I didn’t see a thread for July IVF yet. I am due to start stims around 18Jul with estrogen priming starting the week before that. Collection will be the end of July all going well.
This will be my second IVF and I will be using ICSI. I will be 40 during treatment and 41 come collection. I have a child from my first IVF 3 years ago. Since then I had a chemical pregnancy Dec 2024 with my only other embryo from my 2022 cycle and a failed IUI in Feb this year.
I found the discussion board really helpful and supportive in my first IVF round as we all understand the crazy ups and downs of this rollercoaster. Wondering if there are any others with similar timing?

@Bloop123 it is an expensive process, the tests were £900 initially and then I’ve had two retests at £400 each. And the immunotherapy itself was costly too. Not sure I feel any different in myself from all that! I haven’t had any pregnancy symptoms but I haven’t tested because I’m on so much medication and I think it would be hard to keep going with it all.

@StorkVisit You’re facing such a hard choice, the time pressure to make decisions makes this all so much more difficult.

@RainbowFluff my doctor recommended freezing my eggs in a couple of months. That way I’ll have the option to go ahead with my partner if we decide to go ahead or I can use a donor. I’m trying not to get too overwhelmed.
