Anyone starting stims in November?

I started stims last night. I'm on a long protocol. Started in October with norethisterone and then Buserelin. This is my second IVF cycle.

First cycle I didn't take the Buserelin, had 8 eggs collected, 3 blasts, none normal (1 high level mosaic in the freezer)

I'm on a 2 cycles package, so hoping this one is the lucky one 🙂

@Cosyseason1234 thanks, yes my DD is 22 .. I was 19 when I had her so a long time ago now .. my partner doesn’t have kids though and would love to be a dad .. really hope we can make that dream come true for him! but yeh I was absolutely fine with that pregnancy, I loved pregnancy with her and the birth was all smooth.

@Anonneom that’s amazing .. congratulations.!! Woop .. will they book a date for your 1st scan and do they take HCG levels at all ?

I also have some good news to share .. we got our day 6 update and the other two made it .. so out the 4 that fertilised - 4 made it to blast .. I can’t believe it .. we have sent all 4 biopsy for PGTa testing so fingers crossed for some if not one euploid .. 🤞🏽💫

@hopefullsosbry awwww that is lovely. My friend has a 16 year age gap between her kids and they have a beautiful relationship 🥰 we are in same boat, I am very grateful to have a DS from previous relationship and hoping to make my boyfriend a daddy ☺️ amazing news on the blasts so pleased for you!

Best of luck for your test date, how are you feeling ? Well done for not caving and testing early .. I always test at 5dp transfer .. I just can’t wait ! 🙈🤣

Just a little update as you've all been so supportive and helpful on this thread! We got our BFP today 💓 have tested positive for the past few days but today is our OTD so hopefully it's all looking good. Really hope things go well for everyone else here x

I was hoping for a transfer in Jan but it's going to be March now...
My consultant was on leave until the 16th so only had the fu consultation this Tuesday. I decided to do the EMMA/ALICE tests but they couldn't fit me in this month. So I'll do those in Jan, plus a dummy embryo transfer and 3D SIS. Then if all comes back okay, Feb will be a prep month. He said because of my endometriosis and adenomyosis (which until this week I didn't know I had) I will need to do a month of downregulation.
Then transfer will be March.

By the time I am ready for my transfer I hope to see pregnancy announcements from you all :)

@bubu I am sorry to hear about your endo and adenomosis diagnosis but really impressed to hear that your consultant sounds like they are amazing and making sure everything is perfect for your transfer. It really sounds like they are going the extra mile.

My consultations have been very generic and if I had my time again (we have said one cycle only) would definitely pick a more intimate clinic that are as personalised as yours sound like they are!

Thank you @Cosyseason1234 . I knew about the endo, the adenomyosis was a surprise. But oddly not concerned. I did a bit of googling initially then decided to simply not worry about it. My consultant has been amazing so far and I know he will check everything and put me on the right treatment to minimise any potential risks. So feeling quite relaxed and positive.

And in your case, maybe there's just nothing to highlight as there are no issues. I would take it as a positive :)

@Cosyseason1234 thanks for asking I am good.. just still waiting to find out if any of the 4 embryos we biopsied are euploid .. they said up to two weeks for results but usually within ten days .. I think they only sent than on Monday so might be after Xmas we get results
@bubu24 that’s frustrating for you I guess as you will just be wanting to get the transfer done and get your wee embryo in nice and snug , but ... wishing you all the best though with the upcoming tests etc .. prob the best decision to do what you are doing to get everything checked for preparation 🥰

@bubu24 i love this! ‘I did abit of googling and then simply decided not to worry about it’ I will definitely try to take some inspiration from it, IVF has taken a lot out of me this year. I think we can all take something from this attitude 🙌🏻

@hopefullsosbry I am good thank you for asking, there was abit of an admin error this week that really stressed me out but hopefully it’s all sorted now and the break has actuallt been a blessing in disguise. Hope you are enjoying your break while you wait for results and having some nice food and drinks over Christmas?

@Cosyseason1234 oh no.. sorry you were having errors .. glad it’s all sorted though now .. fingers crossed for no more hiccups .. ! Yes I will be enjoying Xmas and new year thanks, then I also have to get my colposcopy biopsy results in January sometime to see if I have to get abnormal cells burned in cervix, all that needs to be sorted before they will put a transfer in ☺️ just a waiting game for us .. will keep you all posted though when anything changes for me 🧡 in the mean time I am going to start taking optibac .. some supplements for microbe in uterus to keep it nice and balanced ☺️I have read good things about it !

thanks @Magix86 I'm doing ok so far! Scan is on the 30th. Been feeling more hungry and a tiny bit nauseous at times but not too bad at all so far.

@hopefullsosbry the supplements sound really good and hopefully biopsy results will be good for you ❤️ please keep us updated!

Anyways I hope all the ladies with BFP are doing ok and best of luck for upcoming scans etc .. super exciting times 🥰🧡
