Hi all ☺️

I have had an IVF round in November and had a freeze all cycle. I have had a meeting with the consultant this morning and will be doing a FET in late December/early Jan.

Please join this thread if you are on a similar timescale πŸ’«

Ahh congratulations to you too. How are you feeling?

We transferred on Jan 7th, got the first positive on the 14th. Our scan is the 6th... this is very nerve-wracking, and I'm not feeling any symptoms now apart from a few cramps, which is adds to the concern!

I'm trying to relax haha. Waiting for Thursday to come around quick for the blood test and then I think after passing each stage will feel a little more relief. I actually thought I was out this time. I tested yday morning and when I first looked there was nothing so I sat and cried and then got off the toilet and kept saying it's okay it's okay. And when I reached down to pick up both the tests I saw two lines and omg I was a mixture of emotions. Straight away messaged my husband. Told him not to shout at me for testing early. 🀣 I didn't want to say anything on here yet because I don't know how far along g everyone is on their journey

@monicabella1234 @Sherr33 wonderful news, congratulations to you both ❀️❀️

I'm only 4dp5dt today, husband doesn't want to test early, I'm already struggling with the waiting

Elena3 · 21/01/2025 09:44

@Mseddy , good luck with that scan :)

@Cosyseason1234 surprisingly no headaches whatsoever! I feel great, maybe a bit of water retention, but I will drink some herbal tea that helps with this tonight. I am starting progesterone on Wednesday, so don't know how this will go. After OHHS I think nothing will shock me anymore πŸ˜…

I was too. I kept getting cramps like I'm coming on and we had sat the night before and just said we'd hold off transfers for now and just get me detoxing and losing weight (which has been my concern since starting ivf/icsi) I was beyond shocked to see the ++
I wouldn't have tested that early I think I'm either 6 or 7 dp5dt. And I definitely didn't tell my partner I was going to test. I just needed it for me.
πŸ™ for your + too x

I'm praying there is more positives so we all have each other throughout the rest of the journey. It's scary and so anxiety ridden I feel like without thus community wouldn't have made it otherwise. πŸ’“

monicabella1234 · 21/01/2025 09:54

@Sherr33 that's exactly how I felt, my husband was in LDN and I tested, but I was feeling a bit mad to be honest. I defo felt rough over the weekend, around implantation time, had feelings like sore back, and headache, and terrible tears, which I hadn't experienced before.

Do you get a blood test with your clinic then? Mine doesn't do that.

Daniki · 21/01/2025 09:56

@monicabella1234 @Sherr33 congrats ladies, how exciting πŸ₯°πŸ₯³πŸ₯³ just waiting on my scan now to check lining πŸ™Œ

Cosyseason1234 · 21/01/2025 09:59

Same, mumsnet has literally taught me more than the clinic at times and definitely saved my mental health/overthinking more than once! @Sherr33

Yes I'm so glad they do them. I mean was driving myself insane about my progesterone levels but we don't test them at my clinic so atleast this will give me some peace of mind. I was feeling down it would have been my late brothers 27th birthday yesterday and I was going to go see him at the graveyard just because I end up missing him more around this time. And I thought I'm feeling down anyway let me just get this over and done with. Colour me shocked.

I'm still getting cramps and tugging here and there. And feel so tired and hungry at random times. Scan date will be here before you know it πŸ’“

Edited

I can say what I want without being made to feel I'm over reacting or crazy or stupid. My clinic on thr other hand has made me doubt myself so many times throughout πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ

It might just roll on as I think there is a few either feb transfers or feb tww

roowoop · 21/01/2025 12:33

Sorry for the quiet on my behalf, I’ve been focusing on work to try and keep a level head hahah!

Aaah congrats on the positives guys. Thats such such lovely news. I am also joining the BFP club. ❀️

Different kind of anxiety has entered the brain now! πŸ˜…

Sherr33 · 21/01/2025 08:07

Hi all

How many positives have we had so far on this group?

Who else is in the tww?

And who is transferring soon?

Thought we could all update each other on where we are at so everyone can stay in the loop. Because I for one keep forgetting.

πŸ’“

@Sherr33 I’ve got my transfer at 2:30 this afternoon 😬 dreading the TWW seems to go so slowly πŸ˜”

how are you?

Good luck with everything. I had mine similar time last Monday haha. The best feeling is being able to go to the loo straight after 🀣 do you have anything planned for the tww or will you be normal routine x

roowoop · 21/01/2025 13:29

good luck @MS2692 !!

hahaha @Sherr33 omg that post transfer pee is the best!!!

MS2692 · 21/01/2025 13:49

@Sherr33 thank you πŸ™πŸ»πŸ™πŸ» no plans but my boss is back for a week on Friday so I’ll probably be running around like a headless chicken which I’m grateful for πŸ˜‚ ahhh exciting, are you going to test before the official blood test? X

@roowoop thank you! πŸ™πŸ» I’m very hopeful but also desperately trying to stay level headed πŸ˜‚ how are you doing?

Waitingformystork · 21/01/2025 13:51

Congratulations on all the BFPs! That's amazing news, and gives me hope that the process can work :)

I am still waiting to have my first scan, which is booked in for Thursday. @Daniki I think my transfer date will be a similar time. From my own calculations I think it could happen between 5th-7th Feb. I find it really hard not knowing exactly when things will happen as part of this process, and having to wait until the doctors say it's go time.

Daniki · 21/01/2025 14:14

@Waitingformystork I know I was really hoping it would be next week, but not too long to wait and works out well for me as that Monday is a bank holiday (here in Ireland)

All the distractions will be so helpful, even if it is work!
Atm im suffering with so much bloating that I feel huge. I had this problem last time, I guess its the progesterone. Not that I should be complaining, I cant quite believe it yet really hahah.

@Waitingformystork all the unknown dates for things are SO painful arent they. thats deffo one of the hardest parts for me too. Hopefully youll get some clarity soon!

Cosyseason1234 · 21/01/2025 14:59
