Anybody else starting or in middle of treatment?

Bit about my experience so far..
My last treatment was in december and had to come to a stop after finding a polyp during the scan. Have since removed the polylp and given the green light to go again. currently on estrodiol and due for a lining thickness scan next week. If all goes to plan I think the frozen transfer will be during 1st wk of april (Fingers X’ed!)

@Brownowl83 me too! That’s my main symptom hungry all the time!! Still don’t have really any morning sickness which is a win!
still haven’t heard from my trust re scan dates yet which is annoying just want them to be booked in so I can start counting down. Xx

@Foreverhoping33 @Brownowl83 ditto re constant hunger - it’s not even hunger actually, just the need to have some food in my mouth at all times. I’m going to be the size of several houses very soon!!

Mayne give them a call if you haven't heard by Monday, just to rest your mind?

I now take a banana and some biscuits to bed in case I wake up starving at 5am 😂 This, waking up early and very weird dreams is all I seem to have at the moment X

how’s everyone getting on? I still have very few symptoms so have booked another private scan for next week just for reassurance.

still waiting on hearing from hospital on 12 week scan too which is annoying. Have tried calling but can’t get through. Voice mail does say referral takes 10 working days though so guess I just have to wait it out…..

9 weeks today though here 🎉

@Foreverhoping33 Ah that’s so frustrating about your scan. I got my date really quickly, but we are away then - so now waiting (what feels like forever!) for new date.

I’ve got a bit of low-level nausea on/off which I’ve had for a while now. Also just got a sort of metal taste in my mouth and am having strong preferences for and against random foods. I’ve pretty much gone off chocolate now. Mainly I just can’t stop eating!!!

I’ll be 9 weeks on Friday, and we have our 1st midwife apt next week. It all feels surreal and I’m paranoid about every ache and twinge down there. Hoping we get our 12 week scan date soon (and I’m hoping they’ll bring it forwards, not backwards!!)

Congrats on 9 weeks @Foreverhoping33 and hopefully a scan will give some reassurance. Every pregnancy is different so its hard to understand what's really going on in there at times!
I'm 8 weeks tomorrow so exactly a week behind you @Evi83

Symptom wise I'm more hungry (despite drinking 3 litres a day!!) and so bloody tired. I have had waves of nausea in week 6 but not a huge amount since.

Having a scan next Wednesday, then waiting for at least 10 weeks for the NIPT blood test. Midwife appointment is in 2 weeks.

Does anyone else feel like time is dragging a bit? Maybe its because we're yet to tell anyone, and its always on my mind. Still anxious at times!

I've totally gone off water! I used to drink loads (it was all I drank), and now all i want is sweet stuff. I've tried doing water with lemon or orange squeezed in it, but it doesn't hit the spot in the same way. I'm only drinking water when i'm very thirsty / desperate. I think my teeth are going to fall out!

That's great you have a scan next week @Brownowl83 Think i need to call the clinic today and get my first nhs scan booked in. Time is definitely going backwards. Tempted by the NIPT but partner is away for work this week, so will decide when he's back.

We have told my sister & her OH. First time we've ever told anyone before 12 weeks, but i figure this is probably my last pregnancy and whether it works out or not, I want at least to have a few weeks of sharing it. I keep thinking about how I'm going to tell different people, family friends etc.... I hope I'm not getting too far ahead of myself. We had a horrible time around the 12 weeks scan last time. Fingers crossed it's a little easier this time 🙏

I've got my new scan date for July 8th (I'll be 13+4, so it feels really really late). Annoyingly my dh is away the original date they wanted to give us (when I'd be exactly 12 weeks), and the following week the clinic is closed (since when do NHS clinics close?!!). They won't scan us early at 11weeks. I may need to go to the EPU or book a private scan before then (but both of these things fill me with dread - previous bad experiences). Going to discuss with the midwife next week and see what she suggests. SO much waiting!!

@Evi83 that's so annoying! Im sorry 😐

As you say see what the midwife says, perhaps EPU will scan you as closer to 12 weeks xx

Hows everyone doing? Hope you're all ok! Most days I still don't feel pregnant 🤷🏻‍♀️

I've also currently got a rotten cold which initially I thought was hayfever at the weekend. I feel even more exhausted than i did already 🫩 To top it off I've also come out in a massive cold sore... I only get these when really stressed/run down so am blaming the disturbed sleep on all of this 🥴 Scan tomorrow, will let you know how I get on X

@Brownowl83 That's exciting you have a scan tomororw. How many weeks will you be?

Sorry about your cold / cold sores. I hear you on the tiredness and not sleeping very well (getting up to wee at least twice a night, and then worrying about everything!).

I completely don't feel pregnant. I have a constant 'off' taste in my mouth, and i can't stop eating... (help!). On/off mild nausea, but i still don't equate any of this to being pregnant. Such a weird time of limbo!

I totally sympathise with the confusion and limbo! My nausea has gone since having this cold but hunger and waking up at 4/5am remains. My jeans are getting tighter!!

@Brownowl83 Ha - I am no longer able to get into any of my jeans! 😭I'm fully embracing the elasticated waist drawstring trousers atm, and baggy t-shirts.

Unfortunately it wasn't good news first thing this morning.

There hasn't been any growth since the scan 2 weeks ago. No FH written on the notes we've been sent a copy of this afternoon which is absolutely heartbreaking, as this wasn't mentioned in person at the scan.

I've been sent to EPU on Friday for another scan to confirm and then go from there. We are in complete shock, this was very unexpected. I hope friday brings closure or my body makes that decision sooner as i feel completely lost ✨🤞🏻

@Brownowl83 Oh i'm so sorry. That's very sad. And i'm sorry also about the notes - its horrible to read these things written down before you've been told them. I hope the next few days / week goes as smoothly as possible. Look after yourself, gutted for you 💔

Oh @Brownowl83 I’m so sorry to hear about your scan today. Really really hope Fridays goes better!! So unexpected at this stage when they already found a heartbeat 😞.

I’m 11+5 today, but scan not booked for another fortnight. I have an appointment with epu next week just for reassurance - I felt a bit silly calling them with anxiety but they were so nice.

How are you feeling? I feel bloated a lot of the time, very mild nausea that comes and goes and quite specific food aversions / cravings that’s seem to change on a daily basis!

@Lostmyusernametoday oh that’s great news!! I have my 12week scan on Friday I can’t wait. Excited to see the nub too and make guesses on baby sex! Xxx
