I have had an IVF round in November and had a freeze all cycle. I have had a meeting with the consultant this morning and will be doing a FET in late December/early Jan.

@Kirstie16 im so sorry you have had such a confusing experience today. Is it even possible to see a heartbeat at 5 weeks pregnant? I don’t think there is even a heartbeat at 5 weeks? I’ve got everything crossed that your blood results tomorrow bring you some clarity and peace. The paranoia everytime I go for a wee is real! My clinic weren’t concerned about the brown discharge and said it is prob cervix irritation,no point pushing for a blood test as OTD isn’t until 15dp5dt 🤦🏻‍♀️

@Cosyseason1234 so glad you got the reassurance from the clinic, I had no idea about the cervix causing spotting but I think it’s actually very common, has it stopped?

@Kirstie16 I am so sorry you must be so anxious I really hope you get a call early tomorrow with results to reassure you x

Well I've ended up admitted to hospital with quinsy. On some strong IV antibiotics and fluids. They can't give me the steroid I need because of little embaby. I'm not feeling hopeful that he/she could have survived all this though! What a day :(

Oh gosh @Mseddy you're really going through it :( do you have to stay overnight?? Really hope you get better soon

And @Kirstie16 that sounds horrendous! I absolutely hate when doctors/ nurses disagree about stuff it just sends your head in a whirlwind. I agree with everyone else's comments, hoping some clarity coming your way xx

@Mseddy you poor thing! I had that as a teenager and still remember the pain. Hope you'll be OK! Drink plenty of fluids for your little embryo! Xx

Sorry @Purpleflowers17 I missed this, thanks for checking in! Doing ok but soooo tired; I keep falling asleep when I get home from work & I'll be out for like 30 mins.. Also my boobs are definitely affected, might be hormones, but they feel massive! Howre you? Almossst been one week since transfer 😳

@Cosyseason1234 glad the clinic gave you some reassurance about spotting! And thanks for sharing about it because its v reassuring for us all too <3

Oh Jesus hope you're ok! Try not to worry too much about the embryo, they're tougher than you think 💪

They've got me on IV fluids so at least I'll be well hydrated! Trying to just focus on the now and not think about the next few days too much.

@Mseddy you poor thing, there’s nothing worse than being in hospital never mind when your worried about your little embaby 😔 I hope the antibiotics help, you’re in the right place and they will make you stronger to carry your little embaby all the way ♥️ we’re all here for you!

@Cosyseason1234 no the consultant said he wouldn’t expect to see a heartbeat at them levels and then I rang my clinic and they said they wouldn’t scan and say no heartbeat until 7 weeks. Just so horrendous because all I kept thinking was I can’t go through this again (I had an ectopic 4 years ago)

@Ginny91 boobs feel massive here as well think it’s the hormones though. As they feel one day big one day normal so all over place.
It’s been the longest week!! I have been falling asleep as well and feel exhausted even though getting good sleep.

@Mseddy I’m sorry to hear you are in hospital hopefully being there helps you recover quick. Look after you and embryo.

@Ginny91 @MS2692 thanks so much for the kind words ❤️ fingers crossed it’s stopped! I’m going to carry on with not doing pessaries vaginally and hopefully it keeps it at bay. God IVF is glam 🤣

@Kirstie16 thinking of you! I read in another thread to say ‘today I am pregnant’ to yourself and it really helped me stop panicking on Sunday.

@Mseddy hope you are feeling abit better after some IV fluids ❤️ like @Daniki said embryos are tougher than you think xx

@Cosyseason1234 that’s great news it’s stopped! 🤗 yes I’d definitely use the back way (I much prefer it, less mess and waiting 😂) as that’s definitely what causes mine with my first! When is your OTD? ☺️ sorry if I’ve already asked! X

@Cosyseason1234 I came home about 2am after they lanced the abscess 🤮 but I had to come back this morning because I couldn't talk or swallow. So I'm back on more fluids. Feeling loads better after some pain relief though.

In other good news, I must have one hell of a stubborn embryo on board! 5dp5dt, quickly checked this morning so I could say for certain to the hospital if I was and there is a lovely line for 5dt. Stronger than DD was at 6dp. So just hoping they still around on this crazy ride!

God thats annoying! ah yes so atleast 7 theyre looking for isnt it? Hopefully a few more days and you be good to go! you're on estrogen i assume yea?x

@Mseddy that’s fantastic news especially after all you have been through congratulations. Your little embryo is tough as well as you. Hope you continue to feel better now 🤞🏻

@Daniki no, I'm not on anything. Natural cycle. But their lack of checking much is not filling me with confidence.

What an absolute little trooper your embryo is and your body still ramping up that hcg production as well as fighting a virus 👏🏻 you deserve a few days solid rest after this!

@Mseddy you & your embryo are doing incredibly!! Hope you do catch a break really soon, this week is horrendous enough without being in & out of hospital! xxxxx

I'm only 2dp5dt and already stressing and feeling like it hasn't worked/won't work. It's my first one so no idea how my body should be responding. When did people start to notice any changes?

@OneWaryCat don't stress. You won't be feeling anything yet. At that stage your embryo is probably still hatching and finding their way to your lovely lining! I've not felt anything this time, I've been a bit sick but I think that's more to do with being unwell!
