I have had an IVF round in November and had a freeze all cycle. I have had a meeting with the consultant this morning and will be doing a FET in late December/early Jan.

@Eagerlywaiting1990 my AF is due today! Every time I go to the toilet, I have this big fear that may arrive. Last time it failed by 6dpt so even more fearful today! I oddly want to start feeling nauseous and cramps what an odd feeling the tww is 😂

Good luck @Daniki, what time is your transfer? I'm glad you're not feeling unwell anymore, hopefully it was something brief or a mix of nerves and the meds.

@Mseddy congratulations, that's so exciting! I hope the line is more definite in a few days.

When did you all start to get symptoms from the medication? I've been on progesterone for a few days now, and have no symptoms, which is worrying me.

@Waitingformystork I have been on progesterone for a long time now, well, my transfer was 27th January and I started couple of weeks before if I remember correctly, I have no side effects whatsoever x

@Eagerlywaiting1990 that's how I was last time. I didn't want to know if it hadn't worked and so I didn't test until the day before OTD. And I preferred the answer to be clear. Got the shock of my life when it was positive. 🤣
@Mseddy babies survive much worse than what you are putting it through. I don't think it'll make a difference. Admittedly though it must be awful feeling so rubbish!

@paintfairy did you get a date for you transfer yet?

@Waitingformystork I never really get any symptoms from progesterone the odd boob tingle here and there 😂

Just had a call with blood results HCG is 435 at 13dp5dt which is much less than I was hoping for but she reassured me it’s not a bad number they look for anything over 100 now the three week wait for viability scan 🤞🏻

That's a really good number. Mine at 10dp5dt was 314 when they called to tell me. I was chuffed. Countdown for scan now yay.

@MS2692 that's great, my clinic wants it to be at 150+ at 14dpt!

My blood test is booked for Valentine's Day so hoping it's a nice present for us both(I'm sure I'll know beforehand 😂)

Not much planned we still have no power (day 11) from that storm we had (I'm in Ireland) so will to and regain some order in the house. Will go and buy a few hot water bottles to keep around the house 😂

@MS2692 do they check again for rise? Or do you just get a one off? My clinic don't do HCG bloods.

I'm having the worst day ever :( I feel like utter shit. My mum has the same bug and lives 2 hours away (she was here until Friday). I couldn't get in contact with her at all today despite over 20 calla. It had been 17 hours. Had to get a neighbour to go round. She's awake now and I've spoken to her, but she doesn't sound right at all!! So confused. Trying to manage this from 2 hours away, poorly and PUPO is just ALOT! :(

@Daniki oh my word - no power is absolutely brutal. I'm irish too but live in scotland....think you lot got it even worse than we did over here. Hope it goes back on soon and definitely keep cosy. I've been wearing two pairs of socks since transfer day cause I have such cold feet 😂.

@Mseddy my clinic don't do hcg bloods either. So sorry to hear you're so unwell and that your mum now has it too. 😪 is there someone that lives close to your mum that can look after her? It definitely sounds like there's too much on your plate. The tww is miserable enough xxx

@Eagerlywaiting1990 my brother is going to go round after work. My aunty has already popped round and said shes just tired, but it seems like more when I talk to her on the phone

@Mseddy no they only do a one off and that’s it until the 7 week scan but I tested 2-3wks on CB last night so I figure if I test in that again in about 10 days if it shows 3+wks then HCG is rising?

That's good lovely. She's probably just feeling as crappy as you are. Hopefully with a bit of rest she'll start to feel better.

@Mseddy oh no. What a worry! And definitely not what you need.

@Daniki I'm still not feeling all that confident! Scan was this morning. They've called this afternoon to say they want me to have another scan Thursday. But that's a whole CD later than the one they did last month, and missed it. 🤷‍♀️ Whether they can tell I'm not going to go early this month or not, I've no idea. But I'm not actually that confident. I have however bought a load of LH strips so I can monitor that and have some clue what's happening. I just don't trust their guesswork. But (assuming it goes ahead) my guess would be midweek next week.

@Daniki thank you that’s reassuring! Our OTD fell on husbands bday but like you say I couldn’t wait that long so ruined it 🤦🏼‍♀️😂

@Mseddy so sorry to hear everything that’s going on with you, hope your Mum is ok 😔🤞🏻 it’s always the way isn’t it that the one time you need everything to just be normal and stable everything goes crazy

Haha my birthday and then my OH birthday on the 14th 🤣
I dont thinking would have been able to hold off testing till OTD this time around. Especially having to wait that long.

@Eagerlywaiting1990 yeah far too long I couldn’t bare 13dp! I tested negative 5dp and got the faintest line on an FRER 7dp but also got a super faint one on 9dp and 10dp then finally got a dark enough one to feel slightly hopeful about at 11dp and at 12dp (yesterday) I couldn’t believe it came up as 2-3 on a CB … as you can tell there was no way I could wait 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️

@Cosyseason1234 how are you feeling today?
I got nothing but more questions today and heartache. They scanned me and told me there was no heartbeat then said they thought I was having an ectopic pregnancy. I then waited and spoke to a consultant who didn’t agree with what the ladies told me who scanned me and said it would be too early for there to be a heartbeat and my levels were 664 so they wouldn’t expect a heartbeat so I’ve got to have more bloods tomorrow and pray they have risen 😩

Yes @MS2692 that's right! That's what gives me the fear though! I'd have ruled myself out too...and what a rollercoaster to then get a positive. Definitely something to tell your wee one when they're bigger! 😅 xx

@Kirstie16 oh goodness. What a way to mess with your head! Not knowing isn't fun but I think you need to try and keep distracted so you don't drive yourself crazy. I hope you get a clearer picture from your bloods.

@paintfairy god it's a headfuck too, hope you get clearer answers on Thursday 🤞🏻 what did they say about your lining?

@Kirstie16 jesus that's a traumatising appointment for sure 😭 how many weeks should you be? I do think I read levels need to be over 1500 to see a heartbeat so if yours is below that, that's hopefully the only reason you haven't seen it yet! You poor thing I can imagine you're up the walls 😭
