Any peeps having IVF/ICSI/FET in Dec.
I am due to start meds 1st Dec this will be my frozen transfer from my 2nd cycle in August have stocked up on beetroot and pomegranate juice, looking for any tips 🙏🏼

Yes! I was due to have FET in November but moved to December 🥰 so glad that I did as November has been a washout!!

I have started my estrogen tablets today so all looks like it's on time

Hi @camelinastorm thank you for the tag! I had EC yesterday and am having a freeze all cycle due to OHSS risk. Mine will be a January transfer all being well,good luck to you for December transfer! @tpeas in the other thread is having a December transfer ☺️

36 year old, first IVF cycle with ICSI - starting stims tonight.

Need a Christmas miracle as severe male factor infertility and a rubbish AMH/AFC!

@ivfjourneyandme we also have MF my amh Aws 18.1 if I remember right, I'll be honest no idea if this is good or bad, we managed 10 mature eggs collected in August decided to have a few months break and chose to transfer in December, we had our first round of IVF last Dec that ended up a chemical so hoping this December is our month
Have they put you on high stims with low amh

@Cosyseason1234 I hope you are feeling ok after your egg collection I have heard ohss can be painful
I had a freeze all due to uneaven lining

Hey thanks for the tag from the other thread.

This is my first cycle of IVF (currently don't think we need ICSI but that might change at egg collection). I'm 39, amh 11 and afc 9.
We already have a DD who is 2.5 and naturally conceived within 6 cycles. I then fell accidentally pregnant 18 months ago, but it was ectopic and ruptured and lost my tube. We decided at that point we definitely wanted another and have been trying since but no luck.

I'm due to have egg collection weds next week, so far so good on stims. Today they saw 13 follicles so that's good. I have 3 cysts in 1 ovary and 1 in the other so that could complicate egg collection a bit but hopefully it'll be fine. They said they might have to drain the cysts.

My baseline scan before IVF was 3 follicles so it’s going to be really touch and go. I’m starting 300 overlap tonight, first scan on Monday but may have scope to increase. Nervous about first injection tonight as such a large volume I have to inject!

This is my first IVF with ICSI (male factor for us).
I am 38yo, AMH 17.4 and AFC 20. I am on a short cycle, started 225iu Meriofert yesterday, Ganirelix starts on Sunday and first monitoring scan is on Wednesday.
I have a 2.5yo daughter that was conceived naturally, we were preparing for IVF back in 2021 and just before meds were ordered, I had a positive pregnancy test! But we have not been able to conceive a second.

I almost qualify. Just did a FET early this week and will be testing early December. It's my third transfer and my last embryo🤞

I'm 37. AMH 16.9. Initial AFC 8 but first scan today showed 14 follicles, some bigger and some smaller.
We're MFI so are using donor sperm.
Have been on ovaleap stims for 5 days, started fyremadel this morning and another scan on Saturday. Egg collection currently scheduled for next Thursday!!
Feeling OK currently but there's always something new to find to worry about lol

I'll (hopefully) be doing an FET in Dec. Waiting for start of my period which is anytime from Sunday through to Wednesday depending on how long my cycle is this month.

My only concern is the timing, last day for a transfer is 22nd Dec and we are doing natural modified so all down to if my body is ready for transfer by that day if not we'll be moved into Jan. So a bit anxious about that but trying to relax a bit

Hi can I join too? I'll just be downregulating for my medicated FET this month so transfer likely to be end of jan/Feb. Fresh transfer didn't take but very much hoping this wee frostie will do the job xx

@pinksheetss that's great they will do up until the 22nd I am on a medication FET so started estrogen today as it's CD 1 so less than a week before you you, I am due to transfer on the 14th December my test day will be boxing day hoping for a Xmas miracle, such a hard time of year to have reasons not to be drinking , my family don't really believe in IVF they are like if it's ment to be it will happen naturally 🤔 think they should watch joy

Yay @ivfjourneyandme, hope you're feeling OK! I did my second injection today. It's funny how I feel very excited and very worried st the same time about all this... I hope we all happy smooth and successful journeys!

@hi @Eagerlywaiting1990 welcome, ohh interested in what down regs you are doing this is my first proper FET I had prostrap or something like last week and am now on estrogen tablets will start pessaries next week and then the week leading to my transfer progesterone injections

@camelinastorm will you test early or hold out until Boxing Day?

Still feels a long time until I'm back at the hospital and with my periods now not being exact regular and more on a 28-32 basis I'm over thinking when it will arrive and then it will be day 10 I'm in for a scan

Partnrr had sample taken today, 10 straws collected and frozen. Does this mean 10 individual sperm?

@camelinastorm oh you're well underway! Are you feeling OK with the drugs? I'm downregulating with decapeptyl but it's a depot so just one injection and then hopefully back in two weeks later xx

@Eagerlywaiting1990 yes mine was a depot injection I had mine 2 weeks ago, I was fine with it I found it stung a little, however it may have just been it's the first injection I have done in a while

@ivfjourneyandme I think it's quite a few in each one, unfortunately they didn't tell us how many like that, are they freezing the sperm ?

@pinksheetss I think we will hold out the exact same time last year I tested early got a clear positive and then on boxing day started spotting by new year it was full bleed and it was a chemical so going to try hold out until after Christmas
