Hi all, looking to start a chat with anyone transferring February or March time. I have my baseline scan booked in next week and if all goes to plan then I'll start treatment & have my second frozen transfer on 4th March. My first FET in September 2024 sadly failed 😞
Any transfer buddies?

@KenIsAnAccessory wow, 16 days is really late! But yeah, I mean a positive is a positive.
It's funny how the clinics all scan at different times too. Mine leave it until 8 weeks which might as well be forever. 🤣

KenIsAnAccessory · 24/02/2025 12:55

Yeah, I can't remember when scan was last time but I'm hoping it's at 7 weeks not 8 🙈

16 days is laughable really, I've been testing positive since 3.5dpt 🤣 But I suppose based on my past experience no point concluding it's positive scheduling in a scan til slightly later!

GreenLemonade · 24/02/2025 13:23

@TSHconfusion Thank you!😊yes, it was a euploid embryo.

My clinic tests at 14 days post transfer and I've been told they scan 2 weeks after the test, so around 7 weeks. I really hope they do because I have a holiday booked at the end of March and I really would like to know if this is a viable pregnancy before I go!

Orangewillow · 24/02/2025 15:09

Back to the clinic I go for the second time today... progesterone blood test showed I'm a bit low and need an injection which is making me feel anxious, although they said it works quickly and they can retest for progesterone tomorrow when I'm in for transfer. They seem relaxed and have a plan, I'm just so anxious about things going wrong!

Oh @Orangewillow I hope you are feeling OK. I know it's not ideal but it's great that they tested and it was discovered before the transfer! I would trust your clinic and I'm sure they wouldn't give you the injection if they didn't think it would work.

I've got everything crossed for you tomorrow! X

Orangewillow · 24/02/2025 16:27

Thank you! I now have 12 days of butt injections to look forward to, with a huge needle, been warned they'll hurt. YAY

paintfairy · 24/02/2025 17:12

@Orangewillow not ideal but at least the clinic are on the ball. Do they do in house progesterone tests? So the results are quick?

SkyeLight · 24/02/2025 17:18

Hi ladies, a lot to catch up with here!
congrats on positive results, and fingers crossed for those waiting!
Really interesting about progesterone levels and the injections needed on medicated cycle. I wish I could use pessaries!
I rang my clinic today, as I had a horrible night, woke up for a pee in buckets of sweat, very dizzy, nauseous and weak. Feeling better now but have weird headaches. Anyone experienced that? My clinic said most likely side effects of progesterone injection.
I’m going to give it a go again today,as otherwise the whole cycle would be cancelled, but I’m not sure if I can do it if same symptoms appear, feeling like I’m getting a flu and a stroke at the same time! 😂
@Orangewillow I really hope you will have no problem with injections. Butt hurts afterwards though unfortunately!

paintfairy · 24/02/2025 17:22

@SkyeLight I've been hot at night with the progesterone. Have they checked your levels? Just wondering if they are insanely high or something? But I struggled to walk the dog the this morning as I just had no energy and was boiling.

SkyeLight · 24/02/2025 17:28

They haven’t checked my progesterone, I will see how the night goes and ask them tomorrow. Maybe I can take lower dose, not sure.
@paintfairy wow, it does make you very tired so. I was planning on working as normal, taking only Friday off for transfer, but maybe I was too optimistic. Did you take time off work post transfer?

paintfairy · 24/02/2025 17:33

@SkyeLight the tiredness has only just started hitting me. I was ok before transfer and for a while after.

Cesas · 24/02/2025 18:01

Thank you, transfer went well. Away for a few days staycation so lots of resting and walks on the menu! Oh good luck @orangewillow and @TSHconfusion
hope the transfers go well for you too! 🤞

@TSHconfusion yeah I've had 2 egg collections. I only have one working ovary at the moment so max eggs I've collected is 5. But very lucky last time to manage to get 3 blasts! I've done no additional testing yet, as they keep saying it's a numbers game. We are lucky to get 3 rounds on the nhs so if this transfer and the next are unsuccessful I think we will do more testing but will have to travel to another clinic for that.

In regards to the lubion chat, I'm on a natural cycle and currently doing one lubion injection a day.

Also congrats to those who are positive on your test day!

Yes very true, I'm glad they're on it! Yes they can do them dame day, sounds like they'll potentially do another in the next couple of days but will see what they say tomorrow!

SkyeLight · 24/02/2025 18:45

@paintfairy hopefully that is a good pregnancy sign too!

@Cesas that is exciting and great plan to relax after the transfer. Fingers crossed it will be successful! Enjoy the next few days 🙂

KenIsAnAccessory · 25/02/2025 07:49

Still not OTD til tomorrow for me but I decided to chance a FRER and see if I could get my dye stealer and here she is! (Excuse my raggedy nails - been avoiding polish while doing IVF!)

paintfairy · 25/02/2025 09:36
