Hi! I’m starting the process of a FET in September, transferring a 4AB early October. Trying for baby number two. Anyone else? Would be great to have people to talk to amongst the symptom spotting, line eyes and general freak outs ☺️

The symptoms are impossible! Sympathy.

So I am officially pregnant. Now im worried my beta hcg was on the lower end. My nurse is super happy and said its super normal. It was 102 so technically it is over what they like to see. Im 13dp6dt and my clinic like to see hcg levels over 100 at 14dpt so guess iv made it over the line. I have another test on tuesday next week and I have a scanned booked for the 28th.. the worry really doesnt end. Im trying to just take the win and be happy. Hubby told me to take a breath, relax and take the good news and worry about the rest when there is something to worry about.

Waitingforday6 · 11/11/2025 06:57

Yay congratulations @Miraclemuma03! It's hard to relax I'm sure, you just want to fast forward, but it's all going as well as it could and I hope that continues!! You might as well enjoy each step (easier said than done!) your husband is right 😀

Limmers14 · 11/11/2025 08:23

Congratulations @Miraclemuma03!

My clinic told me anything over 25 means you’re pregnant, anything over 100 means it’s a really strong sign if that helps.

SarahAndQuack · 11/11/2025 08:28

Oh, this is wonderful news @Miraclemuma03! Your husband is right - definitely take it as a win! Getting a high number sounds really, really good. I hope you can let the worries recede a little bit (I know how hard it is).

Miraclemuma03 · 11/11/2025 08:59

Thanks ladies. One milestone has been accomplished. On to the next.

SarahAndQuack · 11/11/2025 10:24

Absolutely! Onwards and upwards!

Sara237 · 11/11/2025 13:48

@Miraclemuma03 That's a great number. Excellent sign. I totally get the endless worry though. I also think the stress of every IVF stage accumulates. As you say, another milestone reached! Congratulations. Xx

How is everyone doing?

Limmers14 · 13/11/2025 14:45

Hey @ClaireBear101! I’m good. How’re you doing?

Took a clear blue today that said 2-3 weeks. Not too many symptoms apart from feeling more tired and hungrier than usual.

DH and I went for a mooch in John Lewis last weeks. I’ve booked the nursery appointment for March next year. Haven’t referred to the NHS appointment though 😂

How are you going @ClaireBear101 ?
Im going well. I have my second beta on tuesday which my clinic is happy for me to do locally as I have other things to do that morning and I have a 7 week scan booked for the 28th im pretty sure. Il be 5 weeks tomorrow (saturday) and the due date is on my birthday. Im a little worried because the little one we lost at 16weeks ,his due date was the day before my birthday so I hope this means this one is a good omen and not history repeating itself.

Miraclemuma03 · 13/11/2025 20:42

@Limmers14 i cant get past the exhaustion, i was tired on the progesterone but im absolutely dragging my feet during the day and having difficulty keeping up with my normal routine. By around 4pm im jumped in bed for the rest of the evening. I dont know if its the build up of progesterone or the start of early pregnancy because I really do have lots of side effects from progesterone its just the last few days its ramped up also the indigestion has been rough the last couple of days. Other then that, no real other early pregnancy symptoms. Id hate to say it but I hope they start soon so I feel like something is happening hahah for me they begin around 6 weeks so I guess il see what happens.

ClaireBear101 · 13/11/2025 21:03

I'm living for the 6 week scan on Tuesday. I'm absolutely exhausted. I also can't sleep through the night so ugh!!! Other than that ive had touches of nausea but not much else. 😀

Limmers14 · 13/11/2025 22:03

Sorry to hear you’re so tired @Miraclemuma03 I know what you mean about hoping other symptoms start soon, just to help feel like it’s all moving forward. I feel similar.

@ClaireBear101 I keep waking up a lot during the night too!

We dont get a scan until 7 weeks so I have what feels like ages to wait.

SarahAndQuack · 14/11/2025 08:28

Sorry to hear you're both so tired, @ClaireBear101 and @Miraclemuma03. I can understand why the dates are upsetting, @Miraclemuma03. It's just something that sticks in your mind, isn't it? But hopefully this time around there will be a happy association that will come to balance the sad one.

I'm doing ok, I think. I am feeling sick now but powering through at work, and it seems to help. I cannot get my mind around badger notes for the midwife! I can't find the passwork thingy she's meant to have sent so need to email. I really hate doing all of this stuff on apps - I had enough with the clinic's bloody app that never updated! Grin

@Limmers14, I love a good John Lewis mooch! So jealous you have one nearby - we don't any more, but when DD was born we had a big one and all the baby stuff is far too tempting. I'm trying not to buy anything. My mum, bless her, suggested I might like the wicker moses basket she has ... which she got for my older brother nearly 50 years ago! Grin I think maybe not!

SarahAndQuack · 14/11/2025 18:28

Oh well, my turn to stress about bleeding again. I had some pinky/red blood, not masses, but I rang the midwife and she's booked me in for a scan on Monday.

Its weird everything is done on an app, we dont have that here. We just have a blue booklet we take to any sort of appointment for pregnancy and it gets filled out for the next person to read and put their notes.

Im sorry your spotting again, hopefully its nothing to worry about and you see little bean wriggling around at your scan. How far along will you be now? I am 5 weeks today so hopefully all is going well. Im really bloated and uncomfortable it looks terrible, even hubby has noticed hahahah but hes a gentleman.

SarahAndQuack · 14/11/2025 23:50

5 weeks! That must feel great. I'm 9 weeks today. It's heavier bleeding than last time, but fingers crossed.

I would much rather have proper notes than an app! When my ex-P was in labour the hospital did everything on an app and they kept losing things - it was really annoying.

It's not glam, is it,the bloating? My DD keeps wincing at the sight of my very bruised stomach, as well.

How heavy is the bleeding. Is it still when you wipe or on a panty liner? You must be so worried. It could be a haematoma that is actively bleeding.

SarahAndQuack · 15/11/2025 00:43

I'm ok - I rang my midwife and she booked me in. I'm not actively miscarrying (I know what it's like). On my 7 week scan there were no signs of haematoma, so I'm hoping it's nothing. You know how it is!

Miraclemuma03 · 15/11/2025 06:04

So I cant eat pretzels. That is all lol

And also indigestion has me f@*ked up . Hubby is driving the hr round trip to go get me more quickeze from town

Miraclemuma03 · 15/11/2025 08:31

Can we talk about partners for a minute. My husband likes to read the safe foods pdf and what is safe during pregnancy that the clinic provide when getting the positive beta. Let me say since that day my husband has cut me off hahaha I mean everything, he keeps making my bacon and egg sandwiches with hard eggs not runny eggs, so if i make my own he wont let me eat it. He wont let me have wendys and no takeaway burgers with salad or prepacked salads and fruits, no processed meats not that I really eat that stuff, wont let me clean the litter trays and he has lost his mind. Im a bit more lax, I think its fine as long as its prepared in a clean environment and I love stopping off at wendys once a week to get me a small mega choc thickshake, but it contains soft serve which he doesnt want me having. I dont really eat take out anyway so I guess thats not a bother but I absolutely love my cold chicken caesar salad from my local Cafe. If your wondering, he is like this every time. Its a pain in my arse as I like to be just normal and live normally and do my normal and he is excessive hahahahah I cant exactly argue with him as this isnt just my pregnancy and child we are trying to grow so I have to be fair. But is anyone else's partners like this. No heavy lifting either. Iv been told to rest as im high risk and he is taking that too literal. Just trying to do housework and he wont let me mop floors ..this man is crazy. Guess this is my life now hahah

Sara237 · 15/11/2025 17:36

@Miraclemuma03 No, my husband is nothing like that. He cooks for me and takes my son out when I tell him too but really lacks initiative and frequently needs explicit instructions on what I need. I wish he'd adopt the no housework/rest only policy!
@SarahAndQuack Hope you're managing ok. Any bleeding is scary even though it's most likely to be fine. If you wanted to go to a and e you'd prob get seen more quickly by early pregnancy unit but they might not scan. Good you've got the scan Monday anyway.
I'm finding every day a physical struggle. Things that help are sipping water constantly and lots of little meals but the nausea is all day though no actual sickness. I'm 9 wks on Wed, first midwife appt on same day. 🤞

ClaireBear101 · 15/11/2025 18:28

I finally got the 3+ weeks on a digital test and cried with happiness. Scan isnt long now too.
@miraclemuma03 Sounds like your well looked after in fairness. I'm staying away what I'm told to with my fear of another miscarriage etc so definitely no soft serve or runny eggs etc.
My wife looks after me well and checks can I eat something before buying/cooking. We are both new to it all having had 0 luck for a number of years so just being careful.
@SarahAndQuack to echo everyone a little bleeding is fine but sending positive vibes. Let us know how your scan goes.
@Sara237 I hear you with the nausea but its the exhaustion is really hitting me. I just wake up a lot at night. I never nap and today had no choice but to do it and going to a comedy gig tonight and feel gross with the bloating etc haha. I know I'm only 5 weeks 4 days but seem to just have a lot of symptoms early. I hear 2nd trimester is supposed to be nicer. Bring that on haha
