Hi! I’m starting the process of a FET in September, transferring a 4AB early October. Trying for baby number two. Anyone else? Would be great to have people to talk to amongst the symptom spotting, line eyes and general freak outs ☺️

@SarahAndQuack I'm so sick of being the quality control! I'm stressed about this. The thought of finally getting pos and then not working as insufficient progesterone is too much ... My clinic left 2 key details off my prescription. The prescriber in UK didn't think to tell me this so it's just sitting there. They will send it today and I'll spend tomorrow chasing. Maybe will get it by Fri. But run out tomorrow. Are you on both till week 10? Urgh, I feel sick.

Oh, my goodness. That's ridiculous!

I just don't understand why they aren't more on it - it matters for their statistics, too, surely?! I will cross my fingers very hard that you get it soon.

I'm on lubion, estrogen, progesterone pessaries, steroids and blood thinners until week 7, which I wasn't expecting. After that I don't know. The communication isn't wonderful, to say the least.

Sara237 · 14/10/2025 15:06

@SarahAndQuack from Wed I will only have cyclogest pessaries...anyone have any idea how I can get some lubion to tide me over? 😭 Going to doc tomorrow for the beta, might they prescribe some?

That's a good idea. I am getting the sense that what works is just being very, very, very pushy and keeping on insisting they sort it out.

Sara237 · 14/10/2025 21:25

@SarahAndQuack thanks. I use the online pharmacy fertility2U however because the clinic abroad has a different doctor write the prescription, they won't accept it. Yet my usual doctor is off! Felt sick all day that I'll be unsupported from tomorrow. Though chatgpt has reassured me that 800 mg of cyclogest is sufficient without injectable lubion which is added as an insurance. I want that insurance though. It's never easy is it? Anyone else just on cyclogest for support?

Miraclemuma03 · 15/10/2025 00:12

@Mamafromtheblock oh Hun im so very sorry. This is such a hard process and honestly it sucks. You worked so hard and its just not far.

@PlanBFertility welcome. I think we were in another group together as your user name looks familiar. Hope this cycle is successful.

@SarahAndQuack your clinic are really testing your sanity arnt they. Cant believe they cant get meds sorted for you.

Well finally after a bit of stuff around my meds are paid and will be delivered to my clinic for me to pick up on friday when im there for my first scans and bloods.

Miraclemuma03 · 15/10/2025 00:19

@Sara237 im sorry your also having issues with meds from your clinic. I hope you get it sorted . How stressful is it to do all the running around to sort stuff the clinic should he organising and on top of.

Sara237 · 15/10/2025 05:43

@Miraclemuma03 Thanks. It's a nightmare. Definitely a mark against treatment abroad. Every prescription has had a problem. If these clinics are going to offer treatment to people from a different country, they should at least be able to create a valid prescription you'd think...glad you are getting sorted. Seems to have taken ages!

Im surprised that the clinics dont have partnerships with their pharmacists and they dont ring you for payment and then send you your meds. Our clinic here have a pharmacists that they order their scripts through and the pharmacist then ring us for payment and they deliver to our clinic where we pick them up so we dont have to run around trying to find someone to fill our scripts. If a cycle is successful then they fill our scripts for how ever long we need to stay on the meds, which is usually until 10 to 12 weeks so that when we graduate from the clinic we dont have to run around and find specialist to continue the medications. It surprises me when people get treatment abroad that the medications aren't sorted for them and sent to them knowing the discrepancies in medication between countries .

Thanks everyone for the supportive messages. In the interest of self preservation I’m going to unfollow this thread now but I wish you all the luck in the world and hope those BFPs keep on coming and they stick around.
In the nicest way possible I hope not to recognise any usernames when I join a future months FET group! 😝

Totally understand that decision. I'm wishing you all the luck for next time. Take care of yourself.

It's not just an issue doing it across different countries (though OMG, it sounds as if that's a whole other level of stupid). I've been to three clinics in the UK and I'm fairly familiar with several more from friends/these threads, and while lot of UK clinics work the way you describe, it turns out they don't all.

My UK clinic simply doesn't have a pharmacist. For a fee, they will arrange a courier delivery, but the courier is independent so they can't check prices in advance or guarantee times. They really do assume people ought to be sourcing their own meds. On Monday morning one of the nurses suggested I try Amazon. Hmm

It never occurred to me to check this sort of thing when I went to the clinic - I just thought I knew how it all worked by now and they would just provide the meds and charge for them.

SarahAndQuack · 15/10/2025 08:40

How are you feeling about your scans on Friday, @Miraclemuma03? This is a baseline, is that right?

sunflower1906 · 15/10/2025 09:07

@Sara237 Maybe you could increase your cyclogest until you can get the lubion sorted? That’s if you have enough of that to tide you over? I’m on 4 x 400mg cyclogest so deffo room to increase yours, hope you manage to reach a solution soon and best of luck with yr beta today 🤞🏼🤞🏼

SarahAndQuack · 15/10/2025 09:14

Does everyone else have a beta test? My clinic has just got me to do a home pregnancy test - after that there's nothing until a week 7 scan.

sunflower1906 · 15/10/2025 10:34

Mine don’t do a blood test either, just a home pregnancy test x

cakeislife1234 · 15/10/2025 10:49

I think I may be also having a chemical, tests just don’t seem to be getting any darker over the past 2 days l. I last tested yesterday morning so I’m trying to wait until tomorrow morning to see if there’s much change but I’m not holding out much hope now

Amazon!!!! Truly??? Thats something else. I think its the small things that I like about my clinic. Its all just organised and sorted for you . This honestly was the first time iv had to ring more then once about my meds and as soon as they realised their mistake they rang me to let me know it was sorted and they were sorry for any hold up or stress. The only thing I dont like about my clinic is they arnt open on weekends and it really makes for natural cycles realy hard.

So my day 10 scans and bloods actually fall on the saturday which my clinic dont open or operate on weekends so im being brought in on the friday to see where i am at and whether I can actuall trigger on the friday or if I can stretch it until the monday so I won't actually know until my blood work comes back in on friday afternoon. Im actually really worried that im going to be told this cycle cant go ahead because my ovulation will take place over the weekend or my transfer will fall on the following weekend so im a bit nervous about how its all going to work.

Also forgot to add on the last comment that yes our clinic only do beta bloods and wont accept a home pregnancy test as conformation. They want to see the numbers which tells them if they think the pregnancy will be viable or not. Anything under 100 at 12dp5dt they are cautious and then 7 days later a second beta bloods is done and they calculate the doubling and of the doubling is more then every 3 days then they class it as non viable and explain to expect some bleeding and they will keep doing blood tests until either its back to 0 or if keeps increasing then you get scanned at 7 weeks . If your numbers are good after both betas then they dont do more bloods and just wait for your scan..

I hope thats not the case. How many dpt are you now?. Could it just be your testing too early?

cakeislife1234 · 15/10/2025 11:59

I’m 8dpt now, been testing positive since 5dpt but just not looking like they are progressing. I’ve had 7 chemicals, and it looks very similar to all of those xx

Miraclemuma03 · 15/10/2025 12:06

@cakeislife1234 im really sorry. That is upsetting and I hope your going to be ok and you are surrounded by loving and supportive people. I really hope the tests turn around and its just that its early and a slow start.

SarahAndQuack · 15/10/2025 16:06

I'm so sorry, @cakeislife1234. Lots of love.
