Hi all ☺️

I have had an IVF round in November and had a freeze all cycle. I have had a meeting with the consultant this morning and will be doing a FET in late December/early Jan.

Please join this thread if you are on a similar timescale πŸ’«

Arghhhh @Purpleflowers17 congratulations. That looks like a lovely line to me but good you're getting a blood test too if something is niggling at you. So we are 4weeks and 1 day pregnant with a due date of 16th October according to an app I checked at 4am this morning. πŸ˜‚

Thanks everyone for the congratulations- feels very surreal. Just came in and cried with my manager after years of heartache...it was lovely.

@Cosyseason1234 I'm sorry you're going through this but if it's still brown I'm sure it's OK...again very easy to say I know. Have you got your viability scan booked? Xx

Purpleflowers17 · 07/02/2025 12:29

@Cosyseason1234 sorry to hear about your spotting try not to worry. Try to relax if you can. I know it’s ironic coming from the person that’s also having a meltdown πŸ˜†

@Eagerlywaiting1990 28th Jan has hopefully been a very lucky day. That would make the due date the day before my birthday πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ delighted for you.

@Ginny91 enjoy being distracted it’s an amazing time for you.

I think it’s the fact this journey has been so hard for us to just even get to a transfer. How blissful it must be to women who can conceive naturally and completely unaware for weeks. Here we are all panicking from day 1. Very grateful to have this chat to discuss with people who truly understand ❀️

I have just eaten two sandwiches so clearly my hunger symptom is going strong 🀞🏻

Elena3 · 07/02/2025 12:52

@Cosyseason1234 I do hope that the appointment will give you at least some reassurance, although probably not so much can be done over the phone, I hope it is all implantation spotting rather than anything else! I remember a friend of mine who has 4 children had a lot of brown spotting in her first trimester, she was very worried and went to doctors, it all turned out all right! xx

Ginny91 · 07/02/2025 13:06

@Eagerlywaiting1990 @Purpleflowers17 I also did that calculator you really were up half the nightπŸ˜‚I'm having a right old wobble now because my line was quite faint really @Mseddy yours looks so good & thanks for sharing!

Going to test again tomorrow and the clinic will do bloods (for Β£75 eurgh) if i'm still worried I'll book it in for Monday. I agree with that IVF never lets you have 5 mins happiness !!!

Very grateful for the amazing women on here xxxxx

Eagerlywaiting1990 · 07/02/2025 14:52

Awww @Purpleflowers17 I'm an October birthday too 😍. What a lovely birthday present we might have this year.

@Ginny91 ah sorry you're panicking too. I've got quite dark lines but my head is going to the same places- "could this really be it?" "1/4 pregnancies end in miscarriage". My husband laughed at how quickly I moved from one worry to the next. Xx

Cosyseason1234 · 07/02/2025 15:20

@Ginny91 @Eagerlywaiting1990 @Purpleflowers17 @Elena3 thank you so much for your lovely words ❀️

My GP was lovely and said not to be worried unless there is red blood, apparently they don’t worry or refer to EAPU with brown discharge below 8 weeks.

I am just thinking what will be will be,we are in a lovely cottage for the weekend so going to enjoy some beautiful walks and food and hopefully get some peace πŸ§˜β€β™€οΈ

hope everyone is doing well and can also find some peace and the belief that everything will work out and not constantly worry πŸ˜‚β€οΈ very grateful for this group!

Thanks lovelies, I've come home & calmed down a bit, there are 2 lines and the line is clearly there, I'm not going mental I promise πŸ’›

@Eagerlywaiting1990 & @Purpleflowers17 that's so sweet about your October birthdays, my birthday is in June otherwise this would be too much of a coincidence for all 3 of us! πŸ˜‚

@Cosyseason1234 a cosy cottage sounds like heaven! Well deserved xx

Eagerlywaiting1990 · 07/02/2025 15:56

@Ginny91 πŸ˜‚ that would be far too coincidental. I'm glad the lines are bringing you a bit more reassurance now...Hard not to overthink everything.

@Cosyseason1234 that's exactly what you needed to hear. Your weekend sounds like an absolute delight too ❀...just exactly what you are needing. Hope you have a lovely chilled time xx

Guys I caved and tested at 4dp5dt....and got a vfl πŸ₯Ή now for the anxiety to snowball until beta day 🀣

Yay @Daniki this is amazing news! Congratulations πŸ₯°

MS2692 · 08/02/2025 06:50

Morning all!

Hope everyone’s doing well and so lovely seeing all the positive comments πŸ₯°

I’ve convinced myself this morning that I’m having an ectopic πŸ™ƒ I’ve had stomach pains/cramps since 5pm yesterday and still here this morning (not eaten anything dodgy) and I did another CB weeks indicator which is still only showing 2-3 weeks (first showed 2-3 weeks last Sunday so practically a week ago) xx

Eagerlywaiting1990 · 08/02/2025 07:12

@MS2692 this whole thing is brutal, even after a BFP! Is the cramping particularly sore? I've cramped on and off since transfer so hopefully it's not anything sinister. Do you have a date for your viability scan?

Also clearblue get a bad reputation for not being sensitive so I wouldn't read into that too much yet. So sorry you're feeling this way though, everything feels so fragile at this stage xx

MS2692 · 08/02/2025 07:43

@Eagerlywaiting1990 it really is just when you get over one hurdle you’ve got to wait for another feels like a never ending worry with no point to relax and enjoy!

I’m concerned about the cramps because it’s only stomach cramps and they’re quite painful! I’m hoping they disappear at some point today 🀞🏻 if I’m still having them by tomorrow evening I will call the clinic on Monday morning I think, I know they won’t be able to scan to check for ectopic but might have an idea of how to check xx

Cosyseason1234 · 08/02/2025 09:47

Hi @MS2692 so sorry to hear you are also on the verge πŸ€¦πŸ»β€β™€οΈπŸ˜‚ if it helps at all I mentioned ectopic to my GP (because of the brown discharge) yesterday and he said it would be very painful. Also HCG levels vary massively in everyone! I’ve got another clearblue to do next week but I’m going to try and keep away from it as it will send me spiralling.

cramps could be the devil progesterone messing with your digestive tract!

hope the cramps go off for you and you can get some peace this weekend ❀️

That's not necessarily true about the ectopic being painful unfortunately πŸ˜ͺ mines started off with brown spotting that's how I discovered mines, never had a single bit of pain. Iv history of miscarriages so I got scanned and discovered it.

I always tell everyone if they have spotting to push for a scan, mines could have turned out so much worse if it wasn't discovered in time ❀️

Ginny91 · 08/02/2025 10:43

How’s everyone doing today? I slept terribly but tested twice more and feeling much more confident in the BFP πŸ₯³

Oh gosh sorry my thread hadn’t loaded properly and I didn’t see everyone’s morning posts and worries I’m so sorry my post looks so insensitive! Not intentional I promise and hope you’re ok @MS2692 xx

MS2692 · 08/02/2025 11:17

@Cosyseason1234 thank you that’s reassuring, I’ve actually booked a private blood test tomorrow as I can’t help myself going crazy can’t believe we’ve got over a fortnight until our scans πŸ˜©πŸ€¦πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ

@paulliee sorry to hear what you’ve been through πŸ˜” I haven’t had any spotting but I am on x3 cyclogest a day so I think that would mask any spotting! It’s the stomach cramps that are concerning me they’ve been constant on/off since 5pm yesterday

@Ginny91 please do not apologise!! This is great news I’m so happy the lines are obviously darker so it’s given you the reassurance πŸ₯°

Daniki · 08/02/2025 12:15

@MS2692 try not stress too much could be just progesterone or just all the natural process. Because we go through ivf etc we just automatically think the worst because we've went through so much to get to this point. As for clearblue I absolutely detest them tests they are the worse especially the weeks indicator. They are notorious for being wrong and if you searched clearblue on here you would find thousands of posts of people worrying. My first(and only successful pregnancy) I used a clearblue weeks indicator and it went me into an absolute spiral so I steer clear of that brand altogether. Boots 5 days earlier for the win! Also progesterone wouldn't mask the spotting, I had it with my last pregnancy which I miscarried and I was spotting in and off for 2 weeks. So I'm hoping this reassures you a bit πŸ˜‰

I have been absolutley crippled with a migraine since yest that won't go away. It's actually the initial reason I tested because I thought the hormones were driving it(as usually the case for me) my migraine tablet isn't working so having to ride it out and it's not pleasant 🫣🀣

paintfairy · 08/02/2025 13:53

@MS2692 yeah, @Daniki is right and the clear blue weeks indicator ones are quite behind on what they say. So you won't get 3+ at the point you are 3 weeks and some people actually never get it to say 3+. But everything is still fine.

I have to say that none of it gets better. You think you will at the 8 week scan. Nope. Then the 12. Nope. And I can honestly say you do not feel any better until they are born. Or believe it until then. So i can't say anything to make anyone feel better. 🀣 I'm jealous of people who naturally do get pregnant and just are blissfully unaware of the stress that some of us go through. I'll also point out that every extra scan you have- you will be ecstatic that day and feel reassurance. Until tomorrow. πŸ™ˆπŸ€£ The point you can feel them kicking does become slightly easier though. It's a huge rollercoaster from beginning to end. But I've got my fingers crossed for everyone! 🀞

On another note- these injections I'm on are horrible. Keeping me awake at night with annoying hands and feet. Which is usually a progesterone thing (you can look forwards to that), so it's surprised me that these are doing it. I'm definitely dreading the menopause as I hate hormones! Who'd be a woman......

Daniki · 08/02/2025 13:57

@paintfairy exactly, god the joy does be sucked right out of it and replaced with anxiety πŸ€£πŸ™ˆ I'd love to be put in a coma and woken up at birth time 🀣
