend was round so that helped just for the 1st one as OH is a chef so working long hours all over the easter weekend so he won’t be here for the first few 🙈

@LRS2016 congrats on starting. How are you feeling?

Im dreading my scan tomorrow and already questioning if I should cancel this cycle. Urgh it’s so hard.

With you on dreading the scan tomorrow! Day 8 of stims for me, can't shake the feeling it'll be worse than last round. 😔 Not sure how much more my heart can take.

My baseline only showed 6 follicles, one of which may lose. Last year was 12 and from that managed 7 eggs, 3 blasts. Worried this will result in even fewer eggs and with PGTA testing end up with nothing.

@PlanBFertility26 im feeling okay at the minute, a little bit of cramping but doing okay.

This is my one and only funded cycle so I’m very apprehensive, my first scan is on Thursday so just trying not to overthink too much 🙈

@PlanBFertility26 I was disappointed with my 7 follicles on my latest round, but I ended up with 4 blastocysts, so my most successful round. Try to keep positive.

@Umbrellaladi how is the testing going? I'm a day behind you, 6dp5dt today, and not planning on testing until next weekend.

@hollyhd thanks for asking…..I did another test this morning-negative. I’ve ordered a First Response (2 pack) test today.

everything for this round has topped up my credit cards and I got nothing to freeze so I’m now wondering if I should look at embryo adoption in Spain as it’s cheaper and I really can’t afford even that but I do want a sibling for my toddler. This round was to give him a genetic sibling.

It’s overwhelming me.

I have everything crossed for you and all of us testing. Easter symbolizes new life and I still hope that this new life will come to fruition. Xxx

@PlanBFertility26 how did your scan go?

@Moosey898 Ive recruited two more follicles so 8 in total. Another scan in 2 days

Just tested with FR and negative xx
