Hi all,

Just wondered if anyone else is having a frozen embryo transfer this month and wants to share the experience together.

I started oestrogen tablets and patches last week, and will have my first lining scan this Tuesday. All being well, transfer will hopefully be the middle or end of the following week.

Despite an extremely high collection and fertilisation rate, we’ve only ended up with one euploid embryo so feeling very nervous about our chances. I’m 40 years old and been having fertility treatment (IUI, IVF, ICSI) for three years now. No children.

Please do join in if you are also having a frozen embryo transfer this month as it would be good to chat.

Hi all so…. Started bleeding yesterday at 5 weeks pregnant symptoms seem to have lessened, such scary times, I have a scan booked in the epu on Saturday just wish it was sooner but they won’t do it u til 6 weeks as they say there is no point, my gp won’t do beta tests as I’m still getting positive strip tests they just say well you’re still pregnant, they just don’t understand the anxiety from experiencing early losses repeatedly.

sorry just needed to vent/express at the moment, this waiting game is awful isn’t it

Hi @camelinastormso sorry you’re having some bleeding - is it still going now or has it stopped. It could be a number of things and my clinic told me it was perfectly normal to have some bleeding in early pregnancy especially if your taking pressaries and stuff as it maybe cervix irritation. Are you based in the UK? I just googled nearby places that would do private blood tests as my clinic wouldn’t do it either. Don’t ever apologise this is a stressful journey and we can all relate to the anxiety. Have fingers crossed you get a reassuring scan on Saturday x

@camelinastorm so sorry to hear this, hopefully it is just a haematoma which are quite common or similar. That's really rubbish of your GP when it could help put your mind at ease. I wish you all the luck for Saturday.
