Hi! I’m starting the process of a FET in September, transferring a 4AB early October. Trying for baby number two. Anyone else? Would be great to have people to talk to amongst the symptom spotting, line eyes and general freak outs ☺️

@SarahAndQuack congrats!!

I got my BFP today too, shocked is an understatement!

I'm so glad! Congratulations!

Mamafromtheblock · 10/10/2025 16:10

Congratulations @InfertilitySWS and @SarahAndQuack!!

Sara237 · 10/10/2025 20:16

@InfertilitySWS and @SarahAndQuack that's great news, I'm so pleased for you both!

SarahAndQuack · 10/10/2025 22:44

Thanks so much, @Mamafromtheblock and @Sara237. I really, really appreciated the hand-holds so far.

Miraclemuma03 · 11/10/2025 11:08

@InfertilitySWS wow congratulations!! Amazing news.

@sunflower1906 i need to have my medications picked up from the clinic on Friday next week and the chemist deliver on Wednesdays so need the orders in and paid for by tuesday. Its definitely frustrating. Its not usually like my clinic to not be organised. Il ring at lunch time on monday when I get a chance. Im out with the horses on monday , they have dental and farrier so il be busy and the last thing I need is to be ringing around to sort meds and payment, especially in an area with limited service. This shit stresses me out as is it.

cakeislife1234 · 11/10/2025 11:09

@SarahAndQuack and @InfertilitySWS
amazing news, congratulations to both of you!!!

Piapea · 11/10/2025 14:58

@InfertilitySWS @SarahAndQuack congratulations!! That is such great news!

I had my FET yesterday. My embryo had already been thawed and refrozen for PGTa so I was pretty nervous it wouldn't hold up this time. It was all good though. Drama free transfer, although the nurse rubbed my inner thigh and said good luck when it was finished.. that was a bit weird😂 Now just an anxiety ridden 10 days until I test!

Good luck to everyone whose FET is coming up :)

Sara237 · 11/10/2025 16:29

@Piapea Glad that all went well, even with the thigh rub... 🤔
May the next ten days pass swiftly! My test date is Wed which I know is very soon but OMG it's dragging!
It really doesn't help having all these symptoms that mirror pregnancy but are likely just the drugs! Urgh.

Piapea · 11/10/2025 16:53

Omg yes! I have had 2 transfers already, the first one was fresh and didn't work and the second was frozen which worked and I have an almost 2 year old boy.
I'm already trying to compare symptoms and I don't even know if I'm having any yet 😂
This is going to be a long 10 days!

SarahAndQuack · 11/10/2025 17:44

Glad your transfer went well, @Piapea. That made me laugh, about the thigh rub! Definitely awkward! But I get your relief about the embryo thawing - that's brillant! A good sign it's a strong one.

It's really weird about symptoms, isn't it? I have never been sick very early before (5 pregnancies so enough evidence to go on, you would think). I'm definitely sick now. So whether it's the steroids or just this one is different, who knows?

Good luck to everyone in the TWW, and everyone with transfers coming up.

Limmers14 · 11/10/2025 20:02

Congratulations @InfertilitySWS and @SarahAndQuack!

I’m back on the beetroot and pomegranate juice to thicken my lining before my second scan on Thursday. My husband and I have both come down with colds though which is worrying me a little as I’ve heard this can affect transfers? Has anyone else heard this or experienced this? We’re on ALL the medicine and I’m making him sleep in our spare room so we don’t keep passing it back and forth 😂

cakeislife1234 · 11/10/2025 20:08

@Limmers14 I wouldn’t worry too much, it’s usually about a week after the lining scan that you’ll have a transfer so plenty of time to hopefully be feeling better

how on earth is everyone managing to hold off from testing until OTD?! I’m only 4dpt and I’m going mad already I’m soooo tempted!

Sara237 · 11/10/2025 22:13

@Piapea I've also been trying to compare to pregnancy with my son...but it was 8 years ago! I just remember testing all the time and lots of knicker checking! Urgh!
@SarahAndQuack sickness I do recall, I used to get it in the afternoon more than the morning. Hope you can rest up if needed.
@Limmers14 I was ill week before transfer, I read colds etc are fine. If you had a really high fever that's not ideal but otherwise it's ok.
@cakeislife1234 I think I'm just 1 day ahead of you. My test day is Wed. I've been holding out but I feel I need to do something so plan to test in morning. I'm assuming it'll be negative and I'll be fine as it's so early. Haven't got particularly sensitive tests either just poas ones as can see the line more easily! Not long now. I've found chatGPT amazing for distraction and reassurance. We chat away !😂

Mamafromtheblock · 11/10/2025 23:00

After a bit of a vague result this morning, a mad dash to the shop and lots of leg crossing later… I got my BFP!
Gobsmacked, speechless and cautiously thrilled are how I’d describe myself right now!

@Limmers14 in hindsight I’m now pretty sure I had Covid the day we transferred my little boy. Tested positive for it the next day and then got a positive pregnancy test the following week so it doesn’t automatically mean it’s not going to work 🙂

Limmers14 · 11/10/2025 23:37

@Mamafromtheblock congratulations!!

and thank you all for the words of wisdom on having a cold. We’ll keep our medicine up for the next few days but won’t let it worry me too much.

Sara237 · 12/10/2025 03:59

@Mamafromtheblock Congratulations, more good news! So pleased for you. Xx

Congratulations!!! Thats amazing news. Great to read of people's success. Hopefully means this is a lucky cycle.

cakeislife1234 · 12/10/2025 07:56

@Mamafromtheblock congratulations!!! Amazing news hopefully more to come from this group too

Mamafromtheblock · 12/10/2025 08:08

Thank you @Limmers14 @Sara237 @Miraclemuma03 and @cakeislife1234 😍 hoping this is a lucky thread for everyone

Sara237 · 12/10/2025 08:23

So i caved and did a very early test. And a cheap, insensitive one at that. It took 7 minutes for a faint pink line to emerge. I assumed it's evaporation as it says read at 3 mins but it also says read within 10 mins...then I read an evap line is never pink only grey. Rubbish camera so not ideal. Oh, what fun this isn't! I'm uploading it to see if any of you see pink...thanks.

Sara237 · 12/10/2025 08:24

Ah, won'tet me add the image as it's 'sensitive'...scrap that then!

That’s positive I’d say!!! Congratulations!

I also caved and got a very not surprising BFN!

Sara237 · 12/10/2025 08:29

@cakeislife1234 This is your day 5 isn't it? Too early but it's the need to do something isn't it? I still think mine might be evaporation as took 7 mins to emerge. Or as it's not an early test, there is a possibility it's real as it's picked up something even at such a higher level needed. Will get some more sensitive ones today. What are you using for this new hobby we've started?!

SarahAndQuack · 12/10/2025 09:23

Oh, @Sara237, that's wonderful! Clear positive. And for this early it's a good strong line - I usually can't see them at all when people post faint ones, and that I definitely can.

Congratulations! And to @Mamafromtheblock!

SarahAndQuack · 12/10/2025 09:23

@cakeislife1234, fingers crossed. It's so early.
