Anybody else starting or in middle of treatment?

Bit about my experience so far..
My last treatment was in december and had to come to a stop after finding a polyp during the scan. Have since removed the polylp and given the green light to go again. currently on estrodiol and due for a lining thickness scan next week. If all goes to plan I think the frozen transfer will be during 1st wk of april (Fingers X’ed!)

I am on day two. So not too far ahead.

I question everything I am doing at the moment. Am I sleeping the right position? Is my laptop considered heavy weight haha? Is my shower too hot? Is my body temperature controlled? I could probably drive myself mental.

Husband kicked my out of the house yesterday to meet up with friends as I was probably driving him bonkers haha. His favorite word "you need yo be zen".

@OneQuirkyPandaa little c grade embryo sounds great! I have a son through previous rounds and he was a C grade embryo but an A* baby and now crazy toddler! Lots of hope to have with a little C embryo ☺️.

Jumping on if that’s ok! I did a round of IVF and early Feb but was at risk of OHSS and there were complications during egg collection so switched to a freeze all cycle! We have 2 frozen embryos and i started on stims friday last week, had a scan today and i’m not ready yet to trigger so back again on Monday for a scan. The provisional plan is to trigger Monday evening and then FET on 14th of April. Wishing the days away at the moment, i’m so impatient.

Thank you @TTCK8! I got my blood results today and it’s positive 🥳 I was starting to feel symptoms but then questioning if it was just the horrible medicine. Still a bit cautious as I’ve had a few losses before so just taking it one scan at a time. Week 6 Scan booked in 4 days late on 22nd April due to Easter bank holiday delaying things.

@CleverGoldBalonz i can very much relate to over thinking things (especially the hot showers!). And work has been stressful and then I’ve been stressing about stressing!

@Twittwoo2020 welcome! I also did freeze all due to OHSS risk. Good luck for Mondays scan 🤞

Unfortunately my blood test came back negative yesterday.

Did anyone get any spotting since transfer day?
I had my transfer on 3rd april, and on 5th I saw a tiny drop of watery light red spot when I wiped after a wee. Hasnt appeared again after. Hope its not a bad sign!

Also, curious to know what is everybodys symptoms so far before test day?

@Eggsellenté i didn’t have any spotting, but i suppose that could be implantation 🤞

I didn’t really have many symptoms before testing. I was cramping since transfer right up until missed period. I was also having trouble sleeping and waking up with a hollow hungry feeling. Outside of that nothing… and I still don’t really have any symptoms!

Unfortunately I didn’t get a positive this time. I only had the one embryo from my last cycle as I was too unwell for a fresh transfer and so no more FETs for me. Will have an appointment soon with the clinic to discuss whether there is any logic in future rounds given my poor egg count and quality.

Has anyone here used unknown donor eggs before? Just wondering if anyone had been through the process and could provide any guidance as it may be my only option moving forwards.

Hi all, hope it's ok to join. Just been reading through the thread and can relate to so much that you're all going through. We had 2 cycles of IVF 7 yrs ago. Cycle 1= 1 blastocyst BFN, cycle 2 got us our son plus a frostie that didn't take. So, we've tried again after being resigned to stop and are awaiting my day 1 so can start meds have FET as now have 2 4AA frozen blasts having used an egg donor this time. @wishfulbean feel free to message me, i had some counseling first, it's been a rollercoaster as it always is, but it's our only option. I wish I'd done it sooner! Don't lose hope. @SP83 so sorry to hear of your negative test, it's so hard and I really do feel for you. @Twittwoo2020 everything crossed for you!

@TTCK8 @Kr0 @Sara237 @Eggsellenté thank you, it’s been hard to process and I’m not doing too great. After 5 rounds we finally had one embryo to transfer. Back to the clinic this week to see what’s best now.

@wishfulbean sorry to hear about your negative too, hope you are looking after yourself.

So just had a call from the clinic, my FET is cancelled as the cyst they found is producing a lot of progesterone. I’m so disappointed, this is the third time I’ve taken this medication for a transfer and it’s been cancelled. Their plan is to just hope it’s gone after my next period, but every scan I’ve had so far has shown a cyst of some sort so I’m not hopeful.

@OneQuirkyPanda so sorry to hear this. I had a cancellation in the past too due to polyp. The waiting (again) and redoing the meds and getting back into the process is all alot to handle. I hope they resolve the problem for you so can try again asap 🤞

I am in middle of my tww, and I caved in and tested early (really regret it!) and got a bfn :( trying hard not to have a meltdown! Sigh

My transfer was also cancelled today due to a 2cm cyst found in my womb lining which she said was very rare. She said it looked like a pregnancy sac and made me take a test which was of course negative. It wasn’t on any of my other scans this cycle. The doctor said she’d need to consult with other doctors and then they’ll book me a consultation in 2 weeks.
I’m not sure what happens now especially with the finance side as I have paid in full and they did defrost and have me prepped then cancelled and had to refreeze so I can’t see them refunding much. We can’t afford to pay the full amount again for another go so I think we might just have to call it a day now sadly.

People really have no idea of how tough this process is, tough and draining.
@OneQuirkyPanda that must be so frustrating, everything crossed for you that it's gone by next scan and you can just get on with it. @Eggsellenté I'd have done the same but you know it's too early and isn't a valid result yet so I hope you're not feeling too crushed...
@AlwaysBad how confusing that it wasn't on any other scans at 2cm...that's a lot to process and now worrying about fees too. Can you do one step at a time while waiting for consult, find out about finances to hopefully put your mind at rest? As they've not done transfer, would you not get another attempt included? Especially if they missed the cyst in other scans? What a sack of shit this business is...sorry for my language. We just all really deserve an easier ride. Spent the afternoon in the park listening to a mum repeatedly telling her multiple kids to fuck off... 😭
Got my period today so I'll be having FET at end of month if no curveballs appear. Every stage is chronic stress isn't it? Sending calming, hopeful vibes.

@Sara237 yeah it was very odd. I was at the clinic for over 3 hours having scans and having more and more doctors looking. She said it was incredibly rare and she still isn’t sure why it’s happened or exactly what it is.

My signed forms state no refund after thaw so I’m assuming that’s it for that. If cancelled before the thaw you do get money back but not after. I have a follow up consultation with them in 2 weeks so I guess I’ll see for definite then.

Finally got my P so we have lift off! Day 2 of progynova. Yesterday had awful tiredness and headache but better today. Here I go again...eek.

I transferred today and am currently resting. Ate my mcdonald’s chips afterward lol. Was trying to convince the clinic to let me do Beta bloods on friday 25th but they are insisting on waiting until the Monday 🙄 Im super impatient but here goes me entering the TWW!

So sorry girls about the cancelled cycles it must be so frustrating and disappointing, hope you are all doing okay 💕
I Have my half way scan tomorrow praying for thick lining and then hopefully get the transfer date confirmed.

Hey everyone! Congrats to those with their BFPs and good luck to everyone in tww 🤞hope you don’t mind if I join? I had first egg collection in Jan but fresh transfer failed, but luckily had 3 embryos to freeze so now prepping for FET. Had scan on day 12 end of last week but my lining wasn’t where it needed to be so increased estrogen and have follow up scan tomorrow, hoping lining has progressed and we get transfer booked in. Looks like I’m similar timelines hopefully to you @Hopefulheart77 💜
