Hi! I’m starting the process of a FET in September, transferring a 4AB early October. Trying for baby number two. Anyone else? Would be great to have people to talk to amongst the symptom spotting, line eyes and general freak outs ☺️

@Sara237 I splashed out and used a frer as it’s all I had in!

if I look at it under the flashlight on my phone I can convince myself there’s a faint line there but I know it’s my mind playing tricks on me lol

cakeislife1234 · 12/10/2025 09:28

@Sara237 PS I’ve never seen an evap that strong and I’ve had my fair share!!

So i caved and did a very early test. And a cheap, insensitive one at that. It took 7 minutes for a faint pink line to emerge. I assumed it's evaporation as it says read at 3 mins but it also says read within 10 mins...then I read an evap line is never pink only grey. Rubbish camera so not ideal. Oh, what fun this isn't! I'm uploading it to see if any of you see pink...thanks.

That looks like a positive to me. Congratulations. Hopefully it continues to progress over the next week or so.

sunflower1906 · 12/10/2025 13:23

Wonderful news @Mamafromtheblock and @Sara237 that’s deffo not an Evap line you can clearly see it and it’s pink too!

@cakeislife1234 sorry if I’ve missed it but what DPT are you? Still sounds super early so hopefully you will get your BFP soon 🤞🏼🤞🏼

cakeislife1234 · 12/10/2025 13:24

I’m only 5dpt I fully expected a negative I’m just clearly a POAS addict and prob need to go to meetings haha

InfertilitySWS · 12/10/2025 14:01

Congrats to everyone getting their positives!

Just an update to say it looks like mine is a chemical. Heartbroken right now. But time heals all wounds.

I wish you all the best of luck ❤️

@InfertilitySWS I'm really sorry. It is so heartbreaking when you've had the elation and hope building only to be crushed. Sorry to ask, but are you sure? Thinking of you xx

@InfertilitySWS I’m so sorry, it’s absolutely heartbreaking to go through. Sending you hugs xx

I’m pretty sure, I’ve been through this before. The tests are getting lighter unfortunately. There’s a silly part of me holding onto a shred of hope, but I know I’m kidding myself xx

@InfertilitySWS im so very sorry. That is so hard. Please do something nice for yourself. I hope you have a better outcome next time.

SarahAndQuack · 13/10/2025 09:33

I saw your thread before I saw on here, @InfertilitySWS. Thinking of you today.

Mamafromtheblock · 13/10/2025 13:28

So sorry @InfertilitySWS it’s so hard when your hopes are already raised.

Unfortunately I think I may be in the same boat. Used a cheapie test on Saturday morning and had a faint line. Took a clearblue digital in the afternoon and after taking ages to load it did say pregnant.
Took the test the clinic gave me this morning and it was the most faint line yet. Im now 13dpt so would think it should be a definite line by now…..
with my previous pregnancy I had a super obvious line by 10dpt
obviously I’ll be buying more tests this afternoon and continuing to torture myself for the foreseeable

cakeislife1234 · 13/10/2025 14:25

@Mamafromtheblock I’m so sorry you’re going through this as well xx

PlanBFertility · 13/10/2025 18:32

Hi all,

hope it’s ok for me to join in. Not sure if I’ll be starting my frozen cycle in October or November. Have my nurse consult in few days.

I’ve had 3 ICSI cycle -
1 - Nothing. Total failed fertilisation
2 - Nothing. Total failed fertilisation
3 - 4 fertilised, 3 to blastocyst. 4AB, 4BB and 4AC. 4AB put back in and I finally got my positive. Words could not describe my happiness. Sadly baby bean was too good for this world and I had a missed miscarriage.

Just waiting for period to come so we can go again. Super worried as the quality of frozen ones aren’t as good. Worried they won’t survive the thaw etc

SarahAndQuack · 13/10/2025 18:53

Hi @PlanBFertility, welcome in! Sorry to hear you've had such a rough time. I get those worries but they're still good high grades, so here's hoping!

Hey how did it go? The tests sensitivity may vary if you’re using different brands, so fingers crossed you’re not out! X

Hey @InfertilitySWS thanks for checking in. Unfortunately I’m out. Got the clear blue with weeks indicator, would expect to see 2-3weeks by now and got ‘not pregnant’ this morning 💔

PlanBFertility · 14/10/2025 08:14

@Mamafromtheblock so sorry to read this

SarahAndQuack · 14/10/2025 08:41

I'm so very sorry, @Mamafromtheblock.

SarahAndQuack · 14/10/2025 09:21

Meh. I rang my clinic yesterday (OTD) to ask what was the quickest way to get more medication, as they only prescribed me enough for four more days. The bottom line is they don't have any guaranteed way to get me more within four days. I just have to cross my fingers. I'm so bloody fed up with this.

@Mamafromtheblock im so sorry to hear this sending you a virtual hand hold at this difficult time xx

@InfertilitySWS also thinking of you at this difficult time, how are you holding up? Xx

@PlanBFertility welcome to the group. I always think that they wouldn’t freeze an embryo if there was no chance of it working plus all this grading is so subjective and things can change so fast so please try not to dwell the grading too much, although if you are anything like me you are using chat GPT for success rates 🤣

@SarahAndQuack I hate when clinics do that it’s just added stress on top of an already stressful time and just not needed! Hope you can sort your meds asap!

I had my progesterone bloods this morning ahead of transfer tomorrow, I’m so anxious about it as the previous 2 times it’s been borderline or low and required me to add more progesterone meds after transfer 🙈🙈 anyone else had theirs checked prior to transfer? Xx

Sara237 · 14/10/2025 14:15

@Mamafromtheblock I'm so sorry. I hate those tests with the abrupt wording. Just way too hard to see. Thinking of you.
@SarahAndQuack i am similarly stressed re meds; I only have 2 more vials of lubion to inject plus a couple weeks worth of cyclogest. I messaged clinic last week and asked about this on day of transfer, last Monday. I'm concerned about just stopping the lubion as was down regulated so no natural progesterone. And no corpus luteum as donor eggs. Getting any drugs has been drawn out as from eu prescription you would not believe the faff. Why is there always additional stress? Have others stopped the injections once beta test done?
@InfertilitySWS Have you had a beta test yet? Thinking of you.

Same here @Sara237 - down regulated, and as I understood it, I shouldn't have ovulated so no corpus luteum here either.

I did manage to get them to sort it out in the end, but it's not really how I fancied spending my morning. I really don't get why clinics need to do this!

Hope you get your lubion soon. I can only imagine what a stress it is with the additional complications of the EU.

How are you feeling, though?

And how is everyone else?
