I think they call that lightning crotch? I have tail bone pain. It hurts to sit down. :( My doc said any pain is pretty much normal at this stage as long as it's not abdominal cramps!

worldwidetravel2017 · 13/11/2025 19:37

Had a bleed today :(
But baby girl = checked
& shes ok ♡♡

lemons44 · 14/11/2025 09:28

Argh sorry @worldwidetravel2017that must have been so scary! So glad baby is ok. Do they know what caused it?

lemons44 · 14/11/2025 09:30

@KayEmmSquared have you had any other symptoms of Pelvic girdle pain? How did you access an antenatal physio? Glad the belly support is helping I will look into one of those!

Generally just pain in my pelvis, my lower back and my inner hips. Inner hips has been the worst for me, especially when lying down, it’s like my hips are ready to snap.

My Trust offers free physio from 12 weeks, on a self referral basis, there’s a form on their website, some other Trusts it’s midwife referred.

I’ve previously had a slipped disc so my midwife recommended a support band very early on and it’s been so good. I didn’t wear it last weekend as I was just popping to the shops but ended up being out longer than expected and I was in agony the rest of the day, so it definitely helps…when I wear it lol xx

lemons44 · 15/11/2025 10:12

@KayEmmSquared Omg this is freaky as I am getting the hip pain and have also had a slipped disc!! Thanks for the advice I am going to look into it more.

i Hope you get some clarity soon @worldwidetravel2017x

worldwidetravel2017 · 15/11/2025 11:48

Went back in
As had another bleed

Got placenta checked
Its fine..

Baby girl fine - got a,pic of her smiling :)

confused2025 · 19/11/2025 19:42

How’s everyone doing? Had my birthing antenatal class last night. It actually wasn’t as scary as I thought it would be. They did reinforce that if you feel anything at all different with movement to go get seen asap.
My 28 week appointment is next week. Not looking forward to the glucose test - didn’t realise you have to fast for it.
Also, the Amazon Black Friday sale is starting at midnight so if you are getting anything baby wise make sure to add it to the registry first for the additional discount (hoping it works lol).

confused2025 · 19/11/2025 19:42

@worldwidetravel2017 glad everything is ok x

Timetotryagain · 19/11/2025 21:47

@confused2025 i tested the discount thing on some wipes and it did work with the 15% so thats good :D

confused2025 · 19/11/2025 22:10

@Timetotryagainim hoping for double discount 🤣. I have a lot in my basket

lemonwrighty · 20/11/2025 06:19

Insomnia has hit me like a tonne of bricks this week. I think I’ve had about 15 hours sleep combined in the past 5 days. On another note I am loving the amazing Black Friday deals. I managed to purchase the Owlet for £169 from £300 with the BF sale and the 15% off baby wish list discount! I also got some water wipes, baby hangers and a mamas and papas musical cot mobile.

@confused2025 I have my 28 week midwife appointment next week too. I had my glucose test done last week, just waiting on the results to come back but I won’t sugar coat it, it’s not the most pleasant so prepare to test your gag reflexes.

Has anyone had or due their RSV vaccine? I’m due to book from next week onwards but I’ve been having second thoughts. I have heard mixed responses on whether I should or shouldn’t

Orangewillow · 20/11/2025 08:10

@lemonwrighty I'll get my RSV vaccine at 28 weeks, I'm 27 now. I think it's very worth getting as I've heard small babies who get the illness can be very, very sick. What's your hesitancy in getting it?

Glucose test doesn't sound much fun, well done for getting though it!

Weve been in & out of maternity triage again this week - its, been hard

magpie234 · 20/11/2025 09:33

Just found out we are having a little girl 🥰

lemons44 · 20/11/2025 10:40

How are things going @worldwidetravel2017?

Amazing news @magpie234congrats! I think that’s now 2 girls and 4 boys in the group but I’m not 100% sure. I feel like I should make a list of all our usernames with due dates and gender where known 🤣 (that is genuinely something I would do if it helps people as I’m an organisation freak haha)

I have my diabetes test 3 days before Xmas 🎄 have u had it due to a family member having diabetes @lemonwrighty? I am having it because my dad is diabetic.

For those who are more than 24 weeks, have u started tracking baby’s kick patterns? I am 22 weeks but starting to make mental notes, although I don’t think baby establishes a regular pattern until 24 weeks onwards so I’m trying not to worry as he has mad days of kicking and then quiet days too. I caught him kicking on camera the other day!

Its been a hard 7 day's

I have a private 4d scan Monday

worldwidetravel2017 · 20/11/2025 10:42

Sunday even - not monday

magpie234 · 20/11/2025 10:46

@worldwidetravel2017 Really hope all is OK and sorry it has been such a tough one.

@lemons44 I would love that! Be fun to keep track of where everyone is as I always forget. I am 17 weeks tomorrow and my due date is 1 May.

I did find out today that I have an anterior placenta which apparently is fine but means it will be harder to feel movements. Not ideal for the anxious among us but hopefully it will be OK. Might just mean I end up going for more checks I gusss.

lemons44 · 20/11/2025 10:46

Forgot to say @lemonwrightyi am planning to have the RSV vaccine. Also curious what mixed responses you have heard? I haven’t seen anything negative but to be fair I haven’t really looked into it.

Timetotryagain · 20/11/2025 10:57

I will deffo be getting rsv vaccine when i am 28 weeks :)
@magpie234 i also have anterior placenta and i have been feeling less movements but still quite a lot now i am 23 weeks :)

@lemons44 i have no real "pattern" yet but i think i will start properly having a think and making sure i can feel the baby s few good times a day then (anterior placenta som sometimes its a bit muffled)

@confused2025 yep i think double discount will work for some things!!

@lemonwrighty yeah theres a lot of deals about :D

@worldwidetravel2017 do tou have placenta previa or anything causing the bleeds?
