Anybody else starting or in middle of treatment?

Bit about my experience so far..
My last treatment was in december and had to come to a stop after finding a polyp during the scan. Have since removed the polylp and given the green light to go again. currently on estrodiol and due for a lining thickness scan next week. If all goes to plan I think the frozen transfer will be during 1st wk of april (Fingers X’ed!)

Sending you all positive and sticky vibes!

Hi everyone. Can I join too please? I did a FET on Wed and in my clinic they do a blood test 9 days later which is 4th April. The waiting is so hard but planning not to test before! It’s my 4th FET, the first resulted in my now 3 year old and then second a c section ectopic and third a miscarriage.

TTCK8 · 30/03/2025 08:06

@Em916 Hi! Aw your test date will be similar to @wishfulbean and I. Sorry to hear about your previous losses!

Hopefully this next week goes fast for us! Although I am considering testing earlier, I’m just too impatient!

uhhuhyeahok · 30/03/2025 10:43

I had my transfer the week before last (in the middle of interviewing for a promotion which I did not get so I hope that's not a sign) so I'm testing next week. I've only done a poor quality fresh transfer out of 3 rounds so far so this is my first FET.

Honestly the progesterone is the absolute worst of all the meds I've had to take, I absolutely hate it.

wishfulbean · 30/03/2025 12:16

@Em916 sorry to hear about your previous losses and hopefully this round will bring a sibling for your 3 year old. Great that you can have a blood test at day 9! Still a long wait but nice to get a little certainty with hormones levels too.

@TTCK8 I’m not sure I will last until the 6th! Especially when I’ve been able to test a bit earlier before. Our wedding anniversary is also on testing day and I’m not sure I want potentially bad news then… although what a great gift it will be if it’s worked!

@uhhuhyeahok I agree wholeheartedly! Progesterone is the worst medication of any cycle for me. The fact it can give you many symptoms of pregnancy while we wait is just an added level of horribleness

SP83 · 31/03/2025 08:39

Hi, not quite an April FET however I had my transfer on the 24th March, into my second week of waiting and my nerves are really kicking in now. My clinic does blood test on day 11 so my test day is this Friday.

TTCK8 · 31/03/2025 12:29

So .. I ended up caving and taking a test today (had transfer a week ago today) and got a BFP! Praying this will stick 🤞🌈

@TTCK8oh my goodness congratulations! That’s wonderful! Hoping everything continues as smoothly as possible for you and your lovely positive!

wishfulbean · 31/03/2025 18:47

@SP83I also had a transfer on the 24th (as did @TTCK8with the lovely positive). The wait is definitely un-fun 😆. My test day isn’t until Sunday and it will just be a urine test. Sooo tempted to test early but I’m going to try and hold out!

A question for anyone who has either already had their frozen transfer or had one before: Do you feel cold at all? I’ve been feeling so cold this last week. Even when it’s been really warm. I’ve only ever had fresh transfers before as I have super poor egg quality so only get one embryo max but I was too sick for a fresh transfer last year. Wondering if just having the progesterone and none of the other medications is contributing to me feeling so cold?

Congratulations @TTCK8! I had it in my head to do a test on Thursday evening but clinic are saying try not to… not sure if I’ll be able to hold off!

I do randomly feel cold, didn’t even think of it as a side effect! I’m on quite a high dose of progesterone including daily prontagest injections which are really not pleasant.

TTCK8 · 31/03/2025 19:32

@wishfulbean You're definitely stronger than I am 🤣

I’ve not been feeling cold! But I’m sure it could be medication related like you said. Sorry to be so unhelpful!

TTCK8 · 31/03/2025 19:34

@SP83 thank you! Ahh I know it is so hard not to test!! I just couldnt help myself.. I suppose the longer you wait if it’s positive it will show very clearly by the end of the week which is nice. Rather than having a fairly faint line which can sometimes just cause more anxiety! 🤞

so hard, but I’m still in the stage of wanting to know and also not wanting to know. A faint line is still a line.. : )

Eggsellenté · 31/03/2025 23:40

congratulations to the BFP! And sending more will power to those who are trying very hard not to test early 😆 baby dust to all of you!

I had my scan on Friday and my lining was 11mm so they have booked me in for FET on 3rd April!
going in tomorrow to test my progesterone levels. Hopefully I have been absorbing the damn pessaries well enough and the lubion injection!

What was your lining measurements for those of you who already had the scan?

Foreverhoping33 · 01/04/2025 10:02

@TTCK8 ahhh congratulations on you bfp!!
and keeping my fingers crossed for everyone else waiting to test!!

@Eggsellenté 11mm is ace! My clinic wants anything over 7mm. Think I was 7.5mm with my first fet which resulted in my son.

I have my baseline scan tomorrow hoping that’s all good and then will go for transfer next cycle so by the time I actually do the transfer I think it will be around 28th April so much later than everyone here. 😞

Kr0 · 01/04/2025 14:36

@Foreverhoping33 my transfer is currently booked for 30th April so I will be right here with you.

Congratulations for the BFP. Fingers crossed for everyone else.

Foreverhoping33 · 01/04/2025 14:37

@Kr0 oh that’s great! We can keep each other company through the tww!

SP83 · 01/04/2025 21:08

Is it just me or is anyone else getting really emotional at this stage?

ForeverHopeful17 · 02/04/2025 08:54

@TTCK8Congratulations on your BFP! Wishing you a happy, healthy and uneventful 9 months! Hopefully this is the first of many BFP’s on this thread ✨

@Eggsellenté an 11mm lining is 🤩 mine was 8.2mm last Friday so booked in for a transfer this Friday (4th April) feeling hopeful and anxious at the same time!

OneQuirkyPanda · 02/04/2025 12:38

Hi! Can I join?

Myself and my wife are doing reciprocal IVF as I have very low AMH due to endo. We did 1 round of mild IVF and only got one low quality (4CC) day 6 blast (although the embryologist told us it was average quality so maybe their grading system is different), which they are freezing today. I am on day 3 of my cycle, and taking Estradiol twice a day, and am booked in for a day 8 scan on Monday, so will hopefully be having a FET soon.

Not feeling too positive to be honest! But have seen others have success with a 4CC which gives me a bit of hope.

CleverGoldBalonz · 02/04/2025 19:46

Jumping onto this thread! I did my first FET yesterday. It was such a surreal experience, and cant believe how quickly it was over! Now the tww! Not going crazy just yet, although have taken two days off work so I can be as calm as a cucumber! My workplace is really stressful and the acupuncturist would have prefer i took two weeks off. Looking forward to journeying with you ladies!

welcome and good luck!! I’m on my first FET and have my blood test tomorrow eek! Every twinge I’m questioning right now!

Good on you for taking some time off, put your feet up and watch some trashy tv! I’ve worked through but I work from home so it’s not been too bad.

Hopefulheart77 · 03/04/2025 13:33

@TTCK8 congratulations on your BFP! fingers crossed for more BFPs in this group!

@SP83 best of luck for tomorrow!!

@CleverGoldBalonz welcome to the group! Do you mind if I ask you about your acupuncture? I started acupuncture in January and I have been reading a lot about doing acupuncture the day before transfer and the day of transfer but I’m a little nervous. How did you find it? Are you continuing acupuncture in your TWW?

CleverGoldBalonz · 03/04/2025 19:05

@Hopefulheart77 We did accupunture the day of transfer, both a few hours beforehand and then few hours after. My acupuncturist was an ex midwife, so I absolutely love all sessions with her. The protocols were different though before your fet vs after. Before fet, they put needles and heat lamp on abdomen, after FET there are no more needles on abdomen, and headlamps. I don't think I will be going as often once pregnant, and only once during the tww, not every week. I will follow my acupuncturist instructions on that. Now the hot word in our house is "zen", keeping me "zen" lol.

@SP83 Goodluck for today. Finger and toes crossed all goes well. If I could I would smother you in baby dust!

CleverGoldBalonz · 03/04/2025 19:09

Does this mean we would all have December babies under the Christmas tree? Lol

When I mentioned that during the FET. The nurse and doctor told me that they have had alot of patients avoid March/April coz they didn't want December babies. Which I thought was quite sad actually.

Eggsellenté · 03/04/2025 22:15

@CleverGoldBalonzsounds sad indeed. But now that we are all in this process I hope we all have Christmas baby! 😊

I just had my transfer today. The tough tww begins!
