Hi all,

Just wondered if anyone else is having a frozen embryo transfer this month and wants to share the experience together.

I started oestrogen tablets and patches last week, and will have my first lining scan this Tuesday. All being well, transfer will hopefully be the middle or end of the following week.

Despite an extremely high collection and fertilisation rate, we’ve only ended up with one euploid embryo so feeling very nervous about our chances. I’m 40 years old and been having fertility treatment (IUI, IVF, ICSI) for three years now. No children.

Please do join in if you are also having a frozen embryo transfer this month as it would be good to chat.

@Sineadttc i have no real symptoms I don’t think, this is why I tested early and bought like 10 tests 🤣🤣 they are 10mlU so not super sensitive, I do have headaches and quite thirsty but nothing else have you got any symptoms now wishing I’d not tested as it never makes me feel relaxed 🤣🤣

@camelinastorm i forgot to say cautious congratulations on my first reply 🤞🏻
My DH is getting worse than me now. I was going to do another test on Friday and now he is persuading me to do one daily for the line progression.
My symptoms are similar to yours. Nothing will quench my thirst.
Is this your first transfer?

camelinastorm · 21/01/2026 16:54

@Sineadttc ni this is I think my 7th 4 early miscarriages and three failed implantation so I will still be very nervous until I get past 7 weeks seems so far if this is a correct position I’ve looked back at the rest and it’s pretty dark now

camelinastorm · 23/01/2026 10:42

The last 3 days I have had progression at least

@camelinastorm these look great! How are you feeling?
Mine seem to be progressing too.. I did not have any FRER on 6DP5DT so these are from day 5 and day 7 AM & PM.

I feel like I will be testing every day until my OTD on Tuesday. 🤞🏻

@Sineadttc they look great you can really see the progression, really wish I’d gone for the first response over cheapies but I really didn’t think I would even get a smidge of a positive.

i still have no symptoms it’s stressing me😂 most people don’t want symptoms but I’m sure I’m not alone we ivf girls want them for reassurance

Mrsblobby88 · 25/01/2026 14:25

@camelinastorm @Sineadttc how are you both getting on?

I've tested today 5dp and I have a little line. Not getting excited though because I've been in this position before x

@Mrsblobby88 its so hard when you have experienced a loss after the line it’s hard to relax, I’ve done a test everyday it’s crazy how much this consumes you, I wish beta tests were available easily from the gp to show numbers it’s just so scary I’m doing well apart from the anxiety

SprinklesOfHope · 27/01/2026 11:25

Hi @camelinastormare you able to get a beta with your clinic ? Mine offer it but it’s at an additional cost. It might help put your mind at rest if they do? X

MyAgileZebra · 27/01/2026 15:56

I tested today at 7dpt and I got a positive. Similarly I'm not getting too excited following 3 MCs but it's a step in the right direction x

Same, I dread going to the loo in case I see blood :(

Sineadttc · 27/01/2026 17:08

I feel all of your responses!!
I don’t get my scan until 7w4d and my anxiety is sky high
I am only 4w1d. So grateful that I am in this position but shocked at how anxious I am

My clinic don’t offer betas either.

MyAgileZebra · 27/01/2026 17:22

@Mrsblobby88 I'm the same, but then I'm not even relieved if there isn't blood because then I think it's the progesterone stopping it. Yes @Sineadttc so grateful but so anxious. My clinic don't offer betas either.

GamerGirl09 · 27/01/2026 17:57

@Sineadttc @camelinastorm @Mrsblobby88 @MyAgileZebra congratulations on your positives ♥️ wishing all the best for you all over the coming weeks and months 🫶🏻 xx

Anyone going for a transfer soon or testing soon, best of luck 🤞🏼♥️

And for those who haven’t had the news they’d hoped for this time, wishing you all the success for next time 🤞🏼 you got this ♥️ xx

MyAgileZebra · 28/01/2026 05:55

The joy was short lived, I've woken up with all my symptoms gone and bleeding 😢.

im so sorry to hear this. Sending love xx

Sineadttc · 28/01/2026 11:07

@MyAgileZebra i am so sorry to read this. Did you ring your clinic? They may bring you in early for a beta?

MyAgileZebra · 28/01/2026 11:48

@Sineadttc they don't do betas at my clinic. Plus my OTD isn't until Monday so they will just say wait until then.

Busyoverthinking · 28/01/2026 13:57

Hello everyone.
I had my FET on Sunday 25th Jan. It's my 4th transfer (two fresh, one fet). I've previously followed the forums but never commented or joined. I've just joined Mumsnet today.

Maybe I'm better in the Feb group, as reading the comments, I'm quite far behind everyone in here? Haven't had a chance to read them all but will try to catch up. If anyone is in a similar boat, I'd love to hear from you. ❤️

camelinastorm · 28/01/2026 15:17

@MyAgileZebra have you tested again it may be a hematona they cause bleeding in early pregnancy, I have no symptoms really and it’s uber stressful
@Sineadttc my clinic is overseas so can’t get a beta, I don’t understand why the nhs won’t do betas when you get a positive test like all the other countries do

camelinastorm · 28/01/2026 15:22

@Busyoverthinking welcome I am only 10days ahead of you so this forum is ok id say, i had my transfer on the 15th so very early days here, what meds are you on? Im on progesterone injections and pessaries, blood thinners, estrogen and steroids due my bed intrilipoid infusion next week

Busyoverthinking · 28/01/2026 16:43

@camelinastorm thank you. Oh, I've never heard of the infusion. If you don't mind me asking, what is that for?

This was a natural frozen transfer (same as my other frozen one). So, I'm only on progesterone pressaries twice daily, which I started on day of transfer. I had blood thinner injections on my last fresh transfer and found them quite uncomfortable. Do you manage okay with them?

camelinastorm · 28/01/2026 17:34

@Busyoverthinking yes they are a bit stingy aren’t they, the intrilipoid infusion is to suppress immune cells as they could find no reason why I keep getting failed implantation and miscarriages so we thought stuff it we will throw everything at it
