Thought I’d start this thread early so we can all get to know each other 👋

My story so far -

• Been TTC since Sep 2022
• Very low AMH/AFC and MFI
• 38 (me), 40 (OH)
• This will be our 4th egg collection since November 2024

1st EC - no fertilisation
2nd EC - no fertilisation
3rd EC - 3 embryos ❤️❤️❤️

• 1st transfer fresh - BFP(!) but sadly miscarried at 7+2. Two days after we saw our miracles heart beat.
• 2nd transfer FET - cancelled. Lining too thing.
• 3rd transfer FET - BFN
• 4th transfer FET - BFN

What a journey! But I can’t give up, just yet. Our plan is to mimic the EC 3 and then PGTA test any embryos we are fortunate to get.

Currently on 28 days of growth hormone injections, DHEA and OVUM

Good luck, keep hydrating add electrolytes that is something I tried different when I seen that positive for the first time- could have been a fluke but every little helps our mindset!

I had my first scan today on CD9 (stims day 8). I've got 22 follicles, 5 of which are over 12mm which is amazing news. Hoping they keep growing in a nice uniform way! Next scan is Wednesday.

@Moosey898 wow, well done! Keep us posted. We’re scan twins! My follicles today were 4, 5, 5, 6, 8, 11, 11 and 13. Hoping my baby ones catch up. Only on 3rd day of stims so I’m hoping that’s reasonable measurements.

@LRS2016 good luck. I’m on 4 injections daily currently and definitely getting more painful!

How’s everyone doing
10 follicles today, but not much change in measurement.

have gone from - 4, 5, 5, 6, 8, 11, 11 and 13

to 3, 3, 5, 6, 6, 8, 8, 13, 13 and 15

really worried I’m not going to get any eggs 😞

Cycle day 7, day 6 of stims.

Is this scans 2 days apart? Early on in a stims cycle 1-1.5mm a day is the norm and it looks like your numbers are in line with that so that's a good thing! If you do respond slowly they'll just extend the stims, that happened to me last cycle, I had extra days to give them more time to grow and mature.

On day 9 of stims last time I had:
20.3, 15.8, 14.3, 12.1, 7.9, 7.3, 7, 6.4, 5.7, 4.7, 3.6, 3.1, 2.6, 1.2

On day 11 of stims I only had 6 above 10mm!

And still got 7 mature eggs, triggered on day 14 of stims (CD15) xx

Yes, 48hrs apart. Here’s hoping they grow 🤞🏻

Can I ask a probably very silly question but it’s my first cycle.. but how do you know what cycle day you’re on in an ivf cycle?

cause in my normal cycle for example I would be day 23 and would be due my normal period on Sunday.. I have done 4 weeks nasal spray for down regulation and I’m now day 5 of stims?

If 5 days of stims, I assume that makes you CD 5ish? CD 1 usually same as normal cycle, first day of bleeding

Hi everyone, can I join? Bit late to the party but on day 7 of sims, ec planned for sometime next week.

Bit about me- second ec cycle, first gave us 3 frozen embryos. 1st - bfn, 2nd gave us our healthy two year old, 3rd - bfn.

Decided to go for one more cycle and see if we get lucky again. Had ohss last time so hoping to avoid that this time!

I’d take this as a positive lovely you have follicles, this is already a win and there’s progress already they can make that jump across the line!!! Got a few days yet 💕💕

Welcome! How are you finding stims this time around? Really hope this cycle gives you that precious embryos that makes it all the way x

Wishing everyone on this the best of luck!! Starting stims on Saturday and on my priming mediation a few days I’m feeling superrrrr anxious and my heart is fluttering when I think about things but I knoe this is very normal and I’m just feeling a little overwhelmed did anything help with these feelings and did they pass for ye all eventually?

Hey @CMGC, good luck too! I started stims at the end of march so had my fresh transfer on Monday but found the anticipation before starting really hard and it felt easier once you actually get going and can have regular check ins with your clinic to ask any questions. Try and distract yourself as much as possible (although I know this is easier said than done!)

Sorry for the really slow reply @PlanBFertility26, I was expecting a lot more growth in follicles and many more to respond than did but it seemed to improve slightly the further on in stims I got and worked out ok in the end with our embryos. Hope you are doing ok, have you started yet?

I'm having more side effects this time, headaches and hip pain but didn't get either the first time around. Next scan is tomorrow so hopefully that'll give a good idea of how things are progressing. Currently have 12 follicles above 10 and a few smaller ones but I had a big drop off on fertilisation last time.

How are you getting on with stims and how did your scan go?

I was so nervous first time! After a couple of days I settled into it. Hope this cycle goes well for you 🤞🏼

I'll be keeping everything crossed that that means the meds are working well!

I'm doing ok - starting to feel heavy and sluggish but only a few more days, I've got my next scan tomorrow and they expect to do trigger Saturday night for EC Monday. Last scan was on track which is good news. Hoping for at least as many eggs as last time x

Go another scan tomorrow - 8 days of stims.
