Anybody else starting or in middle of treatment?

Bit about my experience so far..
My last treatment was in december and had to come to a stop after finding a polyp during the scan. Have since removed the polylp and given the green light to go again. currently on estrodiol and due for a lining thickness scan next week. If all goes to plan I think the frozen transfer will be during 1st wk of april (Fingers X’ed!)

would you mind me asking when you started stims? Im not too sure how long it takes from day 1 to when they usually transfer. That is if it all goes to plan of course.

@Sara237 @TheCandidPug thanks for the congratulations- hopefully there is more BFP for us all on the way! Such a tough time, I wasn’t expecting the second line to show yesterday, I had done a test the evening before again and was stark white then early morning I got the line!

@FrostedFlake sorry to hear of your previous miscarriage, it’s just so emotional and no one can prepare you for these times can they. But I wish you all the luck for your FET and keep us up to date how you get on, this thread has been my little life line.

@FrostedFlake day 1 of bleed I started progynova, today is day 10 so scan and blood test, ovitrelle tonight and then I start progesterone shots and Cyclogest pessaries from tomorrow. Transfer day is day 16 so Sunday if all ok. But because I'm having scan and blood tests in UK there will be a delay before I know if can book flights which is a pain. I'll just go for the day on Sunday. A long day!
@Memorare thanks, it's amazing how quickly the levels rise. With my IVF son, who is now 7, I literally checked 3 times a day. We were on holiday at the time I had tests everywhere... 😂

Had my scan which showed a polyp in the lining and a cyst on left ovary. Plus I've already ovulated ffs. Was supposed to be taking trigger shot tonight. Also got an automatic reply from the clinic to say that my coordinator is off till May 2nd so that was charming! After several messages I have a new person which is really rather key when you're in another country to keep things clear. Don't know whether to keep taking progynova or stop till hear back from doc. Presume cycle will be cancelled. And breathe! Urgh.

Tested yesterday 6DPT negative and same again today 7DPT and still stark white. Devastated I know it’s still early but i’m already counting us out. We transferred a 5BB on the afternoon of the 14th. I have a 2 year old from a fresh transfer in 2022 with a 3bc embryo. I had no embryos left from 2022 only 1 made it to transfer (2which was our transfer). This time we had to do a freeze all because of risk of OHSS.

I think I was over optimistic because our fresh transfer worked last time that this one would too. My bloods are not until Monday next week and my official home test date is saturday. Can’t help but feel upset! I’ve such bad period like cramps today and the progesterone has me wiped!

@Twittwoo2020 I'd have felt optimistic with a 5bb too, especially after your previous success. As you say, it is still early and your levels might be increasing as everyone differs but i get the feeling devastated, it's just an awful process. My little boy was a low grade blastocyst too and I remember feeling gutted when I got the grading but he's perfection. We tried with our last blastocyst a few years ago and I was bereft when it didn't work so i know how much hope is there. If this round doesn't work are you unable to try again?

@Twittwoo2020 oh I’m sorry to hear about your tests so far but try not to give up hope there is still time. I understand being too optimistic too. My last transfer I just assumed would take (not sure why) was devostated when my period arrived despite taking progesterone.

@Twittwoo2020 try not to give up hope, you never know your levels could still be raising. I was the same with my fresh transfer, I just assumed it would work (def don’t know why as I have never been pregnant before) and it’s so devastating when it doesn’t. Keep as optimistic and as positive as you can!

@Foreverhoping33 hope your ttw wait goes well for you and you are getting plenty of rest. I have my transfer on Wednesday so not too far behind you 😁

Feeling that this is all a waste of time this morning. The thought of having to wait months to get these problems sorted while I get older and the possible sibling age gap grows is just so depressing. It's going to be a long day when I just want to curl up and retreat away from everyone and everything. Sorry to be bleak and self-absorbed; that's me ATM!

ive also not had any +ve test. I tested yesterday day 4/5 and today 5/6 and start white. I couldn’t fine any first response, but used the clear blue early and nothing. Stark white. I’m trying not to over think it, but I just don’t think it’s our story this time 😢

@Hopefulheart77 how did your transfer go? Welcome to the tww! Hopefully it’s not too bad for you. So far I’m finding it ok and passing by! Going to try and not test early so official test date is 2nd May.

@TheCandidPug @Sara237 sorry to hear you are both feeling down about it all and not getting bfps yet. IVF is so tough and full of ups and downs all the time. Hoping your tests turn positive soon! Xxx

Hey @Foreverhoping33 Transfer went well yesterday thank you. The waiting begins. Though I definitely feel a lot more calmer than last time. How have you been getting on? Are you going to hold out for your otd?

Hey @jenk91 i had my transfer yesterday too! Transfer buddies 😁 Hope everything went okay for you. Mine is the 5th of may too but I’m really going to try and hold off until the otd. With my fresh transfer I drove myself insane with testing. Are you going to hold out? Or do you think you will test early?

@Hopefulheart77 so nice to have a transfer buddy! i am also feeling a lot calmer than with my previous fresh transfer, not sure why, defo helps to have not just gone through all the stims/egg collection and then anxiety of wondering if the embryos will make it.

im going to try and hold out, i am pretty good at not early testing because i find it too soul destroying seeing those negatives.

i told my husband today, since test day is bank holiday, we are going to have a picnic in the park…and if the test is negative then this picnic will involve alcohol 😬

@jenk91 @Hopefulheart77 yes im the same and not going to test early. Haven’t in the past so won’t for this one. But my last transfer failed and my period arrived before the test date despite taking progesterone pesseries so I guess I’ll know early anyways.

oooo picnic in the park sounds lovely and with alcohol if it’s a negative is good. Maybe I’ll do this too. Try and make sure I’m not too sad if it is.

one thing I am doing is reading into every cramp and butterfly I’m feeling which is quite exhausting. I was so cold last night for some reason so was up googling if it’s an early pregnancy sign 😂. It is not.

@Foreverhoping33 was your last transfer fresh or frozen? This is my first frozen transfer so not sure if to expect any difference.

the overthinking and overanalysing is so exhausting isn’t it! However hard you try, every cramp makes you wonder doesn’t it!

I’ve been having cramps on an off all afternoon but I think I did last time, probs from all the prodding and poking yesterday.

@Foreverhoping33 I’ve still not retested. I started getting spotting on and off since day 6 afternoon and it seems to have stopped again on day 9. I think it’s my period breaking through. I just figured that I’ll wait until it starts. Going away with my friend for a weekend in the van, so that will most definitely distract me! Good luck with your TWW ❤️

@jenk91 my last transfer was a fet in feb which unfortunately wasn’t successful. But I have had another fet two years ago which resulted in my son. Trying to remember how that fet was to compare to now 😂. That time I had no symptoms at all and was absolutely convinced I was going to get a negative so was surprised on test day. Fingers crossed this one goes the same way!

@TheCandidPug sorry to hear about the spotting always scary and not what you want to see. But if it’s stopped that sounds quite positive and maybe it was implantation bleeding?? Weekend away with a friend sounds like a lovely idea. Anything to stop dwelling on the tww. I find it so difficult to think of anything else 😅. When is your otd?

Hi - I'm really late to this thread, so so sorry for jumping in. Always say I'm not going to get sucked into over analysing / testing early, but I think that's just impossible. ET was 23rd, and OTD is also bank hol weekend (i see there are a few people testing then - good luck everyone!).
I promised myself I wouldnt test early, and yet here we are 5dpt, 2 faint (but visible) positives on clearblue & easy@home. Much fainter than previous times I've tested early, so suspect it may still be tigger.
Really nauseous yesterday, mouth tastes like i've been sucking a penny. WAAAAH. How are we all going to make it to otd?!
Had a failed FET in Feb / March, which was a cp (hence my promise to try and avoid over testing (LOL))- and various failures, mmcs blah blah blah over the years preceding that (and one success which is nearly 4!). Wishing everyone huge luck (and strength to not overanslise / spend ££££ on loads of tests like i do / go generally mad!). xx
