I have had an IVF round in November and had a freeze all cycle. I have had a meeting with the consultant this morning and will be doing a FET in late December/early Jan.

I tested at 4dp5dt 🤣 I honestly have no control! It was positive but it was torture waiting until beta day then, as I was using shite tests and they weren't getting much darker. Changed to boots tests and the results were amazing then so I could relax 🤣telling myself this time round I won't test early, but iv tests in the press already so who am I kidding 😂

@Daniki 😂😂 i have taken the approach of not buying tests, none in the house, so I can't test in a moment of panic

Also @Cosyseason1234 pretty sure my clinic said avoid baths 😔

@cleggrickman I’ve just done exactly the same 🤣 I think I’ll start bathing again from Sunday in warmish water,a shower just does not hit the same!

@SlinkMcSlink you are so right! I think alot of it is pure luck/genetics.

Also am I overreacting, I haven’t told anyone except my best friend about the transfer (I personally don’t want people asking me for updates etc and want it to be private) and my OH has told his family?! His mom and nan have messaged me tonight and it’s sent me spiralling. I’ve not even told my own mom and don’t want to have to tell people it’s not worked etc. Could be overreacting but I’m hormonal and nauseous and fuming tbh 😂

I don't think you're overreacting @Cosyseason1234 I have only told 2 people and DH and I discussed who could know, he doesn't feel the need for support with it whereas I do so I needed to have a few people to talk to about it. Has you're OH told them maybe for support? Either way I'm sorry it has upset you ❤️

Thank you @HopefullyonedaysoonI am the same I needed the support, he went for dinner with his dad last night and told him but forgot to say don’t tell anyone else 🤦🏻‍♀️ don’t get me wrong it’s lovely that they are excited but I just wanted this time to be for us to process whatever the result is. IVF is such a journey and I don’t think you ever truly get it unless you have been through it! Grateful for this community ❤️

Not at all @Cosyseason1234 I’ve told about 4 people , did not need the extra stress . I would be angry too . Regretting telling my mum anything now as it’s made it so stressful

bleeding still going, pain less agonising . Think I’ll just test in the morning least then if any hint of a line can maybe try to sort some progesterone extra before the weekend

@Rebekah77 the pressure of people knowing really adds to the stress doesnt it! I’m glad the pain is easing for you and hopefully the spotting is meaningless 🤞

Yeah my mum likes to argue with me about it daily then wonders why I go quiet 😅 no strsss please lol

@Cosyseason1234 I would also be fuming. We've told no one but we can't, as we didn't tell anyone last time. 🤣 So now it would be just weird. My best friend knew after the event last time but I've still not told her this time. People that I don't know IRL, know, but I don't count those.

I suppose you maybe should have had the discussion with him beforehand? With us, it was actually him that wanted no one knowing. But you both need to be on the same page. Some people like everyone knowing but it's a personal thing really. For me- I wouldn't tell someone I'm having sex tomorrow as I want a baby, so why would you tell them this? 🤣

@paintfairy you are right,I’m glad I didn’t go too hard on him and on reflection I should have been 100% clear with my communication 😂

its such a private thing and unfortunately IVF takes so much of that privacy away got to grasp onto any sort of control that we can 🤣

@Cosyseason1234 glad it went well! Good luck. Pleasant? 🤣 To be fair i think the experience is OK. The part i struggle with is the full bladder. 🙈 I'm not great at holding it (I've realised this is much worse in my LP for some reason).

@paintfairy maybe pleasant was abit far 🤣 but the staff were so lovely and guided us through it and then we had a fabulous breakfast so all in all a successful morning 👏🏻

So I have 2 clinics as such. My satellite clinic where all my appointments are based and then care fertility for transfer. My BETA is already booked in for 3rd 😬

Take two for me, the clinic have said I'm good to start again on the FET cycle... 3 progynova a day, plus patches, plus some other medication I can't remember the name of... quite worried about how it's going to make me feel, I was headachey and really bloated just on 2 progynova but really really hoping I get there this time and my lining cooperates!

2 embryos safely on board. We did lose one in the process so we have 2 left in the freezer. Now to be zen and pray to every god that they nuzzle down!
